I took the Zumba class after purchasing a package online, my first class was super high energy, great jams and a fun instructor to keep the momentum up. I am looking forward to checking out the other body conditioning classes here via the free 7 day pass and love the intimate atmosphere. Elevate is a very great working out environment because the people you're surrounded with are always pushing you and motivating you. I am over the top happy with my decision to do the 30day bodychallenge! At first I was unsure how I would perform cause I didn't work out for over a year, but the guys are awesome! I worked out 3times a week and ate clean and high protein for most of time ;) There are all kinds of fitness level in the classes. I got awesome results on my weight bodyfat and muscle mass. I took Row Circuit with Patric and it was an awesome class! The class had many stations, multiple activities per station. Basically, everyone was doing something different. Patric was great at giving everyone attention yet keeping good track of time. Well managed, well planned exercises. Such a great sweat! The place is a little tricky to find. It's in the back portion of Pasadena Strength and Conditioning. Go into PS&C, go thru the two white doors in the back to get to Elevate. It's like a hidden oasis! read more

All trainers are amazing... I have only been there for about a month and the classes they provide have helped me along my journey for a healthier and fit lifestyle... elevate fitness challenges you to go farther and reach the goals you have always wanted... the classes are so much fun and filled with so much energy..I love that the coaching not only goes on in the class but even before/after the classes... the coaches are always available for questions about work outs or nutrition. I was hesitant on joining a gym again after recently having surgery on my shoulder. I was out of shape and afraid to reinjure myself. From the first time I stepped in, Chris was extremely friendly, funny, and ready to listen to all my concerns. He made me feel like my health goals were something he not only cared about, but also something he wanted me to reach as quickly as possible while also enjoying every step of the process. He then introduced me to Jake. He was inviting, professional, energetic, and someone I could see myself training with for a long time. I've been attending the classes now for 6 months and I couldn't be happier with the results and family at Invicta fitness. I'm now in better shape than before the surgery and wish I wasn't so winded after each workout so I could talk with all the friends I've made while training together. I enjoyed the Spin classes that were offered here, but it appears they are no longer being offered. One particular instructor, Ron Matty, was really great, so I missed him when he left. I hope I can go back here if they start to offer Spin again. It was not so crowded, and I enjoyed the music. read more

Love classes at Invicta! I normally have a hard time motivating myself with any strength/weight training classes but Jake makes the classes very enjoyable and approachable. TRX suspension classes and the row classes are my fave! I started at Invicta from a Groupon about a year ago. I take zumba with Genevieve and I love it. I read the review by B.A. and disagree with her comment about the fans. The facility is small and without the fans, the mirrors and floor would be full of condensation. The building is old and there is no central air. Yes, during the winter it's a bit cold, but once we get moving....we all warm up. The room gets stuffy with 18 people dancing and sweating. I hope B.A. gives it another chance after she gets over her cold. Everyone who has been going to this class knows, we need the fans. read more

I love this gym! My favorite class is the Row Circuit with Patric!! I never knew an hour could go by so fast, and I was amazed at how my body could have a hardcore workout while still having fun! Patric has great energy and thorough knowledge, and he's always attentive to make sure I'm doing the exercises correctly. Every time feels like I have my own personal trainer!... I went in for one class called " Rowing Circuit" at Invicta Fitness. I was really into this class. It was the perfect mix of cardio and strength training. The class size was just right. I did not feel intimidated or barked at by the teacher. I felt as if I was with friends and that I could ask questions if needed. The class was a mix of veterans and newbies and I really would love to return and take the class again. The prices are a bit too much for me but they are on par with other fitness facilities in the area. I do think they are fair, just a touch out of my range. I loved that the place was large and spacious and well appointed. The parking situation was super easy and ample as well. Make sure you bring your water and towel as the workout is very intense and will get to your goals. I am going to keep my eye out for a groupon or online special so I can get back to Invicta Fitness as soon as possible. I can see myself getting in great shape by taking their classes a few times per week. The schedule is very good and the online scheduling system is super easy and user friendly. I actually look forward to going back. read more

I saw the deal on Groupon for Invicta and was wanting to purchase it for the spin classes. Unfortunately, they're currently looking for a new instructor so I'll probably have to wait a couple more weeks until spin class is back. I ended up purchasing the Groupon deal anyway to try something new, and went to the TRX class last week. It was a GREAT work out and I almost couldn't finish the class, but to be fair, i probably pushed myself too hard in the first 20 minutes even though Jake kept telling us that we need to work out in a pace that we feel comfortable in. I think i was just too excited. I will be going back this week to redeem myself though, and I'm sure the 2nd class will be better than the 1st. read more

I must say that the way I came across this gym was through nutrishop and a 6 week challenge they were promoting. I come from 24 hour gym which I felt I was getting no where and was tired of seeing their personal trainer not really care about the clients. So I decided to give this challenge a try and from the first interaction I had with Chris which he provided a sit down where he went over my bodycomp and the goals I wanted in my results he was able to explain everything until I understood all the numbers. Once I stepped into the class I was hooked and in love with the classes and the system they were providing. The trainers Patric and Jake know you by name and they really care about you and the goals that you are trying to achieve. I made sure that during this challenge I did not take anything for granted so if they were going to provide a free membership for the challenge I was going to push myself and put the work in. Now being a single mother of 3 kids I found that elevate became my escape to workout and have fun with the great music and great group of people. In those 6 weeks I was able to win the challenge which I won free protein for a year and two months free of personal training. After I finished my challenge I was so hooked with elevate that I knew I couldn't stop going. I love the community they have built around this gym, they care about each and every one person that comes in. I thank them everyday because without the help of all them I would not have been able to get the results that I continue to get. I am so hooked to the workouts that I go twice a day. There is no way that you can not reach your goals with elevate, if you are willing to put in the work they are providing a great atmosphere, great trainers that care about you and an amazing workout! After experiencing elevate there is no way I would go back to 24 hour... I am hooked! read more

I really liked this gym for the Zumba classes when I first started to go. The instructors were great (much better than at other gyms I had been to) and it was super convenient for me. After my groupon was over though and I actually had to purchase a membership, my opinion changed. Every month, they changed the membership options and rates. One day, the only option was to purchase a package (1, 5 or 20 classes at a time for example). The next day, I'd go to the site and see the only option is unlimited. Then the next month, a number of classes that expire the end of the month. Then only the option to buy a class at a time. Every time my prior membership option expired, there was never an option to just renew but you had to subscribe to a new and different schedule. I contacted management; however there was never an option for someone who had purchased a month unlimited the prior month (for example) to retain that option vs the new and currently offered options. No one responded to my last inquiry and I eventually found a new gym. Also, the prior instructors appear to have quit and so there's not even the same class offerings. Also, the options made it very difficult for someone who had one membership to try out different classes. I'm very disappointed because this gym had potential. read more
