If I could give less than one star I would. Prior to arriving at Green Spa, I called ahead to see…read moreif there were any available appointments. I was informed that there were and I notified them that I was only two minutes away and would be there shortly. Upon my arrival, I asked if they had enough time to do a 90-minute massage and they said yes, thus the agreement on a 90-minute massage. After I was led into a room, I was told by a lady that I needed to pay upfront. I inquired why and if it was their policy as I didn't see it written anywhere on their signs. I paid the $90 for the 90 minute service in addition to a $3 credit card processing fee. I had to demand a receipt and the lady at the register had an attitude and stated "don't worry about it" instructing me to go into the room. I refused to do so without a receipt. At that point I should have left, but I was in significant neck and back pain. Plus I had just paid $93 for service and I intended on getting the massage we agreed on. After getting my receipt, I went into the room, got undressed and lied on the table. The woman giving me the massage spent less than 5 minutes giving me a massage before another woman walked inside the room where they began to have a 5 minute conversation. I had my watch on and I was able to keep track of the times. Once they were finished the woman giving me a massage picked up her phone and began calling employees to confirm the time her employees should arrive the next day. I stated that my time should not be deducted as she wasting it. She went back to giving me a massage for several minutes before she left the room again for another 4 minutes to hold a conversation with the employees in the front room. Once she returned, she touched my back twice before she picked up her phone to call another employee. When she arrived back, she then proceeded to inform me that my 90 minute massage would be cut short to only 60- minutes and I needed to come back the next day because they were "busy". At that point I stated that it was unacceptable to treat their patrons in this manner. I paid for 90 minutes and now she was cutting it short after wasting my time. I requested a refund of my full $93 because I was fed up. She then attempted to get me to stay and I got off the table to get dressed. She walked out of the room and began to angrily speak on the phone. I walked out of the room fully dressed and once again demanded my full refund. She walked back into a dark back room and used a word that sounded particularly to "nigger" or "negro" several times. I was unable to decipher what she was saying. She came out of the room to tell me to wait before going back in the room. I demanded again that I wanted a complete refund and she came back out to lead me back into the room she failed to give me a massage in. I told her no and she reached out to me, attempting to steer me back into the room. I loudly told her not to touch me and told her again that I wanted my money back. This last time she obliged and retreated to front with me following behind her. She looked at the machine fumbling with it for a few seconds, while attempting to read a piece of paper that listed instructions for the credit card machine. She then proceeded to say she was going to give me cash. She went back to her purse and counted out $93, returned to the front and slammed it down on the counter. I collected the cash and informed her that I would be reporting "Green Spa" to the chamber of commerce, BBB, Yelp, and their business page on Google before walking out. I do not recommend this place at all. The employees are unprofessional and thieves. They will boldly attempt to steal your money without providing service to you. If you value service as a consumer, DO NOT spend your money here. I'm now itching all over my body and I believe it's because they do not change the covers on the massage table. Save your money and time by not coming here. I've reported them to the Bedford Chamber of commerce and BBB.

I really don't know how to rate this place. I arrived for my massage and they insisted on payment…read morefirst. I have never been asked to pay first and the one massage place I read about that did that (a different one) people complained they didn't get their full time. So I walked out. They speak no English.

At…read morethat point, I had spent a year dealing with increasingly chronic, severe, systemic, neurological symptoms with no end in sight from my primary care to ENT, neurologists, and neurotologists. I had gone through many tests with not much in terms of answers and my new neurologist suggested I try acupuncture. I researched providers near me that accepted my insurance and chose Pleasant Wellness because Julia's expertise matched well with my needs. She is thorough, gentle in her approach and treatment, and very knowledgeable about both Eastern and Western medicine and how they can be used simultaneously. Everyone who works here is warm and welcoming. Acupuncture from Julia, along with massage therapy and cupping has been the only thing that has provided any relief for my symptoms! It's almost magical how she knows what is going on in your body even before you speak. I highly recommend coming to this business if you are experiencing any pain and cannot speak more highly of the services provided. Julia has also been flexible enough to fit me into her schedule when I needed more care suddenly.
