My nose stud fell out and I couldn't get it back in without the needle guide. Jenna saw me right…read moreaway and put it back in. Super quick, nice, professional. And there was no charge. Highly recommend supporting this place. Demetrias at the front desk was also very helpful.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I attended this business a few days ago (12/29/24 around 11am)…read moreand still cannot shake how unprofessional my experience was. I came in with a simple request, I lost the back of my nostril piercing and needed a replacement. I even called ahead with what my problem was and they said they could help me. To start, they didn't ask for my ID once, and I am a 20 y/o 5ft woman, I look pretty young and am agreeable and shy. They told me that it probably wasn't a good idea to do the stud, because they weren't sure if my top would fit into their backings (threadless nostril jewelry is pretty standard but okay) and that they don't sell the backs separately (fair enough... I believed that they were trying to save me money). So they offered a hoop. I've been interested in a hoop for awhile so I hesitantly agreed and asked for the smallest option. It looked pretty big in my hand, so I asked again if they were sure the stud would be a bad idea (they said yes) and if they have a smaller hoop. I was brought into the back room where I said again the hoop seems too big for what I'm wanting, but the piercer just wanted to get it done. No offer to hold up a mirror to test the jewelry, which should be the bare minimum. After an aggressive insertion, I look in the mirror and burst into tears. It was too big and bleeding and hurt so bad. So then magically, they offered to sell a cheap stud to me (which is all I was wanting in the first place). She takes out the hoop, and tries to shove in the back of the stud without properly threading it (it obviously didn't work with more blood and pain), until she tried again with the threading. Of course, my gem fit perfectly in the backing. And of course, I still had to pay for both the hoop, stud, and their time. They just wanted to make a sale on the $30 dollar hoop instead of the $15 stud. Even grosser is beforehand they said that doing the hoop would be "saving me money" since they don't sell the backings of studs separately from the gem or ball (even though come to find it was half of what the hoop was). I originally felt that it was my fault my experience was so traumatic, but it is the professional's responsibility to make their customer comfortable and confident in their decision, especially when they are clearly nervous/hesitant/asking for other options repeatedly. And when you are in a line of work working with people's bodies. In conclusion, it was rushed, unnecessarily painful, unprofessional, expensive, and most of all deceptive. I feel violated. And to top it all off, they threw the 14k gold earring I had in my nose as a placeholder when I arrived in the garbage (she fished it out of there for me, but come on). Do better.

I was extremely fortunate to find EB and Tim a couple years ago and I am so thankful that I was…read more The level of professionalism that these two show with every appointment, consultation, and sitting that I've spent with them speaks to how dedicated they are to their crafts. Since I've started going to them, I have not looked to anyone else to take care of my piercings or tattoos. EB is super helpful and thoughtful and has a great eye for piercing anatomy, and EB also takes the time out of super busy days to reply to messages and follow up with aftercare advice. EB from the beginning has been so accommodating with each visit and truly cares about the healing progress of finished work. Tim is such a hard worker and diligent artist and always takes time before/during/afterwards to make sure his projects are top notch. Every time that I see Tim's updated portfolio, my jaw always drops at how his creativity and his style shine, he is truly one of the best artists in the area in my humble opinion. Their work collectively speaks for itself. Additionally, they both take sanitation very seriously as they do not cut any corners in ensuring that their clients are taken care of for peace of mind. I recommend both of them in the highest regard and I think you should look no further when booking your next tattoo or piercing. Also, they both really love the organic fruit leather snacks from Whole Foods, I usually bring it during my visits to share with them because of how much they both love it. Make sure you bring them some and let them know I sent you!

The art speaks for itself…read more I started working with Tim (IG @darkerplz) in October 2019 and ever since then he's done nothing but grow as an artist and a true professional. His creativity and the level of detail in his work are constantly evolving and it absolutely blows my mind. My Experience from start to finish on large projects, coming up with ideas together, and sitting in the chair for 8-9 hours in a day at times, has been nothing but a pleasant and wonderful one. Such a very humble and down to earth person. Great energy. Great vibrations. Great environment. I'm sure majority of his current clients would agree with me that he's probably the most sick and talented tattoo artist they will ever work with (I think that Is the case for me at least). If you're looking to get work done by this artist and at this shop, you will be in great hands and they will take care of you without a doubt. If you're reading this and considering getting work done, get on the books and calendar ASAP, Tim's quite a busy man nowadays lol! Peace and love,

*Oh!?, small disclaimer. I was wrong in the order of my second and third tattoo. Ambrotos Tattoos…read moreis number 3 while Pop's Tattoo is number 2 tattoo I received. Not sure how I mixed this up. I remember I was devoriced or on my way to getting one when I got the third tattoo* 10/13/20 This Tattoo place use to be located at 940 bonifant st, silver spring, md 20910.  This is the tattoo location I went to incase this place does not remember me. (I will add my photo after work today) However, as Silver Spring has changed and grown from the hoodlum it was, to the new upper class area, many businesses have moved to other locations or shutdown for good. Ambrotos Tattoos in Silver Spring is where I aquired my second tattoo.  I showed up to this place on a spur of the moment... okay I called to find out when the opened on a certain day ahead of time. Anyhow, I showed up with no real preparation on what I wanted.  I looked around for awhile bouncing around ideas, until I found a picture of fairly with her wings spread. The idea of having another fox on my upper arm  came to mind.  This fox would on mountain top with a few apples near it. The fox is reaching for another apple. There would be a waterfall near it too. Waterfalls are something I have always liked since I was a kid. The tattoo artist I believe had red hair and was cool dude. He had a lot of patience with what I wanted to get done.  Any tattoo artist will tell you this is serious life choice. Once the tattoo is on your skin, removing it can be more costly than keeping it. Can be painful and unsightly  to remove it too. Both he and I understood this without having to say anything about that. As we talked, I found out he once worked at a tattoo place called Inkers Tattoo.  I found out he trained a girl...woman  named Ashley. (I HOPE I GOT HER NAME RIGHT) I did get the feeling they may have had a falling out.   Nevertheless,   I found it interesting that the person giving me my second tattoo would be the trainer of the person who gave me my first tattoo. Watching the set up of clean and sterile equipment. I watched as the needle scraped against my skin.  Personally the pain was pretty much nonexistent.  However as the needle  crept up to my chest, I could feel how painful it would be if I did get a chest tattoo. The mythical animal I call The Bellfox  is rarly seen by people with its wings.    The whole process of getting this tattoo was about 2 hours. The shading wasn't bad either.   The healing process wasn't as bad thos time around, because I now knew what to expect.  A+D First Aid Skin Ointment helped a great deal. I also used lotion, but I won't say which kind. The tattoo artist  at whichever place you go to will advise you what to get.   Your paying good money to get a tattoo from them so listing to their advise on the healing process is advised.   Not to jump off topic, but I will for a moment.  A guy once told me he had gotten a tattoo once. He later on that day went for a swim in a swimming pool and list all the color off of his tattoo. The guy had to get his tattoo redone again.  He was lucky his tattoo did not get infected too. I remember the guy telling me that if I ever get a tattoo, I should listen to what they say about the healing process and don't be a moron like him. Well I listen to what the tattoo artist told me and the itchy feeling of my arm/shoulder healed in no time.  I would like to thank this guy for the tattoo this guy did. If there was anything I would want changed about the tattoo,  it would be to add more water. Maybe one day I might have the artwork on both my tattoos updated with more water, but we will have to see. Maybe if I winner $100,000.00 I'll do it.

Previously my rating was higher but after some time healing of my second cartilage piercing I…read morerealized it wait done crooked. My earring went downwards through the back of my ear so I didn't realize the difference from just looking at the front. Now that I discovered this I am disappointed but can't do much about it so I just decided to close the second cartilage lobe since the crookedness makes it difficult to wear certain earrings. Sad honestly.

Due to the permanency and an awareness…read moreof my own OCD and perfectionism, I was stressed about getting everything exactly the way I wanted it. Seth was remarkably patient and worked with me to meet my requests on every last detail (size, aspect ratio, position, ink). (Embarrassingly, I asked him if we could move the template we transferred onto my skin 5 times for one tattoo, having to wipe it away and reapply it. It would have driven basically anyone crazy, but Seth was laid-back and understanding throughout.) The price was also very reasonable. As others have mentioned the private studio was clean and seemed well organized. Honestly, vibe at the studio is not something I care about (I just want a great looking, safe tattoo), but it did have a nice feel. In my case, I wanted something very specific (and relatively simple), rather than something creative from the artist. I got exactly what I wanted, and it looks perfect. Since this was my first, Seth also explained every step of the process to me as we went. In terms of safety, I saw all his new, packaged needles. (One thing I didn't verify was how he sterilized any reusable parts. ...something you could do yourself if you're inclined.) I'll definitely return to Seth for any future tattoos.

Amazing job! I am in love with my tattoo! It was painless and healed without any issue.read more
