I don't recommend this place at all. If you are a parent and want to take your teen to get piercing done, this place will give you a hard time to do that. They want ID parent (I get that), they want birth certificate (I get that) but now they want a passport or drivers permit. My child doesn't drive. You would think with my ID, my child birth certificate and her school ID would do. They said that their insurance asks for this but as I search on Maryland laws doesn't say anything about this. This is their "business law" which is fine but parents don't take your children here because they won't help you. read more

I know have my snakebites complete and they even changed out the jewelry on my healed side to match! I know that Rockville has better parking but Wheaton has Leo so that's my go to for piercings now! read more

He's great at communication, easy to sit with and taleted AF. He is creative, kind, funny and welcoming. For that matter, I've never encountered anything but friendliness and professionalism from any staff member or other patron. I reached out to this place trying to locate a guy that no longer works there. So I asked for the receptionist if there was someone of the same level of the guy; the girl indicate her boyfriend, but he is not good at all. He a shit job on my arms and shoulders, he doesn't know how to shade at all, also he put a non sense yellow in the middle of the roses that were supposed to be red. I've been doing a ton of research lately because getting a tattoo was on my bucket list. I actually want to do a 1/2 sleeve. However I couldn't have told you the first thing on what to do to get one. Finally after hours of looking, searching and asking around we came upon Tattoo Paradise, Ryan Clarke specifically. Thanks Pinterest, IG and the internet. Y We shot him an email stating what my wife and I were interested in gettin some work done by him, what's the next step and other questions. He responded really quick lot and was cool from the very beginning. We were stoked. We set our appointment, calling the shop (Wheaton) and they were awesome. Shout out to Trey who was awesome over the phone. Paid a $100 deposit and that was it. Next step was getting it done. This being my first tattoo I was nervous. We shot some ideas over to Ryan who was super helpful and asked questions and listened to what we wanted. Once we got to the shop he produced an awesome piece. I was interested in a traditional look and he produced. The shop is spacious, very clean and easily accessible. We were greeted and and filled some paperwork out and then met Ryan. He was great in explaining everything and making you feel comfortable. Trust me, I was freaking out inside. Throughout the session he talked to us and again, was very cool. We couldn't have found a better person to work with. I honestly had no worries at all, except for me crying but thank goodness that didn't happen. See the pics for the final product. 10 min in I was ready to book my next appointment. So yes we will be going back. The other artists in the shop were also very cool. I needed to replace my 22-year-old silver navel piercing with a non-magnetic titanium piece to get an MRI. I've never tried to remove my piercing and was really nervous about it, so I walked into Tattoo Paradise and was treated very carefully and professionally by Leo, who removed my old jewelry and quickly replaced it with a smaller titanium piece that I liked so much better! He also volunteered to get a mill certificate to show the MRI technician, which certifies that my new jewelry is non-magnetic. A lovely experience from start to finish! So.... I've had quite a few piercings and a few tattoos and this place is a super find, BOTTOM LINE! :) I walked in on a Saturday evening wanting 4 piercings and to discuss a tattoo idea for my back. I had just gotten a piercing done in Georgetown at Jinx a week prior and had a pretty chilly experience so I was thrilled that, from the gate, this was completely different. Brian, my piercer was awesome sauce! Personable, very professional, informative AND talkative enough to put a nervous person at ease. I can't stress how important it is to talk to your client. It makes everything go so much smoother. The room was private as to not put you and your goodies on display which I think is nice. Some places make it a spectator sport. We discussed placement so thoroughly you would've thought he was sharing the piercings with me. That let me know he wasn't just collecting my cash and letting me make crappy decisions. BUT even BETTER than that was his work. Piercings were done fast, w/ minimal pain & turned out great. I couldn't be happier. We walked around showing everyone in the shop. He was proud of his work. :) Very cool. The shop is clean, standard small like most tat joints and smack in between a botanica & an Ihop. Parking kinda blows. Somehow the neighboring liquor store has ALL the surrounding parking spaces like that makes ANY sense so all I can say is good luck with that. Anyhoo, all the artists were really nice and friendly and the prices were reasonable, in my opinion. Two of the piercings cost 50 bux ea. and they were cool enough to throw in the jewelry for free since I got multiple piercings, which I appreciated. I'll definitely be back to test their ink. I'd say you you'll be in and out without wanting to punch someone in the throat. So there ya go. Can't beat that. read more

I had worked with Cody on this idea for a clipper ship on the back of my calf, over the course of several months. I could not possibly be more stoked on the entire experience. From the first moment I even touched base with Cody, he was incredibly accommodating, kind and professional. This was my first tattoo so obviously I was a bit anxious. SANITATION ON POINT. I came here to get some shading done for one of my existing tatts. I went to the bathroom as soon as I went in and I got a chance to check the whole shop out. The shop is one of the cleanest places I've been in.. good first impression. Ryan has the BEST customer service. Nick and the young lady who was there were really nice too. They all greeted with pleasant smiles and were upfront with their prices. I'm not gonna lie, the prices weren't as cheap as I thought but Ryan was very reasonable the prices and the girl had a lot of patience to help with sizing and everything. JUST TO GET THIS STRAIGHT THEY DO NOT RIP YOU OFF HERE The prices aren't all that great but once I finished the shading I understood why. So I just went here for my third tattoo and I saw Scott. This guy is an amazing tattoo artist! I got a koi fish on my rib cage and came in with a couple of pictures of what I thought I might like. Scott took these pictures and transformed them into a masterpiece! My tattoo is beyond awesome. It took him about 2 hours to completely finish a color koi fish that covers most of my side and he was very meticulous! The pain was not as bad as what I thought and he definitely knew what he was doing! I will definitely go back to them again.
