My own personal make-up is to find methods of cleansing and/or detox which have almost zero massage involvement. Cataldi has provided me with two sessions and I come away feeling rejuvenated over 24 - 72 hours after procedures. I manage to go through seeing colors, images and feeling vibrations in an eyes-closed setting on a comfortable massage table. Reiki treatment isn't for everyone but it works for me. I sprang for a "journey" package which included a few things that I will outline below: 90 min Higher Realm CBD Massage - Dale was fantastic. They made sure I was comfortable and communicated well through the process. It was a bit more movement than I've experienced for a massage before but found it really quite enjoyable. Aura Photography Reading - Lex was kind and listened to what I had to say and used both that information and my photo to dive in deeper to my life. Obviously it's all a little "woo woo" but there are certainly learnings that can be taken from it. I love card readings because they help me critically think about things. She was great and I would love to come back and see if and how my reading changes in 6 months - 1 year. She seemed very knowledgable. Infrared Sauna - This was the part I wasn't very excited about but it was super pleasant. There are different options that change the temperature and the run time of the sauna. My cycle was for "pain relief" which I found to be hot but not to the sweating point. Included was a CBD gummy as well as a glass of kombucha. No way I can afford this on the regular, but I would totally return for special occasions or once a year as a lil treat.

The warm bed, the warm towels, the warm products, all great. She suggested a product for my face that I am going to try. My only complaint was that I was sick with a cold and I didn't know you have to cancel 24hours in advance or be penalized half the cost of the service. So I had to go. I was concerned for Valerie and didn't want her to get sick.

When learning who the new owner was I followed them on social media in hopes to connect. I was disappointed to quickly see their views/ethics/ and approach in opposition to YOHI's previous leadership. Posts that are abelist in opposition to being trauma informed. Post that spread right wing conspiracies about the Covid vaccine. Posts that condemn the black lives matter movement. I remember marching in the streets with the former owners asking for accountability of our police force for minority brothers and sisters in this city. It makes me very sad to say I can no longer give financially to this studio when it's owners ethic and my own are this far out alignment. I know many of the teachers are the same from before. This is no reflection on them and I wish them the best. I simply cannot support the space any longer
