The quality of the workmanship was beyond what we expected. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail.

I finally drove 30 minutes to the store on a Thursday to get an appointment. Sara was there and had an excuse, saying she was going to call me on Monday. Ummm... too busy to look at the scheduling calendar, make a call and get a date on the calendar with a client? Dale came to measure and sent a proposal that afternoon. After looking at the proposal, I noticed they had used my sister-in-law's address in Seattle as the ship to/install. I'm in Skagit County. I wrote back to Dale, copying Sara, asking them to switch the address to mine. Dale said he would, but that it would change the sales tax amount. Unsure why that would be an issue as it would come out in my favor... Skagit county sales tax is much less than King County. I am yet to receive the revised proposal even though I have called a few times requesting that it be done. Has been one month since Dale measured for carpeting. I can't imagine they are so busy that they can't get into a proposal and change the address and resend it in an email to me. The dismissive behavior by Sara and lack of follow up on both their parts has me incredibly disappointed. I will never shop at Great floors in Burlington. I suggest you don't either. Yes they can give you great prices but I don't think it's worth it in the long run. Many other places have wonderful flooring in the area and they can come very close to their prices.

I was told it would be 1-2 days to get a quote. It's been 7 days and have heard nothing. Now I have to start the process over. My project will be 3-4 weeks behind now. I guess they don't want business. I'm pissed!

Andys 5 Star Flooring - I just love this flooring...many thanks to Jose for his assistance and Francisco for the great install!

He was responsive, helpful and patient at every step. We were on an exceptionally tight timeline to get the new flooring installed before moving into our new house and Jose made it happen. The floor looks beautiful, even better than I had imagined. I'm finally getting around to writing this review about a month and a half after the work was completed, and I just got off the phone with Jose a few minutes ago. We thought a shut off valve had been covered by the flooring, but it turned out the installer had done skilled craftmanship to cover the valve while still leaving easy access to it. More kudos to Jose and 5 Star Flooring! I can't recommend them enough.

He was knowledgeable about the types of carpet and knew which would be best for my home to suit my needs now and in the future. We did have a competing bid from another local company who also had more inventory to choose from in-house but ultimately we chose Andy's 5 Star Flooring because of Jose. The crew that came to install worked so fast. They were all very polite and made sure to keep in touch as far as arrival time in the morning. We are very pleased with the finished product and look forward to hiring Jose, Francisco and his crew again in future projects.

He was fast to respond and set-up time to install that fit our schedule. The install required removal of 2 rooms of carpet, removal of large area of laminate that come with the house and removal of our master bedroom hardwood which my son and I installed. It was a large install and had to be done over a week or two. They cleaned every time they left so that we were not living in sawdust. Watching them get a perfect pattern match with the hardwood was amazing. After the initial job, he stretched the carpet that was in our theater (the only carpet left after this install). We looked at the theater and asked if he could come back to remove the carpet he just fixed and put hardwood in that room. That required buying 2 more boxes of wood. After he started the theater a couple weeks later, he found that the store gave us the wrong wood in one of the boxes. He offered to drive an hour to Everett to exchange the box. All in all, a fantastic installer.

He was very responsive to questions and changes in plans. I was out of state when the work was done, and he sent me a photo of the proposed finish to be sure it was what I wanted. I have a background in corporate vendor management specifically within trades, and a strong preference for spending money with local business. I eliminated two of the options based on a lack of response or follow-up to my inquiries, leaving two where I focused on quality of product, price, and installation. In the end, Andy's was able to provide a 15% better price for the exact same product, pad, and installation options. Installation took two days, the installers were wonderful people. Family and I couldn't be happier. I'll certainly recommend Andy's to my friends.

We went to Andy's 5 Star Flooring in Bothell due to a recommendation from a friend after a failed…read moreattempt for a quote with one of the big box stores. Our job was replacing flooring on the top floor of a split level that included removing tile in the entry and kitchen. We knew our flooring under the carpet was subpar from the carpet install 24 years prior and we expressed this to the salesman from Andy's several times. He assured us they could fix it. The measure, product choices and quote all went smoothly and we had an install date set for 1 month out in October. We started moving furniture downstairs in preparation. The day before the product delivery the sales rep from Andy's told us that it had not arrived. We were given a new install date in November but when the date arrived, same story. Now our install date was early December. The Sales Rep from Andy's apologized and added free furniture move due to the delays so we left our 4 pieces of leather furniture upstairs. Again, no product and install was set for Monday after Christmas. The initial install attempts had been scheduled for a 4 day install but this one was only for 3 and during a holiday week. On day of install, crew didn't show up until after 10am and left about 5pm. The install crew was short one person and had forgotten the tool to remove tile. Someone delivered it several hours later. Removing the tile created tons of dust. None of our furniture, countertops or appliances were covered. The installer complained constantly about our floor level and that he didn't have enough time to do a good job although the crew were very seldom here for a full 8 hours. The 3rd day they left at 4pm as it was New Year's Eve. They had to come back New Year's Day to complete the install. Bottom line we are happy with the final product result. We don't know if the problems of material delivery were in fact the product company or Andy's incompetence. We will place the problems with install on Andy's as they did not give the installers adequate time to do a good job. Especially during a holiday week. We were left with a HUGE mess to clean up with tile dust thick on our furniture, walls, appliances, kitchen, etc. Our free furniture moving for compensation was not performed. We also had to have the installer come back later to clean up glue that was smeared on the new flooring. Although the Andy's rep was communicative and easy to reach, I would not recommend Andy's.

The owner made several promises to fix the unfinished bits, while stating that it wasn't going to be possible to properly do so, but never did come back and complete the work. Three and a half years later, I'm having flooring done in another part of the house, and the flooring guy was quite easily able to address the issues with the carpet and floor installation that Fairhaven left unfinished. Yes, I had to hire someone else to finish the job. My mistake for paying before the job was 100% complete.

The initial bid was to remove the carpet and refinish the original wood floors while also installing new wood floors in the remaining living areas. Once they started the work, though, we found that the original floors had issues and there were several necessary support beams missing, all while I was coordinating a move from Seattle and trying to be out of storage and into the house by the end of May. Mike and his team bent over backwards to accommodate me - they fit me in around other jobs, worked on weekends, helped find someone to fix the beams on very short notice and met the original schedule - all at an affordable price. They were professional, did an excellent job of communicating where we were in the process and the floors are beautiful.
