Worst Place I Have Ever Lived If you read this and decide to still live here, then the next 12+ months is on you for what's in store... (by the way, this is their second Yelp account. Look for the other elevate account that they're hiding with a 1 star) Property Management does NOT manage the property what so ever. This is a reflection of Jackson Square Apartments Company as a whole. The "Managers" Brittany Berrum (now at Helios in DTC) & Isabel Gonzalez. The rest of the leasing staff is an extension of them and aren't any better. Tina with Maintenance is new and really trying to turn things around, but too little too late. Everyone smokes on their balcony because they know that management has no control of them. Everyone doesn't pick up their dog poop because they know that management won't do anything about it. The Club House and Pool are disgusting and I have never seen the gym be cleaned, once. Not to mention that the gym equipment either doesn't work or is dangerously falling apart. Same with the dog wash area. (Refer To Photos) This Is NOT A "Elevated Way Of Living". Despite how expensive it is to live here, it feels like a trailer park. People working on their broken down cars outside. Cop Cars are here all the time. Poop everywhere. Cigarettes Butts everywhere. Garbage everywhere. Loud and out of control neighbors. People's shoes, bikes, trash and personal belongings in the breezeway (goes against Elevate's Common Area/Community Appearance Policies). With the type of culture that Elevate Apartment Managers (Brittany & Isabel) have created here, it attracts and retains a type of nightmare tenet that nobody wants to deal with and pushes out the respectful, good tenets after they realize that they have been lied to and mistreated. This goes for people who work here as well. Good people won't tolerate this type of chaos. Anyone they hire or stays on for that matter are inexperienced, rude and you can tell they hate their job, which creates an unwelcoming/cold environment for tenants to live in. It takes days and several follow up attempts for Management to get back to you (emails or calls). It takes weeks to fix anything wrong with your apartment and when they do finally get around to it, it's half-as$ed so it takes another couple of weeks if not months to properly fix the original problem. One thing after another breaks. So look forward to that as a new tenant! Being so close to Centennial Airport, you have low flying aircraft disturbing your peace constantly. There is simply not enough parking and if you try to park across the street as Management suggest during your tour as a potential new tenet, realize that you will get towed parking at that business across the street and management will deny suggesting that to you. DO NOT get your internet with CenturyLink like Property Management suggests. Within the first three months, my Internet went out 12 times. I wasted hundreds of dollars getting time off of work to be home for people to come in and out of my apartment to figure out the solution. Once I switched to Xfinity, I haven't had one problem. Basically, if Property Management recommends it, do the opposite. Most of the staff live at the apartments. They are VERY aware of all the problems and do nothing to fix them. They simple don't care. They break the rules themselves (don't pick up their dog poop, leave trash outside their door in the breezeway, etc.) When you first move in, you naturally bring up all of the problems that you see which are against Elevate's own policies that you're under contract to follow. After several months, you realize that Management starts to hate you for constantly reporting those problems. At that point, you can see that nothing is going to change, so you come to terms that you're overpaying to live in a trashy place and have to wait it out until your lease is up so you can move out. If you have read this and decide to still live here, then the next 12+ months is on you for what's in store. Good Luck My utility bill was always $230 or more per month for a one person/one bedroom unit. I moved out early and left my current unit that I still paid for vacant with no running water, heat, or any electricity for that matter and my bill was still more than than my previous month ($250), even though I didn't use it, so I don't know how they're adding up their utilities, but something seems like it's fishy. Tips DO NOT live on the bottom floor. Upstairs neighbors are always loud. People going up and down the stair cases will constantly drive you insane as well. DO NOT get your internet with CenturyLink. Get Xfinity. Trust Me Make sure to watch your garage door close and stay closed. They malfunction constantly which exposes your personal belongings inside of your garage as well as an entry to your home.

This's my new update after living here for a year now. This place has improved throughout my time with them since my last review. Management dealt with the pandemic professionally. They were one of the most supportive and understanding of the residents health (physically and mentally) and safety through a very stressful time. They tried to put people on schedule for using the pool. They managed to reopen the gym with capacity in respect of the current situation. They also have been managing maintenance perfectly. Thank you Elevate!

This place is a mess, structurally and aesthetically. The apartment I had was on the 2nd floor. The floors were so slanted and doors were so poorly insulated and mounted so high you could see the outside walkway light from underneath the front door while standing in your apartment. I filled out a maintenance request to fix the door a month before COVID, they delayed until they started using COVID as the reason they couldn't get maintenance to fix the door. I ended up taking an old yoga mat, cutting it into pieces and using duct tape with the mat I made a seal for the bottom of the door. It wasn't pretty but it was very effective. After seven or eight months of that I mentioned it again and the maintenance came in and put new insulation under the door, which was worse than what I had done and the air still came through. I could still see when the lights were on in the walkway, so I just put the mat back down. The patio door wasn't as bad but bad enough the wind makes a whistle so I put a door blocker at the base but that didn't help the vertical part of the door. There is a hot-water tank or A/C tank connected to the apartment, the access door to that tank is a door in the apartment. I asked about that thing and was told it wasn't a big deal. That thing constantly ran and when it runs the noise is so loud you have to turn up the volume on your tv to ridiculous levels only to have to turn the volume back down when the noise stops for a short period of time. The water-tank isn't even yours btw, yours is above the bathroom. The door to that was mounted with a good 1' 1/3" gap on the bottom so I had to put a wind blocker to stop the air-flow because you could feel the air coming from under that door as well. The floors were so slanted I did a "marble test" and level test. I rolled marbles across the floor and those things went everywhere including rolling up and turning back around. You could feel the slant while walking from one end of the room to the other, like you are dizzy. Don't get dehydrated or hungover in these apartments or walking on those floors can make you nauseous, seriously. In some areas of the floor your heel will sink into a hole, literally. It's insane how this building passed code. I measured the level and distance of the floors to see the drop from one end to the other and it exceeds building industry codes and standards by far. After getting this final bill I will be contacting the code enforcement for those floors. The doors were mounted so high you could see someone's feet while they are in the bathroom. I could put my foot under the door and see beyond the first toe knuckle. You can see if someone is sitting or standing at the toilet if you're standing in the kitchen area. Walking along the dog poop and urine soaked sidewalk is disgusting, when the temp heats up the stench is terrible. Trash is always piled high around the dumpster and most people when they move out just throw their old furniture against the dumpster door. The garbage pick-up is very early in the morning as well as the landscaping, when it happens. I was in an apartment with my room over the garage and had a concern about CO2 entering in my apartment while I slept. I asked maintenance about the detectors in the apartment and they told me they weren't CO2 detectors. People with the garages, on cold days, warm up their car and that's exhaust traveling up into the apartment. The management had to send out an email asking garage owners to not warm up their cars. I bought a Co2 monitor for my bedroom being it's right above a garage. The maintenance finally installed a dual smoke/Co2 monitor after a non-related problem. When the garage doors open and close it shakes the floor. Everyone owns a dog and all of them will start barking when one starts barking. The sound along the buildings reverberates across the parking lot, amplifying all noises so it sounds like the dog is right outside of the window even though this dog might be two buildings down and then add in the three or four more dogs which join in the barking and it's insane. If you have to walk on the North side of the buildings after snow, the paths are still covered in ice even though you pay for ice / snow removal and the snow has "already" been removed, you know it takes some time before the ice melts when there isn't direct sunlight. The parking is ridiculous and limited. If you have friends come over they will either have to park across the street in a parking lot not affiliated with the apartment, which is also not monitored nor secure, so you run the risk of tow or you have to register and pay a fee for each night non-residents park in the parking lot...and believe me, the tow trucks are active. They just wait until the evening to tow cars. The tow truck drivers will randomly check cars and verify if they have paid and if not they tow immediately. I used to work a shift that had me arrive back at the apartment late at night, early morning. I often sa

The pros: work out room pool club house ample parking little to no noise issues friendly and informative staff close to lots of destinations (from corporate storefronts to mountains) über pet friendly high ceilings 60-day notice (instead of typical 30-day) The cons: posted speed is 10mpg and not always followed sometimes tenants don't close the walk-through gates behind them drive-in gates seem to be broken often Some rat-fink tenants partied it up and caused the previous privilege of 24-hour access to the gym to be limited to a new time restriction: 5am - 10pm. If management had a crystal ball and could prevent these numnuts from ruining this for everyone, I'd buy them all cookies. We face north, sort of east, and it's quiet on this side. We walked through all the floor plans and opened the patio doors and windows to test our sound tolerance. There's plenty of parking: open, carport, double level garage and single garages. We didn't get hit with hidden fees...we read the fine print and asked a sh-- ton questions. We're annoying that way. :) I suggest you raise your annoying flag high whenever you make a financial commitment. Here's what you should know..."basic" rent is for the apartment only. The "upgrade" models are more expensive by about $40 - $50 / month, last time I checked. There are extra fees for a parking space that is not open. Washer and dryer come with apartment. Do not pay rent using your VISA; there's a heart-attack inducing processing fee. Your pet will need to pay rent. Recycling bins fill fast. For a fee, there is extra storage available around complex. I'm giving 4 stars because of the constant gate issues.

I like the code on the door but I feel like it would be easy for a break in or to get locked out. (I have already been locked out) The train is sooooo loud even with the windows closed and I can hear every car racing on Santa Fe. It smells like pee everywhere. People leave stuff everywhere. I PAY for trash and they don't even pick up my tied bag in my trash can (like requested). Elevator breaks down, pool breaks down, roads keep getting shut down to the house. I've gotten many parking tickets because I've had to park on the side BECAUSE THERES NO PARKING WHERE I PAY TO HAVE PARKING. My husband's new car has been badly scratched. It's such an inconvenience to live here and I would have rather lived in a camper with all these problems honestly. I feel like it's problem after problem and I'm paying about $2,000 a month for a ONE BED ONE BATH and I feel like it's way too much for the quality I'm getting. Although it's beautiful and I love this place everything turns into an inconvenience and I just will not be living here next year. You can never have a peace of mind because you're always thinking about parking or something. I am very disappointed with living here. I would tell anyone to not live here.

I have been living in these apartments since 2020 during the pandemic when there was really no one…read moreliving here. In 2021 more people started moving in since Job started opening back up and I noticed that the complex we're having difficulties with people letting their dogs poop and not pick it up and they would poop anywhere and everywhere whether it was inside of the elevator on the sidewalk or at the dog park. That was OK whatever that was on the residence behalf. But also during my time staying here, my cars have been broken into three times and every time I bring it up to the front office they say they're gonna look at the footage and never get back to me in regards to it. Just recently me and my mom this year decided to get on the waitlist for the covered parking spots which run roughly $75 a month additional onto your rent and our cars are still getting broken into and our plates are getting stolen off our cars. Same thing when we bring it up to management, they still tell us the same thing, although my car is directly under a camera and that is the reason why I decided to get the parking, they still aren't able to find or invest the time into figuring out who's vandalizing our vehicles. We pay more to fix our cars in the past two years and it is equivalent to over 2 to 3 months of rent combined. I don't see a reason why we pay combined over 3 to 4000 a month and we can't even have the peace of mind of feeling like we're protected and our cars will be there in the morning. Another issue is the fact that this place allows homeless people into the building and they sleep inside the waiting area underneath our benches. They also set fires in the garbage cans that are underneath our apartments. Lastly, to top off why I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone is the fact that there is no parking for any resident the amount of people and apartments that are available. There is not even close to half as many parking spots available for that. So therefore, a lot of residents are parking on the outskirts of the road but now that a brand new apartment just opened up right beside us that parking spot space will eventually be gone as well which makes it harder for people to park. I know every complex has its own difficulties and issues but I just hate how Oxford station keeps accepting more residents and not looking out for the residents that they have here. I must say maintenance is amazing!!! Without a doubt Jon works super hard and he has a buddy now who also works super hard so I would never take that from them in regards to maintenance request and trying to keep the building as clean as they can. But when it comes to management and their lack of effort with finding out or even trying to prevent all these car, break-ins car theft, people trying to break into our apartments and homeless people living inside the building and setting fires. It just makes me very upset to where I felt like I needed to leave a review since my emails aren't doing any good! Hopefully this helps the next person looking for an apartment here at Oxford station! We pay wayyyyy to much a month for a "nice luxury apartment" and it doesn't reflect any of that!

So, read on, folks. After calling this place home for almost a year, I'm happy to report that I couldn't have chosen a better community and location. Denizen is nestled mere steps from the light rail, a few more steps from grocery stores, and a bit more--err, but not too many--steps from a plethora of South Broadway shops, bars, and restaurants. Beyond that, the units are some of the nicest and cleanest I've ever seen. And, as an added bonus, the new Community Manager (Sarah Park) really takes this place to another level with her kindness and professionalism. So, if you like a walkable neighborhood, free coffee, ample dogs to pet, fun neighbors, and the most friendly and attentive front desk staff you'll ever meet, then cancel your other apartment tours. Besides all that, this is a great location and the building is still pretty new. Many of the residents are like-minded and young professionals like myself. I would still recommend people to consider denizen as an option for living, but be mindful that some reviews may be outdated; there has been a decline in management the last year or so.

The staff is extremely attentive, neighbors are fun and outgoing, community events are very well organized. We absolutely loved the neighborhood: lots of bars, restaurants, Trader Joe's, hair/nail salons, a great park, convenient bus stop with plenty of buses going Downtown, easy access to Cherry Creek bike trail - everything is within 2 minute walk! The apartment itself was very nice: we had one bedroom with a balcony, and we were the first people to live in it. We didn't have one issue with any appliances/fixtures the entire time we lived there. And any small requests (e.g. lightbulb changes in the overhead stove light) were taken care of the same day. The finishes are very nice and modern, and the windows (especially in the bedroom) are huge! Lots of natural light. One thing I personally enjoyed in particular - because of how well this complex was built, it retains heat extremely well. In the two winters that we spent in the complex, we turned the heat on for approximately 2 hours the entire season. The apartment just stayed warm! And surprisingly, it didn't get too hot in the summer either so A/C never ran for too long. While there are not too many amenities, 7/S has everything you will truly need: fantastic gym with windows all around, great rooftop with mountain views and grills, cozy common area upstairs with several TVs, nice fireplace, and a shuffle board. On one hand, I wish this building had a pool. On the other - every other building that has a pool inevitably becomes an extension of a frat house in the summer since everybody constantly throws parties in the pool area. I would hate to live in one of those buildings during summertime! Unfortunately we had to break the lease because we moved to SF for work, but the entire process was smooth and painless (I should mention that we weren't able to sublet our apartment and had to pay the fee, but we had a very short notice and the fee is outlined in the lease, so it was completely fair). The only negative event that occurred while we lived in 7/S was the bike theft, and unfortunately our bike was stolen during the first (out of three) round. However renter's insurance took care of it within 2 business days so while very sad - at least it wasn't a financial burden. If this building in your price range and close to where you want to be - definitely consider moving here! Will be best decision of your life!

Was definitely concerned that I'd be discriminated against like in the past for being a transgender and LGBTQ+ resident but so far they have been so great of management. I did have some issues getting my hot water fixed for a while but I know that they did everything they could less replacing the whole water heater and then they eventually did that too. The only thing I can think of that I am a bit bothered by is that I can't seem to get them to fix my log in to the online portal and that does take away from my rights as a tenant to report maintenance issues, view/print copies of my account statements and pay my rent bill online. Wish they'd fix this soon because I've sent so many emails addressing the issue without even a response from the management. I look forward to renewing my lease soon because they are overall a great company to work with and I love the townhouses. I'm looking forward to getting my renewal notice since I know you guys are super fair and understanding management. So happy to work with a management company that truly operates according to the housing laws and recognizes tenant rights. Thanks again for being one of the best places to rent from in Denver! Have requested to get them to just make universal wifi instead of each room paying, which is pretty pricey for no reason. Parking is expensive but that is everywhere for garage parking Valet trash - we don't particular think it's useful when you can easily walk to the chutes, so wasted expense.

You pay a substantial amount of money but once you sign your contract, forget anything being taken care of. Hallways have gone 2 weeks between vacuuming, garbage valet is not working well and you are required to pay for it whether you want it or not. Walking by and seeing cans outside of apartment doors all day is not good practice or a desirable look. Sometimes it sits for the entire weekend. Management keeps some of your deposit for "cleaning and touch up painting" when you move out, which is against the law as it is considered normal wear and tear. Been trying to get my full deposit back for 6 months. They don't care. They keep blowing me off and say they emailed corporate and that's all they can do. I had a nonstop noise from the ceiling from the moment I moved in. They kept saying "we wrote up a ticket" for 15 full months and never got it fixed. Heating was not addressed either. I had 2 story townhouse. One of the thermostats never kept the room at the desired temperature. Thermostat needed to be replaced and never was. Again 15 months of "repair tickets" and still was not resolved. So if you don't mind being ignored if you have an issue, go ahead and move there. But just know that if you have any concerns, they will not take action to resolve it in a timely matter.
