She was fantastic and gave just the right amount of pressure and was able to break up all of the tension in my neck I was totally relaxed at the end of the massage. Two stars because the massage itself was ok. I went in the other day for a one-hour massage. The problem was, was that it only lasted about 45 minutes. Do they count part of the massage getting undressed and dressed as part of the hour?? I always leave gratuity even if the service is not that good, but in this case, I left nothing. I was a member of elements awhile back. Had a therapist I would see frequently who was great. When he left, I didn't see the point in trying anyone else. I just had a baby in March and got a gift card to elements. So I figured--lets just go. My neck and back were a mess. I got on the table and told the therapist I wanted to focus on my neck and back. It was so pathetic! She worked on one area of my back for 30 minutes--and my rubbed my neck alittle-it was such a joke--my husband could have done a better job for free! The therapist was dry and not friendly and when I asked her if she liked what she did--she said "it's better than bar tending...." For her sake--she should go back to bartending--her martinis were probably better than her massage! read more

I have been going to Elements since they opened and I love it here! I have used various massage therapists and all are wonderful. I enjoy patronizing local businesses and I enjoy a place like this where you become friendly with staff and they know you. It has become a neighborhood joint to me, someplace where I feel comfortable and that my business is valued. As a member, you save money each month on your massage and any additional massage you get as well as gift cards can be purchased at the member price. I find that all of the receptionists here are always friendly and go out of their way to create a great environment. Though Elements is a chain, I find this to be much more professional and relaxing than many of the spas in the area (I particularly find Elizabeth Grady to be the biggest mistake you can make in the wellness and relaxing area.) I recommend Elements to all my friends and buy gift cards so that they can enjoy the same experience. I currently use Ossefils for my massage and I can say that hands down, he is the best massage therapist I have ever had. read more

This is an alright place if you want a no fuss massage. The place itself is nice, the rooms are relaxing. They have the whole environment thing down. Everyone is really nice, and they want you to get the most out of your experience. You can sign up for a membership and get $10 the price of the massage, which is a pretty good deal. I found the price to be too much if you aren't a member though. And i say this because every time i found a massage therapist I liked, I would see them a few times and really start working on things, and then they would no longer work there. I felt like I was constantly starting over with someone, and then I would have to try a few people out till i found someone with the right pressure and feel, and then they would be gone too. Id guess either they don't pay their staff well or people use it as a resume builder and go onto better places. If you aren't too picky about who gives you a massage, then its definitely worth it. If you would rather see the same person, then its not a good place for that. read more

I still cannot believe what happened at my massage visit. Right away I had a bad vibe about the massage therapist. She didn't want to dim the lights all the way, and she claimed that during the massage there might be pauses because she has a cough and needs to take sips of water. Not to mention the massage table was ice cold! Well there was a pause during my massage and then I heard my wallet fall to the ground. I looked up and she said oh I bumped into the chair and made your wallet fall. Right then I knew she stole my money, but was giving her the benefit of the doubt. Sure enough after the massage I looked inside my wallet and my money was missing. . Unfortunately, nothing could be done. I called the police because I was so upset that someone could do this at a place where you go to relax! Of course the therapist denied that she took the money and when the police searched her no money could be found. So I am now out a lot of money thanks to her! I can only hope what goes around comes around. I just wanted to make people aware of what happened. Unfortunately the place hired a very sketchy person. I hope that this woman gets fired so this does not happen to anyone else. Take it from me don't bring any thing of personal value into a massage salon, because you never know who could be so cruel to steal from someone. Terrible customer service. Was trying to pay and front staff was laughing about another client leaving and making fun of her. They closed everything up 30 minutes before they were suppose to be closed. I was offered a return massage since it was my first visit after I complained to the manager, which is not something I usually do, and now they are telling me that they don't have it on file and will not return my message. Don't waste your time or money here. Go somewhere more professional!!! read more

Found the massage table to be really uncomfortable and the therapist not at all pleasant. The room was stifling hot also. Not a pleasant experience. I paid for the visit upon entering the store and included a tip which I regret. They followed up with a customer satisfaction email to which I responded and informed them that I was not happy. Myself and my girlfriends have visited this establishment and had wonderful massages by Cassy and Patricia, they are truly wonderful at what they do. The front desk staff however I found to be alarming. The manager was overly plastic and told me I had a "great personality" after exchanging a few pleasantries with me, ( I found this odd and very phony ). After my massage I was rather brashly greeted by a girl with a horse voice who was very pushy and intent on selling me more massages, she also reaked of cigarette smoke, and I found her to be rude. Should have known from the beginning that this was not the right place for me. Came for my first massage only to be told that my therapist had just called in sick. I rescheduled and had good massages with one therapist, but then her schedule was changed. Next therapist left me in pain. Switched to a new therapist, but then she left. On to the next therapist - saw her twice and then she left with no notice. Now no availability at the time I'm free. Owner was of no help in trying to resolve my issues or address the horrific amout of staff turnover. After 5 different therapists I'm done -not going back. read more

I've had a lot of massages throughout the years and I can honestly say that this was the worst massage that I've ever had. I honestly kept wondering throughout it if the person was even licensed. Lots of stroking but no real massaging. She did not hit any pressure points, it was so bizarre! During intake, I asked her specifically to address my neck and it was barely touched, 1 minute tops. Since it was supposed to be a 90 minute massage, I kept waiting for her to eventually get at it. The massage ended abruptly and at that point I was just so confused and disappointed. It took about 10-12 minutes to get to the room, undress and wait for the masseuse (and I use this term lightly) to come in. The massage lasted for a little over 60 minutes and then I was left with another 12 minutes to get dressed. Lazy, bad service. I've gone to a different Elements location so I had minimal expectations. AVOID! read more

I had both a migraine headache and really bad neck and shoulder pain. I booked my massage with Mark-and it was literally the best massage I had ever had. He went right to the area that needed work, and at the end of the 55 minutes, I felt like a new person. My headache was gone (miracle) and my neck and shoulder felt much looser--it's a few days later and I am still feeling the results from the treatment. I am definitely going back. WARNING: All of the negative reviews are true! This place used to be a wonderful massage studio with great therapists and a friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, the ownership changed hands and it all went downhill from there. Many of the friendly, knowledgeable therapists and staff have left and have been replaced with a sub-par staff that appear as if they haven't been trained properly. The turnover is so bad that I no longer go there because they can't seem to hold on to anyone who's worth keeping. They don't care about pairing you with someone who's even comparable to the therapist you saw prior because none of the front desk staff or manager know the first thing about massage. They just want to put you with whomever is available, regardless of what style of massage they do, and they want your money monthly. I used to see wonderful people like Shannon, Ossefils and Alanna that disappeared without any explanation from the front desk at all! I even saw Jessica and liked her very much and now she's not there anymore either! I can't tell you how many times I've been called to have my appointment changed to someone else because my therapist mysteriously left! I definitely do not think it's a problem with the therapists, I believe it's the establishment that has to be driving these people away! Couple that with the fact that they harass you with multiple emails daily, begging you to take their appointments, because they aren't busy enough to keep afloat. The decor used to be lovely and classic looking with beautiful paintings. The last time I had an appointment, there was an awful looking panda picture hanging on the wall and ugly tree tapestries in the hallways. Definitely tacky. A-W-F-U-L experience. I received a gift certificate to this location from clients at work. I thought " wow I can't wait! I could really use a massage!". When I called to schedule my massage I booked 2( one for me and one for my boyfriend) I requested two females. No problem!....When we got there (two days after I called) the girl behind the desk was ahhhh ok....no " Hi welcome to elements" She just looked at me and said my name and asked us to fill out the forms. So we did. Then two male employees came out to greet us and told us they would be performing our massage.....I felt awkward and took the appointment anyways...my boyfriend did not and the girls behind the desk told him he still had to pay! With zero effort to accommodate our request of even try to get him in at a different time. ( now mind you...NO confirmation call was made from the time I called to book the appt until the time we arrived two days later).... He told them he was uncomfortable with the situation and that I had requested two females. The girl behind the desk told him that she had called me and confirmed with me for two male employees. WHICH THE CALL NEVER HAPPENED! LIE. So he simply waited for me to be done. While I was getting my massage the therapist made a comment to me about my tattoos...very unprofessional considering one is a portrait of my diseased father. " wow thats just freaky...I have never seen something like that before!" (I was mortified!) And he talked to me the ENTIRE 55 minutes. Not very relaxing....two days later I received an email confirming my appointment for two days prior! (so strange) Over all just a very poor experience and I will never return or recommend this place to anyone. read more
