If you are looking for an intimate and intense place to get into shape and shed the pandemic 15, you've found the right place! My wife and I have been part of this community for the near 4 years since the inception of this place - and we've been in here at least 3 days a week whenever we were not on vacation. First, the workouts are intense and will not only bring the results you want, but keep it. Within 6 month joining this place back in 2017, I lose 15lbs and have kept it off since, and same goes for my wife. The workouts are dynamic and changed daily, and is a mixture of HIIT and full-body weight training. It will definitely get your heart rate up, you will also see significant muscle gain as well. What I love the most are so called "micro-challenges", where a block of the workout is designed to for you to hit some sort of competitive goals (say - the time it takes to bike 50 calories, then row 500 meters, etc). It's all just a bit of fun to spice up the work out. If you are intimidated, I recommend calling them to set up a personal training regimen to get acclimated then join the regular classes. That worked for us, and though many of the other folks started with the classes instead. Lastly, I want to give a shoutout to the community at large - they are super supportive and (also) super hard working, so we keep each other accountable. Josh, Joy, and all the trainers here are super low-key and friendly, and they make sure your are not just pumping weight and getting sweat but that you form is good so you can keep feeling great for a long time. I'm really happy they made it through the pandemic - they were lifesavers for me in terms of staying sane physically during the past year and half. After having a kid during covid, I was really hesitant to go back to the group class setting again, but I knew I needed that social element that I was not getting at home with my virtual classes. I'm so glad to have found Elevate Fit Life! It had been at least two years since I have really worked out and I was self-conscious about my fitness level. Dani was so friendly and welcoming and guided me through the first free class. I immediately signed up for a membership on the spot. The classes are the same all day, but the focus and workouts are different every day. They have a lot of classes available daily which is convenient, starting at 5:00 am and last offering at 5:45 pm. I loved the block system, so you are spending only about 9-11 minutes maximum at each block and you can work at your own pace. Dani is always spotting me and ensuring I have the right form and is available when I have questions. The music is also great - sometimes those 60-minute classes fly by! I always build up a sweat and am challenged and I am never bored with all the different equipments and workouts they offer. Lastly, you can sense the community among those who take classes there. The gym also offers challenges and events outside of work outs. Highly recommend coming to this gym if you want to get back into a exercise routine! read more

I've been going to EFL for 3 years now, and I have been so grateful for the classes and the coaches. I joined in 2021 and had been increasing my strength substantially for a couple of years when I was in a bad car accident in 2023. If I had not been in the shape I was due to that strength training in at the time of the accident, it would have been much worse. As it was, I was still pretty injured and had to scale back my workouts substantially. I was in a lot of pain and extremely discouraged and frustrated. Consistent classes and just backing off when I had to respect my limitations, combined with the full body strength and conditioning workouts and the support and guidance of the coaches, has largely brought me back to where I was before the accident and even stronger in some aspects. Dani, Anthony, RJ, Kendra, and Jenna are such great and encouraging coaches and will help correct your form to safely push yourself and offer alternatives to continue to work out effectively if you're struggling with a particular exercise that day. I've been training at Elevate Fit Life since the gym opened. I appreciate how they continue to evolve and motivate me in my fitness journey. Every workout is different which allows me to train my entire body every week. They recently added strictly strength Wednesday which has helped me improve my body composition muscle mass. Great studio! I love the challenging classes and the fact that they're on the second floor. Plenty of natural light AND people walking by can't see you working out. Nice features: + They have an InBody machine for challenges (those cost extra/not sure how much just a scan would cost). It's cool to be able to easily see before and after percentages and numbers. + Their app makes it easy to book classes. I think using the MINDBODY app also works but their app seems simpler because it's not trying to advertise a bunch of other studios when you're trying to just reserve a class at your studio. + Facebook group for members. Coach Griff is so wonderful and really challenges them, and they actually look forward to going and come home happy and sweaty. Great option to keep kids active in a one on one setting. I've tried more group fitness gyms than I'd be happy to admit - F45, orange theory, les mills, etc and Elevate is a whole head and shoulders above the rest. I needed something to motivate me to drop some weight since having a baby and this place far exceeded my expectations. The 45 min classes are always different - they're efficient yet fun and if you weren't so exhausted by the end of it you'd almost wish they went for longer! The circuits are tough but can be modified to any fitness level. It really does come down to how much you push yourself. These classes would benefit both beginners and elite athletes. There are so many pro's, but coming from a personal trainer myself, the best part about this gym is the personal touch. These trainers CARE and they want to see you succeed. Don't expect these trainers to stand on the sidelines, they will motivate you, get to know you and ensure your form is on point. Quality over quantity with zero intimidation. When I came across Elevate, I had been doing my regular cardio/few weights at 24 hr fitness for ten years - I was that person who refused to pay more than $20 to go to a gym. I tried Elevate out when they opened up in my bf's apt building fours years ago and I will never go back to a regular gym. For me, this is the one thing I am willing to spend more on because I finally realized my physical and mental health are worth it. Elevate Fit Life has the two most genuine, hard working, and caring owners I have ever encountered in my fitness journey. I started working out with the owners, (Griff and Dani), during the pandemic. They provided a positive environment and friendship that helped get me through those dark days. They have the most thoughtfully planned fitness classes. I mainly attend the 6am classes, though all their classes are impeccable. They also have the best instructors and trainers. One of those being Kendra Griffin who teaches the 6am class every Friday. Kendra's classes are also thoughtfully structured and extremely effective. Her attention to detail and the care she provides to the members makes all the difference and is a perfect match to the care and attention provided by Dani and Griff. Coach/Trainers are attentive to everyone in class, providing instruction on proper form and offering modifications as needed. I have been a member of dozens of gyms and Elevate is BY FAR one of the best (if not THE BEST) gym I've ever joined. The space is beautiful and so fresh. The equipment is great and I love the variety. My favorite part of this gym is how challenging it is. I dropped in for two sessions. One for the HIIT class with Amber, the other for the barbell-focused class with Katrina. I had a ton of fun and both classes made me super sweaty. Both trainers would go around the class correcting people's form when needed and they are all about people being safe and not getting hurt. The gym space is awesome, they keep it super clean and tidy. All the equipment is brand new, and it has similarities to a CrossFit box. The workouts at Elevate Fit Life are always fun and challenging. Before I started working out at Elevate, I primarily ran long distances and never understood why I was never losing the weight, and could never decrease my average pace per mile. Fast forward a year and a half and my run times have never been as fast as they are now. Elevate has helped me build strong legs and core muscles to endure those long runs.
