She made no effort to make things right or apologize for us having a bad experience. Edited review: In 2019, I took my first born when he was 2 weeks old to Rebecca to get some shots for a birth announcement. We went in for a shoot, she said it would be a few hundred $ for the shoot. We didn't ask for it, but she really wanted to do a "classic" naked baby shoot with him asleep. We should have just said no thank you. In hindsight, this is obvious, but we ended up getting pee'd and poo'd on. We had to leave, as we didn't have any more clean clothes. She offered to have us back a week later, which was nice. We came back, and the baby was more cooperative. 3 weeks later, she has us come in and review the photos, they looked great! She wanted to sell us prints. We were only interested in the digitals, we should have asked about this before the shoot. We only found out that the digitals would be more than a thousand $ additional after the shoot. It left us feeling pretty sour because our baby was now 6 weeks old, and we had no choice but to pay her. The photos came out nice, and everyone loved the birth announcement, but I still think about the bad experience we had when I look at them. New: I've now hired professional photographers for all 3 of my babies, and I have context to be confident that there are better options elsewhere that include digital in their base price, and don't have a dated business model that assumes you are buying prints.

They were incredibly professional while also being so fun and easy to work with. Joel and the team worked seamlessly with our other vendors and even helped our photographer get some amazing shots for our photos. We absolutely love that JKapture Studios offers a documentary option, which allows us to truly relive our entire wedding day from getting ready in the morning all the way through our very last dance. They captured so many of the little moments and emotions that we might otherwise forget. Watching our video genuinely feels like we're transported back to our wedding day. We also really appreciated how flexible they were with the final documentary video. They allowed us to make edits, including changing the music choices and choosing which portions of our bridal party speeches to cut so we could make the video a little shorter. We absolutely love our wedding video from Legacy Films! We had not planned to have a videographer,…read morebut one came with the wedding package for our venue and we debated seeing if we could get a discount to drop it from the package. But many of our friends had told us that a wedding video was a good idea because it helps you relive the day and see parts you would not be able to otherwise, and they were absolutely right! Mark did a wonderful job of capturing not just our ceremony, but some sweet moments during our pre-wedding photos, the cocktail hour, toasts and our first dances, and even a little bit of the open dancing before the end of his contracted time. The day passes by in a total blur of joy, so we are so glad to have this video which captures the beauty and joy of the day, and we get to see even more than we actually experienced. With COVID wedding pivoting compounding wedding expenses, we didn't say yes to some extra things Mark offered, but would encourage anyone in early planning stages to plan for the extra expenses of 1) videographer coverage of everything (our contracted time didn't cover our cake cutting and the open dancing, which seemed fine in theory ahead of time but now I wish I had footage of those things) 2) go for the assistant videographer! some of my favorite things about watching the video were all the things i wouldn't have been able to experience like what was happening while the guys were getting ready or seeing people connect at the cocktail hour. there could have been so much more of this if I'd said yes to an assistant for part of the time (and so appreciate Mark running around and working as hard as he did to give us what we did have!) 3) a highlight video. while i am so glad we have a full hour and twenty minute film of our special day, that's not what most family members will want to watch. so having a short highlight video to share with those who cannot come, especially these days, would have been a nice addition. I can of course only speak to Mark's work on our wedding video, but I would assume he would do an amazing job on any of the project types Legacy Films offers since he has a great eye and vision for storytelling.
