My first appointment was with Dr. Wiese to establish care, get x-rays, and set up my routine cleaning schedule. From the moment I walked in, I knew I'd made the right choice. What impressed me immediately was that they gave me a full tour of the practice during my first visit, something I'd never experienced at a dental office before! This transparency made me feel welcome and showed they have nothing to hide. The office is immaculate, and their sanitation practices are clearly taken seriously. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was professional, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Wiese was thorough and took time to explain each step of the process. The x-rays were done efficiently, and the initial exam was comprehensive without feeling rushed. They clearly prioritize preventive care and patient education. I had a bad experience about 16 years ago, and due to being uninsured for most of the intervening time, I haven't been to the dentist much. So I was pretty much terrified about my appointment today. The patient intake team at the front desk were amazing. They got all my insurance stuff put in, were amazingly friendly, and helped to put me at ease. From their interactions with other patients, I could tell that this office is staffed by people who both care about their patients and enjoy what they do. When I left, they also gave me an estimate for the doctors recommended treatments, and have sent things in for pre approval, so even before I left I had a game plan in hand. The technician who checked me in and took my xrays was wonderfully professional and kind. She explained everything she was doing, and got the xrays done very quickly. She also chatted with me while we waited the few minutes for the doctor to come in. It might sound silly, but it really helped to keep me calm in a stressful situation. Dr. Connolly was also very friendly and reassuring. The exam was quick, but it felt really thorough. He took measurements of my jaw and tested my range of motion, which I've never had done before at other dental appointments. When the exam was done, he explained everything to me, explained what he thinks is the best course of treatment, and assured me that things are ok. I know what I need to get done now, and I don't feel like I was scolded at all, or like I am being pressured to get work done that I don't need. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I am so profoundly relieved to have a dentist that I feel comfortable with. I will definitely recommend this office to everyone I know.
