I have tried on numerous accounts to post a review of this apartment complex IE Cushman and Wakefield and for some suspicious reason, EVERY SINGLE TIME MY REVIEW HAS BEEN REPORTED AND TAKEN DOWN. So interesting that all the positive reviews say the same thing, are anonymous with no other reviews posted for any other businesses, and there's only a few negative ones. Seems like they inflate their reviews, filter and report what they choose. Right on par for how this company operates.
I've lived here since September 2024, and it has been, without exaggeration, the worst living experience I've ever had. I was easily fooled by the staff and it seems on the outside like a really nice place to live but I promise you it is quite the opposite.
Constant disturbances include tenants screaming in parking lots and stairwells, parties and loud music at all hours, smoking everywhere, leaving dogs barking non-stop for hours, residents prop open their doors and hang out in the corridors like it's a dorm. Stairwells are disgusting. Residents AND managers allow their dogs to pee all over the sidewalks. No one picks up poop. Homeless individuals regularly trespass, vandalize the property, and harass residents. Almost weekly, they come to my door and try to get in. Shootings at the donut shop. Eggs have been thrown on cars, car windows smashed, and security is non-existent. People jumping off their balconies. Tenants leaving the gas grills on. This place feels more like a neglected public lot than what is advertised as a gated community. I've moved units and garages it has been so unbearable. The individuals that are allowed to live here are terrifying. I have never seen such disrespectful behavior.
Amenities are a joke. Valet trash never picks up, package delivery is a disaster. They said last year they'd have the hot tub and pool open. They didn't and said it wasn't their fault. When the pool did reopen, they closed it again weekly and cut the hours for a mural that looks like a kid did it. Couldn't have done this in the other 9 months you had it shut down? The hot tub has been broken for weeks.
VERY young children are left unattended in the parking lots, playing in cars and running through the streets. At the pool, it's the same story--toddlers in floaties, alone for an hour or more. I've had to call the police and management multiple times. Blaring music, glass bottles, chain smoking, screaming children, disruptive and drunk adults. It is not enjoyable at all and I have to pay an extra $100 for it a month.
My car has been broken into twice and tampered with three other times. One of the entrance gates rarely work, and people constantly block garage access despite paying an extra $175/month for it. When I politely asked someone not to block my garage, I was met with "F*** you you f******* b*****". I have been threatened and harassed numerous times on this property. I am terrified to walk to and from my apartment.
Management is ineffective. Emails are not returned. Complaints are dismissed and met with condescension. Amanda is rude and beyond unprofessional, she should be fired. Maria plays favorites, and upper management--especially Rachael Cooper--offers no real solutions and told me I made Amanda cry when I asked for accountability and change. Absolutely no one enforces or follows through on anything. Maintenance spends more time joyriding on golf carts listening to music than addressing actual issues.
This place is the furthest thing from "modern luxury." For OVER $2,200/month, I expected a safe, well-managed community--not a chaotic and dangerous environment. Might as well live on Colfax for cheaper. It's been nothing but a nightmare almost every single day -- since I moved in I've been counting the days until my lease ends. read more
