I am a longtime customer of Elements Nail Spa. I have been coming here for over 15 years! It breaks my heart to see the negative reviews on Yelp so I wanted to do my part to support my favorite local place for manis, pedis, acrylics, gels, you name it. The owner, Julie, and her staff, Stacy and Ana, always treated me and my family/friends with respect. I've come in numerous times with my mom, other family members, girlfriends, etc. There are always polite and accommodating. As to the cleanliness, I have never ever had a problem. They always sanitize and use clean tools, I've personally seen them pull out fresh tool kits and take used tool kits to the special cleaning machine in the back. If you've had a bad experience here, I urge you to give them a second try. They are very friendly, their prices are very reasonable, and I've never had bad service. They always clean the pedicure stations after every use. Sterilizer jars are at every station as well as at the back sink and the Tools are always in the sterilizer. This was my first time trying Elements, and this place did not disappoint. I walked in on a Saturday, and at first when I asked for Gels they didn't think they would have the time, but totally squeezed me in. They were very efficient, great at managing multiple customers, and did a fantastic job on my nails. I got gels on my fingers, and a regular pedi and it was $55. Which I felt was pretty reasonable compared to other places I've gone in Ventura. Overall, clean, friendly and just what I was looking for. Would go again for sure. read more

Wow! Talk about customer service. Walked in to get a fill. There was only one person in the store getting her nails done. I told the woman working what I wanted and she said "We're busy now, sorry." No asking for me to wait or to make an appointment or anything just completely snubbed. No wonder there was only person there. Great first impression! I won't be back. read more

Heads up!! They don't sanitize their pedicure implements, i.e., toe nail clippers and other tools!! I went there for a pedi, was in the chair, feet soaking when i saw the technician rinse the tools from the pedi she had just finished and come towards me. When i asked her if she was going to disinfect them she got very annoyed stating "everybody does this way...you think they disinfect but they don't . Look I'll wash with soap. That's how all salons do". I was appalled. I asked her if CA law requires they disinfect she repeated what she previously stated. SCARY!! went home and poured alcohol and antibacterial soap on my feet and in between my toes. NASTY!! BEWARE!! read more

Love this place, clean, amazing pedicure chairs and the staff here are always great. I recommend Anna. I also love that you can pick out your own scented lotion for the massage, huge plus. I'm glad I was referred here, a little more expensive then the regular nail places but this place is worth every penny. read more

My friend and I walked in and said we wanted a manicure, and they immediately said "no, we're busy sorry." There was ONE person in there getting their toes done!!! They didn't even offer for us to come back later. They just simply said no. I was very disappointed because we had gift cards to there, but I don't even want to go back! read more

I went into Elements after being a long standing customer (in previous years). I hadn't been there in 3 years because I was always getting gift cards to the other salons in the area. I went back to Elements and was treated horribly. I made an appointment, but when I arrived I was told she didn't have time for anything but a polish change. I said "does that just mean I don't get the massage?" She said "yes". Okay great- that's perfectly okay! I just want pretty nails! Then she proceeded to paint my nails with gel polish without removing my cuticle?! I said, "Oh wait, you forgot the cuticle!" She said irritated "Yes, I told you just polish." And I said "Oh, well but then it won't look right." She said she'd finish painting them and then cut the cuticle. I said "but then it will look like it's grown out already with that space showing." Then she told me that she already applied the clear coat and said "what do you want to do?" I said "If you don't have time to remove the cuticle before painting, I'd rather just wait and come back when you do have time so that it lasts longer." She then VERY irritated with me removed the gel. As I left, neither her (Stacey) nor the owner (Julie) said good bye. I have NEVER been treated so terribly in a nail salon. You typically go there to relax and have a good time and come out with pretty nails. I felt totally rejected, with f*cked up nails, and left- ruined the whole rest of my day. Why was I treated so harshly? I did make an appointment. If they didn't have the time, why did they tell me to come in?? I will NEVER return to this nail salon and recommend that if you are looking for a relaxing time, to avoid this place. Maybe they just had a really bad day, but I can assure you they definitely ruined my day that day. read more

DO NOT GO HERE .......they do not clean there tools I got an infection along with fungus on my finger nails .....and they are RUDE only have one person working barely speaks English it was really bad I would not suggest this place to anyone STAY AWAY !!!!!!! I went here for the first time on my birthday due to a positive review from a coworker of my boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience! Due to her recommendation, I called about 2 hours ahead to let them know I was coming, which seems to have worked since they started working on my nails 5 minutes after I stopped in. I got a mani/pedi for a very reasonable $35. Both were well-done and still look good a week later. The lady working on me and another women working there both engaged me in conversation and were very friendly. I don't get my nails done very often, but I have found that it is difficult to find a reasonably priced-place that is clean, relaxing, and also does a great job! Another way I knew it was a good pick was that even though it was around noon on a Tuesday, they had 3-4 other customers in the shop, all of whom seemed to be regulars. I would definitely recommend Elements, and I plan on going back there myself! read more

I usually go to Cenutry Nails as there prices are very good. I failed to call ahead and wasnt able to get an appointment so I went to Elements. Very, nice, clean upscale place wth comfy spa chairs that are very realxing. I would reccomend, a little more expensive but you get what you pay for as it is a classy place and they ladies are all very sweet there. read more
