If you have any underlying health issues, do not go to his location. The owner does not wear a mask and does not disclose whether any of his staff are vaccinated. He obviously has no concern for health or public safety during a global pandemic and will not take any responsibility. This is irresponsible and reckless behavior that puts his guests and staff's well being at risk. I asked for an explanation and he said it is against AZ State law to disclose the personal health or vaccine status of his employees. Either way, in my opinion, it is completely irresponsible for a business where intimate and personal contact is required for the service to be rendered. I expressed my disappointment and requested an immediate refund of all future services and will never return to this location. He was someone short, rue, and would not issue a refund but provided me with gift cards that I will use at other location where I will confirm that management supports transparency around public health issues. Of note, I have also observed this manager being short with staff on several occasions and even guests. Again, if your health and safety is important, I encourage you to call other large chain massage organizations locations or providers who happily will disclose the vaccination status of their staff and not act defensive or irresponsible. I feel sorry for the wonderful masseurs that are employed at this location and trust you, the guest and end user, will make the right decision for yourself and your loved ones and select a provider that respects and honors public health during this global pandemic, especially in a state that is under 55% vaccinated. This location was extremely clean and the people who work you were very nice and helpful. Massage therapist was a true professional and really went out of her way to make sure that she helped me with my pain.. and I must say I was really grateful that she was able to release of my pain for at least a few hours. Buyer Beware. This place will scam you. 1st time there received an excellent massage from ANA, she is awesome! Lady at the front tried selling me there monthly message club where you prepay for the messages. I said no thanks. She proceeded to tell me about it and said she would give me a free massage if I joined. I always get 90 min messages so I ask her specifically "you will give me a free 90 min message if I join?" she said yes. so I joined. Come back few weeks later to get my message. ANA was awesome again! go to leave and they tell me I owe them 40.00. I explained I was told my 1st one was free. The manager Tori was condescending and said we don't do that. I told her the girl that was sitting right next to her assured me you do so she could sign me up. Again Tori was dismissive and condescending stating "the other girl was not a manager so it doesn't matter what she said" I paid the 40.00. I could care less about 40 bucks but it angered me to be subject of bait and switch. When I got home I called and again spoke to Tori. I told her i didn't appreciate the bait and switch and condescending attitude and I wanted to cancel my membership. She informed me I would have to come in and sign a paper. I ask her to email it to me and she told me she can't do that. Their membership is harder to cancel than a gym membership! I ask her to have the owner Sam Humphry call me when he gets back in. I hope he is a better business person than those working for him. Not holding my breath on a call from him. I don't care that the lady in from may have made a mistake, it happens. I don't care about 40.00 ANA's message was worth 3 x that. I don't appreciate being talked down to by a self important message store manager, or the complete lack of sincere apology. 1st time getting a massage here 1st time getting a Prenatal massage (currently in 3rd trimester pregnancy) Service was for today, 7/18/19 at 6pm 90 min massage I called in this afternoon to schedule my appt, it was great that they were able to take me in this evening. Appointment was at 6pm but I arrived at 5:45pm as they suggested so I could fill out paperwork. Finished filling up the paperwork and the staff in the front said the massage therapist will be out in 7 minutes bc my appt didn't start til 6pm. That totally made sense. My massage therapist got me in at 6 and started asking me questions of where it's ok to be massaged, which she should've already known bc I filled that out in the paper work they provided. She talked for a few minutes explaining stuff to me. I was hoping we just get started right away and not waste any of my minutes especially bc the questions she asked me were in that paper work I filled out. That 7 minutes while I was waiting in the lobby after I filled out the paper work, she should've used those 7 minutes to review what I had filled out instead of wasting my time. After she explained things, I quickly got undressed and then waited for her to come back. She didn't take too long to come back, thank goodness. I didn't want to shorten my time even more. Like I said, this was for a Prenatal Massage, so there was a hole in the table for my belly to sink in. It was NOT comfortable. I laid down and put my belly in that hole, but there was a bar in the middle of it. My stomach was touching the bar and it kind of hurt. I told her about it and she was nice about it and put a towel over it to make it more comfortable. The only problem was that during the massage while I was laying there face down, I kept worrying if my baby/belly was ok. I couldn't stop thinking about it and really hoping I wasn't hurting my baby bc of that bar. After, she said I could lay on my side. The only problem was that the hole was still there, so then I was sinking in. Mind you, I've never done a Prenatal massage and I didn't know if that was normal. I told her I was uncomfortable with the hole while laying on my side, so then she mentioned she can put it back together to be a "regular" bed. This took about 1-2 minutes to put back. She kind of struggled putting it back. So yeah, I wasn't relaxed at all until she had me go on my side. Once I got on my side, I was able to relax and enjoy my massage bc I didn't have to worry about that bar anymore. The girl was nice, she asked me twice if the pressure was ok. She did a pretty good job except that I was shorted on time which was very irritating. When she told me I was done, I got up, checked the time and it was 7:21. I paid for a 90 minute MASSAGE. The massage should've been done at 730. We entered the room right at 6, but it didn't start at 6 bc of all her explanations plus me undressing and then to finish the massage at 7:21...that does not add up to a 90 min massage. I looked up reviews before writing this one, and the manager said that it's 5 min for start and 5 min in the end that's for consultation and undressing. So be prepared that they remove 10 minutes of your massage time. Mine was a little more than 10 minutes that I got shorted. Basically, it's false advertisement and they should really inform EVERYONE of this before booking the appointment. So, if you get a 30 min massage you only get 20 min of it. I didn't complain while I was there and really should've. Once I got home, I was still so upset about it (obviously I still am) so I called and told them my frustrations. They apologized. I told her to just forward the message to her manager. Pros: They got me in same day. Offered me a cup of water when I got in. Provided me a bottle of water after the massage Cons: VERY uncomfortable bed for a Prenatal Massage bc for some reason there was a bar in that hole and my belly was resting on that bar. It felt like a metal bar. I couldn't see it bc it was covered by a sheet plus once I told my massage therapist about it, she put a towel to soften it up. It was still quite scary bc when I was being massaged, I was scared that the pressure was making it worse and my belly was being pushed more on that bar. Shorted on time Paperwork and "consultation" in the room was repetitive Should inform clients during booking that they reduce at least 10 minutes of their massaging time due to consultation and undressing. This may be their practice but I have gone to quite a places where they don't that. They provide the whole massage time. Note to manager: Pls inform your team to let clients know of the ACTUAL massage time. Consultation and undressing should not be considered as massage time. If I was informed of this and the bed was comfortable, I would've likely gone back. As a result of my experience today, I will not be coming back. Honestly, wish your business does well. Please inform clients ahead of time about shorter time and pls look into that table read more

They charged me after I cancelled my membership. I was physically in their location, filled out the paperwork and they guaranteed I would NOT incur anymore charges. And 1.5 weeks later, they charged my card. I am furious. This goes hand in hand with their total LACK of customer service. Btw, this after I had the most horrendous "massage" (if you can call it a massage) by Lisa. I actually stopped the massage and left in the middle of it, it was that awful. I've been in a chatty mood the past few appointments and loved our conversations during my visits. Just entering this spa was instantly calm and serene, a nice surprise right off Scottsdale Road! I was greeted by Sam, who happens to be the manager. Soooo impressed with this place! The Yelp reviews steered me right! Now I have to add my .02 to help others find this gem, too. Note: Be sure and mention the offer for $30 off for first-timers (for a 60 minute massage, it's $40 off for the 90 minute). I came here on vacation and was desperately in need of getting many months of stress and tightness out of my body. The long plane flight over didn't help on top of that. Even before I stepped into this place, I was impressed with the professionalism, friendliness and helpful attitude of the staff on the phone each time I called. Then when I arrived, that just continued. That says a lot to me about what's going on behind the scenes of a place, when staff in the front are like that. I loved the quiet, soothing atmosphere and cleanliness of the rooms. I couldn't hear a peep from other therapists or clients. Big thumbs up for that. The therapist I had was Nicole. PEOPLE. Let me tell you: Nicole isn't playing around. I thought I knew what a very strong, deep massage was. Nope, no clue! Now I do. If you want a cookie-cutter, only-to-relax-as-you-listen-to-Enya massage, this isn't your gal. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but Nicole gets in there and works it all out and it's no joke. She gets results. I was so impressed with her technique, professionalism and generous and helpful attitude, I ended up getting two MORE massages from her! Each was 2 hours long. So that's basically all I did for my vacation, go and see Nicole every couple of days and get turned into mush, lol!!! I wasn't the same getting back on the plane, I can tell you that. Each time, I spent the extra $10 to get the lavender calming oil sachet, and I recommend that. I didn't find that to be too strong, and it didn't go away after 5 minutes but lasted the whole massage. They have different ones you can choose from, depending on the effect you're after (energizing, relaxing, etc.). Next time I'll try the Himalayan hot salt stones as an plus up. Supposed to be very helpful for loosening up the muscles even more. Note: Be sure and ask about the complimentary upgrades if you pre-book two massages. Lastly, I think other reviews mentioned feeling pressured about membership or shorted on time; but I didn't experience that at all. I'm returning here in a few months, and no question, I will be visiting this location of Elements Massage and Nicole again. The location couldn't be more convenient, either. My wife found this place via a deal on Groupon for a 90 minute couples massage. Lauren, who assisted my wife with the appointment was professional, so helpful and very friendly. We had a couples massage, with Senia and Nicole. Nicole was amazing. In addition to the 90 minutes I added the salt stone which was so much better than just the hot stones. She had the most consistent pressure throughout the massage and worked on all the areas I identified. I recommend her to anyone looking for strong hands. My wife had Senia. In addition to her 90 minutes she had the salt stone and cupping. Senia was also amazing and worked on all her areas as well. Worst customer service experience ever- which I was sad about because my husband and I were hoping to get a membership if I had a good experience. Made an appointment for 1:30 pm and was on my way for my massage when they call me and tell me that my appointment was at 1:00 pm. I assure them that since I had an appointment somewhere else at noon, I specifically made it for 1:30. They rudely told me that there was nothing I could do and I would be charged a $45 cancellation fee!! (That is the highest cancellation fee I have ever heard of.) I tried to politely ask if there was any other appointments or anything I could do and the lady started arguing with me about how she has proof that they sent me an email with the time (I double checked my email and never received any such email.) This was such a bummer because we went to the one in Glendale for a long time and loved it. I would have considered rebooking had the receptionist not treated me like garbage. I finally just hung up because I was getting absolutely nowhere with her. I still can't believe I am being charged for their mistake. Bad business practices, especially for a repeat customer. Update: The owner reached out to me and told me that since they have a record of emailing me (which I still never received) they will not be offering me a reschedule nor refunding me. Just wanted to share my experience with the owner Sam. First, I tried to cancel my membership and was haggled by employees to pause it instead. When I politely declined and just asked to cancel they informed me that I would still be charged for the upcoming month because the contract states the first and last month is required. So I was confused as to why that is if I'm not going to use it. Sam, the "owner" piped up and said that's part of the agreement but he was speaking from the back office while eavesdropping the entire conversation with the front desk employee. I could tell both employees were under immense stress and pressure to keep clients on the books. When I said I'll take it up with my bank if you charge me, Sam quickly had his employee print me the contract and throw it in my face to show to my bank. I was blown away how rude this experience and how awkward this made me feel. I also wanted to mention that Sam never introduced himself but cowardly left to the back office and not show his face during the entire ordeal. If you are looking for a comfortable place to go and get a massage, THIS IS NOT IT. This was just overall a bad experience not to mention that my massages have often been LESS THAN mediocre. I can only vouch for Tommy who was a good masseuse but even he would cut my massages about 10 mins short. Not worth it in my opinion and you can find any masseuses who will appreciate your business and not make your session or experience feel rushed or stressful. read more

I had a fabulous and relaxing massage on an uncomfortable bed and when I brought it to the attention of the receptionist, this man came out from behind a door to ask me "why didn't you tell your masseuse, he could have fixed it" yadda yadda. He was not listening to what I was saying and turned around and left me out front seemingly to go examine the room or reprimand my fabulous masseuse. It's like he never got any training in customer service! Why would you leave a dissatisfied client out front and make her feel a fool? I've loved getting massages from Deana - this past visit I tried cupping with her as she'd suggested it the previous visit and I loved it. There is an additional small cost to adding cupping to your massage but it's worth it when it releases the tension much quicker than a normal massage.
