I would not recommend living here. I don't often leave reviews unless positive but it is important for others to know the conditions and to look elsewhere. 1. It took months of complaints with a neighbor on the third floor above me for any change. The walls are thin and I quite literally lost my sanity. 2. The trash was constantly overflowing. The maintenance workers went through and found a piece of my mail with my name, which may have flown outside due to wind, and they wanted to charge me 50 dollars for this. Ridiculous and rude. 3. In the six months I lived there, I had to replace the furnace (which took weeks in the middle of winter), the toilets constantly needing repair due to not flushing, screens falling off on the sliding door, and my dishwasher stopped working. 4. I was charged for the most absurd things at move out that including my dishwasher even with proof of a maintenance request that was never fulfilled. I was charged for new floors, carpet, that may have had very limited wear due to living. Save your peace and choose somewhere that you don't have to worry please. read more

They deserve 0 star! Ok, finally got a chance to write a review about this property. Noise issue - It's such an OLD building with some crazy residents. Super noisy as they got a paper wall, you can even clearly hear your neighbor slapping door from downstairs. Safety issue - people fight in parking lot during midnight and police came to arrest people. The property management didn't do anything about it. Cleanliness issue - When I moved in, the laundry cannot be used because it got mold in it. No one came to clean it even after reported. There is a large amount of animal hair in the carpet even after I vacuumed it. Management issue - The manager called Summer ignores residents' complaint and treats residents as ATM. If you decided to move out, she would charge you a big amount of money regardless of your complaint and the reason of moving out. She was so mean and when you decided to move out, she wouldn't provide any payment method because she prob has a cooperation with collections, she loves to send residents to collections to take kickbacks. read more

this place is trash, they over sold the place without enough parking. My family has paid over $1200.00 getting towed from the place we live. we're constantly not able to park on the grounds and have to park across the street?!!!!!! Business trucks, guests of other residents, and cars sitting on flat, out just there for storage. we also pay addition to the rent a parking fee. can't make this ish up! You can't leave your house in the evening or you'll have no place to park. By 5o'clock you better be home. smdh!!!!!!!! read more

Lots of potential but slow to make repairs and even simple basic maintenance ignored. Had high hopes when buildings were finally painted and parking lot sealed but still a long way to go to be worth the price. Units need to be fully renovated and are horribly inefficient resulting in high gas/electric bills, windows are so bad I had to put plastic over them to stop drafts during the winter. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVVVVVE this place. I have lived here over 7 years. I seriously have NEVER had any of the issues some of these other residents exaggerated about. Neither have my neighbors so I'd trust the majority here, not the miserable complainers. And that's all it is. Exaggerating miserable complainers. Every property is gonna have issues from time to time. It's how the management team handles them, that counts and I can ASSURE YOU that this team WANTS you to be happy here. What I do know for sure is that having lived here 7 years I am renewing again in August because it's an AWESOME place to live. REASONS YOU SHOULD LIVE HERE: -The management team is an absolute pleasure to work with. -Maintenance tickets are answered promptly and they get it done right the first time. -They pick up that Emergency line 24/7. I know from personal experience. -Gina, the office manager has been incredibly helpful. She has gone above and beyond. She is a true professional and has the patience of a saint. I've witnessed it and her position is not always an easy one. -I've lived in places where when you walk in the office you get the feeling they are annoyed you're there. That is NOT the case here. They are eager to help. - Sarah is one of the most approachable and helpful people on the planet. When you call the office, someone actually answers and it's a human on the other end!!! Usually Sarah. Smiley, great customer service and an awesome listener. She just gets it done without the attitude.  -The property itself is quiet and very pretty, especially in the spring. -Dogs and cats are welcome!!! There is soooo much room to walk them and the dog park is literally right down the street and it's less than a mile away. -It's quiet here. Zzzzz. I've lived on both sides of the property and no matter if you're on the 1st or 3rd floor, it's quiet. I work crazy hours and no matter what time I get home, day or night, the facility is safe and peaceful. The neighbors are hardworking professionals and families for the most part. No frat house here. Thank you!!!! -The apartments are updated and spacious. TONS of closet space. -As a community, the people here are really nice. Always willing to offer a helping hand or welcome newcomers. My neighbors are working professionals and are super cool. -Location location location... I25 is less than a mile away in either direction. 225 is also. -The airport is 30 mins away. Target, Pet Smart, Whole Foods, Safeway and Walmart are literally right down the street.  -You get a lot for what you pay for here. -The pool is awesome in the summer and the hot tub is open year round. Whoop!!! The gym is available 24/7 and always clean.  -I've lived in apartments all over Colorado and by far, this is my favorite. It checks all the boxes. -Just live here already. read more

There's a slight degree of "entertainment" to reading some of the previous reviews of the Arapahoe Club Apartments. I was a resident there for four years & like some I, too, didn't have the smoothest move-in. BUT Lena was there to work through the issues with me & at no point did I feel like she was trying to "dodge" her responsibilities to me as a new resident of her community. The impression left was quite the opposite & I knew I wanted to continue establishing a strong relationship with Lena & her staff so they knew I wasn't another "entitled resident". Over the years I felt Lena took care of all my concerns & even during times she was understaffed, she still assured me things would be done as soon as possible. The community, itself, was nice, well kept & clean. I felt the obvious issues were a result of irresponsibility of tenants & not enough attention given by staff. For example, the dog poop issue. This issue is NOT just Arapahoe Club's issue but its also an issue created by irresponsible, lazy and/or unprepared pet owners. Yes, as a resident we pay pet rent but that shouldn't "free" a pet owner of picking up after his/her pet. And if you forgot your poop bag, go get one & come back to pick up your dog's $hit. Another example would be the overfilled garbage dumpsters.....NOT just Arapahoe Club's issue but its also an issue created by irresponsible residents. If you see your dumpster is full then walk to another dumpster that isn't and then let the leasing office know about the issue. To simply throw your bag of trash into an already overflowing dumpster represents your "backwards" contribution to solving the issue of keeping the community clean. Lastly, our first floor apartment was ready on move-in day & we were happy to call it home for the time we did. The only issue we dealt with was related to our kitchen sink which backed up on more than a few occasions. The maintenance staff experienced high turnover so I always took that into account if repairs were on a slight delay. I didn't yell, scream or write horrible reviews about the community but instead I remained "a squeaky wheel" while always maintaining a professional & constructive attitude with Lena & staff. They always appreciated it & I appreciated them. In the end a 3rd party vendor needed to be called and our kitchen sink was "snaked" to clear the pipeline. If I could leave any further constructive feedback for Arapahoe Club it would be to add some sanitizing materials (spray bottle & paper towel) to the gym that is regularly stocked by your staff. I left a previous review, however I can't see it anywhere so I'm making another one. The problem is management. They don't care about their tenants quality of life in the slightest. They only care about money and the easiest way to do things. I've lived here now for two years almost. When I moved in, parking was a serious issue, constantly there would be zero spots available and me along with other tenants would have to park completely outside the complex. Their solution to this? Make tenants pay for open lot parking. 1 spot per lease holder but no restrictions on guest passes or how long they can have these. So on top of still having issues with not having parking within the complex, we have to pay for spots we don't get to use. They said they would tow those violating. However, multiples times I've called about such issues and each time it would take multiple calls and days for them to actually tow such violators. The biggest issue is noise disturbances during quiets hours specifically written in the lease. It's said people violating these are subject to eviction. However, for more then the past year the upstairs neighbors have no awareness and stomp like their sumo wrestlers. All day and almost all night. So past quiet hours. It's practically everyday. I've complained more than I'd ballpark around 20 times. I started wearing earplugs so often that it caused ear damage cause it was the only way I could get any sleep. Management is aware of this. They sent me on a goose chase to do things in order for them to " be able to actually do anything". I called the police multiple times and have reports because they told me to. After I jumped through every hoop, they told me they would call them to warn them. After at least 10 previous calls. They were saying the neighbors claimed they weren't home at times of complaints so it was " he said she said". Even though when this was claimed, I did not give times or even dates so it's blatantly a lie. After this, I sent videos of the noise as well as photos of their lights on at night to prove they're home. After a week of not hearing back from the manager I sent these too, I checked in for an update. She told me " I could not access the video footage so I have no update for you. I need proof that the excessive noise is occurring. ". I've sent the same videos to multiple other people and they work just fine. I was so taken off guard on how unprofessional this was. She had not responded for a week and clearly had no intention to respond to me ever if I hadn't reached out. Which has become a pattern during this whole year. read more

You will be making a huge mistake by living here. HORRIBLE RECORDS! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. They have a new person working the front desk every month, and never properly trained. If I could give them no stars I 100% would. I moved out of my apartment and left it in beautiful shape and they have scraped every last bit of money from me that they could. And have even LOST money that we gave them. 3 months later they are still telling me I owe them money. VERY POOR BOOKINGS, POOR MANAGEMENT, and POOR OWNERSHIP. Do not live here. From day one our experience at Arapahoe Club Apartments on Syracuse Way was more than disappointing. To start, the pre-approval form I signed when I found these apartments which stated the proposed rent, additional fees, deposit etc was not honored the day we moved in and on that day of us moving in to sign, the lease then listed the rent increased by $10, yes you may say it's only $10 but the point is it was a predictor of how things were going to be living there. The agreement was not honored even though it was a signed agreement and when I asked about it being honored the receptionist then proceeded to inform me that after asking the manager there was nothing that could be done, that there had been a mistake in the price she originally gave me and the correct one was the one now on the lease. Ummm Ok? How is that our fault? Why should we now pay an additional $120 for the year just because the manager made a mistake in pricing us? At this point with a moving truck packed full of our belongings waiting and charging us by the hour we were forced to accept that, given it was moving day and we had nowhere else to go. Then it gets worse, the apartment was not even ready. Not cleaned, room doors were dusty and dirty, fixtures not placed correctly and some missing, screens on windows missing, sliding screen door missing, ice maker in fridge not hooked up, and cabinet doors still missing not to mention the maintenance people where still there day of move in SPOT painting the walls, not a full paint job but spot painting the walls here and there to cover imperfections of chipped paint and dirt spots. So, because we had to wait HOURS before being able to move in we lost our moving helpers for that day and instead had to move our stuff ourselves. We spent 8 hours moving in. It then became the routine, for there to be a problem and management offer no solution. For example, our apartment was entered without our permission more than once, one of those occasions police had to show up because due to their lack of following our wishes to not enter our apartment without us present, our alarm went off and the police were dispatched. As a result of this also one of the maintenance guys broke the front door threshold trying to open the door as the alarm was going off and him unable to get out. The whole year we lived there it was never replaced, we moved out with it still broken. Next the dryer in our apartment broke down and when maintenance showed up to "fix it" we overheard them saying to each other that the new part they were using for the replacement didn't work and that is why the package was open but yet they proceeded to use it to replace the old one with a still broken one. We then waited 3 weeks for them to send another maintenance person to fix our dryer and all in the meantime we had to spend money to dry our clothes at a laundromat. Did management offer to discount what we paid of the rent for the dryer? Absolutely not. It gets better! After we finally moved out of this hell hole the manager had the audacity and nerve to send us a bill for what needed to be changed and updated after our move out. Not only was she keeping our deposit, we were being charged for a full paint job, when all that was done when we moved in was spot painting the apartment, we were being asked to pay for the full paint job for the next tenant?! We were being charged for a carpet deodorizing AND carpet cleaning because we had pets. What then is the reason for the pet deposit and pet rent?! And we were also being charged for normal wear and tear items such as replacing the stove burner pans (normal wear and tear people!!) the sliding door blinds had been broken when initially placed by the incompetent maintenance people and they wanted us to pay for new ones! So not only was our deposit being kept but management was trying to charge us an additional $100. When I responded to this letter and bill and disputed the charges I was given a "you knew the lease and signed it" worst.customer.service by far. I am a client service supervisor myself and was baffled at this treatment. The manager proceeded to "argue" with me via email back and forth about what was right and wrong and only after I asked for corporate and her supervisor's contact information as I felt we were not getting anywhere productive she agreed to a compromise and that we would only be responsible for a couple of the charges. That would have in fact meant them owing us money. This was agreed upon December 2017 and we have yet to see that reimbursement check in spite of the multiple follow up emails to her asking about it. So how was our experience at Arapahoe Club apartments? The WORST EVER and we have been sure to let everyone we know and anyone that is looking for an apartment to know to stay clear of that horribly managed place. We have been here for 4 months and have no complaints! Seeing the reviews made us skeptical to sign a lease here, but our doubts have yet to be confirmed. The office staff is professional and knowledgeable, and I go to Kaitlyn for any concerns! Out unit is so clean and up to date, and we don't notice much sound coming through the walls. The people in the community always keep to themselves, but are still friendly! Only thing that we do not enjoy is the parking situation. There are not enough spaces, so you sometimes have to use a residential road across from the community to park. Besides that, so far so good, and i recommend this place to anyone that asks! read more

I can't express how frustrated I was at the management during my 8 months at these apartments. The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because of the management. The apartment itself was actually nice but the management was horrible and ruined our experience. My husband and I had scheduled a move in date months in advance. When we arrived, they were still fixing it up inside. They hurried out leaving a horrible paint job, screws and nails all over the carpeted areas, and many things not finished. When we moved in: -dishwasher didn't work -didn't have a dryer and then when they came with one later on, they left it uninstalled... -the dryer didn't even fit the area so we could close the doors to the laundry area -those doors had in fact been broken and were glued back together for a quick fix... -no AC and was never fixed... he came and literally said he didn't know how to fix it and left (twice) -closet doors not properly installed because they cut corners -all cabinet handles came off in kitchen and bathroom -half the outlets didn't work in our apartment -fireplace didn't work -heat didn't work -bathroom cabinet didn't even come with a handle -nails were left everywhere (so unsafe) which I was consistently stepping on and finding (I could have filled an entire mason jar) -paint job is horrible (and yet they advertise this as a pro) -bedroom window doesn't work at all, won't open They also charged us rent twice and then failed to pay us back in a timely manner. It took a month! They wouldn't return phone calls and I traveled for my job. When I finally came in to the office after coming straight from the airport, the manager was very rude about it. Management, You don't uphold your residents to the standard in which you make all residents agree to. False advertisements! -trash consistently in our hallway -marijuana being smoked and makes our apartment smell -dog pee by our front door consistently -soliciting often -felt unsafe because our neighbors got violant with each other and would scream in our hallway often My husband and I had to break our lease early because we accepted a job in Washington. We tried calling several times and had to come in the office a few times without being able to get a hold of the manager. She actually sat in her glass door office eating lunch and refused to come out and talk to us even though we were leaving in two days and needed to clear up the amount we owed and whether the company could wire money to help with the cost. It was 1:15pm and she told her front desk person who was only allowed to talk to her that she would call us... We moved out about a week ago and still haven't heard from her. She is rude, malicious, and extremely unprofessional. She caused us so much stress and never got anything done. She ignored us and refused to do her job. The front desk person changed 3 times over the course of our time there. I wish I could have talked to upper management about this horrible manager. I'm so thankful to never have to interact with this woman again. Horrible experience at these apartments. read more

Change in management is a messy and difficult process in any place. The change for us was awful and difficult to say the least. That being said, Lena (new manager for past 9 months) has changed that. She has done more than enough to try and fix all the problems the previous management left behind. And two days ago, she stopped mid lunch to open the door to give me a copy of my leasing agreement (my lawyer needed it asap) she was nice about it and even asked me how my day was. read more

Update I'm happy and please. I was able to talk to the manager and she waved my transfer fee and I was able to move into a new apartment. However there's still some issues with the apartment I feel they could have taken a little longer to make sure it was ready for moving. However they try to make sure that we had everything we needed and they are still trying to make sure whatever we need to get done. There has been issues with ownership therefore management has changed a few times so it's kind of hard for them to keep up but I can say that they have tried their best and management is from to answer my phone calls and any issues that I have. With the location the apartment the community and management improving on their work I would recommend this apartment community to my friends. I am glad my issues were resolved in a timely manner and I felt understood and they try to make this my home. read more

I currently live here & moved in about a 2 months ago. Management/ the leasing office has been nonresponsive about a safety concern I brought to their attention the day I moved in. The residents I have spoken with about there experiences have given overwhelmingly negative reviews. They place particular emphasis on the change in management though there were plenty with low opinions of the complex before that change. There seems to be a problem with understaffing in various areas. This is not a large complex but maintenance requests are either exceptionally high or worked at a very inefficient rate. One elderly individual never got help for her issue & simply had to pay to take care of it herself because of the lack of response from the leasing office. I will continue to update this review for the next 10 months or so that I live here. As it stands, I will not be renewing my lease and have been advising people to avoid this place. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. We have lived here for almost a year and it has been nothing but a nightmare. My boyfriend had emergency surgery and was not working, I understand that is not their problem but they did not show any compassion. Rent was still paid on time but they continued to charge us late fees. We did not fight it and just paid those on time as well to get it over with. They ended up charging our account twice and took twice what our actual rent is. They refunded what should not have been charged then turned around and posted a "small balance due" notice on our door a few days later for some change. They gave us the wrong amount to pay in the first place and now think it's okay to actually require us to get a money order (which will cost more than the actual amount due) for a balance that they fucked up on. They will not waive this ridiculous balance that is less than said cost of money order and threatened court fees if we don't pay it. This is not unusual for this complex in my opinion. Maintenance is horrible as well, if you put in a work order for something as simple as a screen on a window it will take more than a few weeks for them to finish it. They come in and do half ass jobs then you don't hear from them till they feel like coming back and give no notice to let you know they're coming. Neighbors are also loud and are in your business (which could happen anywhere but it's icing on the cake). We cannot wait to move out of this hell hole. read more

I lived at Arapahoe Club for a total of 5 years before moving out a couple months ago, and the management staff when I left is the best that's ever been there. I had a rocky start with them due to misunderstanding with a unit transfer I did right before they took over, but once Lena got there she straightened everything out for me. In fact, she has always taken care of any issues that arose while I was there. She genuinely cares for the tenants and does everything in her power to make things right for them. We would still live there had we not outgrown apartment living. Great community, great management! read more

This is the worst place ever. The management has no idea what they are doing. I moved out in February 2016 with all the proper notices and payments, it is now October 2016 and I am finding out they want to charge me an insane amount of money for moving out without a notice, which is not true. I signed a notice with the lady in the apartment. I had confidence in this place. Watch out for this apartment, they are one BIG HEADACHE!!!! Plus they will charge up upwards of 10k just to break your lease. read more
