I have been a member for over a year. I have tried many massage locations. By far the best value is at Elements. They do not charge extra for deep tissue and the price/ min is much better value when you book for over an hour. I have always had a positive experience and felt relaxed after each massage. If they have availibilty, sometimes I extend them. Ask for Heather, Victoria, Ashley... Jacky at the front desk has always been patient and helped me reschedule as long as I give a 24 hour notice. I discovered Elements Massage and noted that they happened to have same-day availability online for the day I was looking. Luna was my massage therapist. She was very professional and asked me different questions about preferences and comfort levels throughout the session. She was also pleasant to speak with, but also allowed silence and relaxation throughout the session. I really appreciated her attunement and demeanor. Best massage I have received! Elements is clean, professional, and extremely helpful! I had Crystal, who is just an angel. She asked me so many questions and made sure that I was comfortable. She was extremely tentative to requests and what I needed. She even talked with me after about what she noticed and daily tips to use for my chronic issues. Everything in the room was adjustable (music, lights, bed temperature). I have seriously never had a massage that was SO tailored to ME! and I am not even a member. I'm not usually one to give negative reviews, as a matter of fact, I'd rather give no review than to leave a negative one however, this business practice left me very frustrated! During COVID-19, 2020, I received quite a few emails from local businesses offering discounts on their products and services of which Elements was one. In an effort to support local business and ease my aching back pain I purchased the package listed below. Once restrictions were lifted, I called the business to set up my first of TWO massage appointments. My package very clearly states "Buy a 90 minute massage and get a 60 minute massage for free" (see photo). This was my deciding factor in purchasing. I first tried to schedule via their online portal after receiving an email about openings. This was unsuccessful. I then called and was greeted by a very pleasant voice. I explained to her that I needed to book a 90 minute massage and expressed my preference for a female therapist that was certified in deep pressure. So far, so good. I then explained that I had purchased a package online for a 90 minute with the addition of a 60 minute and there was silence on the other end. When I finally received a response I was asked if this was a gift card? I told her that it was an offer that came through an email sent by them. Again, silence, then "Hmmm......was it Groupon? Because we don't take Groupon". I told her that I had a copy of my receipt where I paid $129.00 and the offer code that I could bring in. We got the appointment scheduled and agreed I'd bring my receipt. I had to cancel my first appointment due to catching a bug from my grandchildren and running a low grade fever. This was done well within the 24 hour window that they require. I called back after two weeks and rescheduled. I just had my appointment last week and, overall, it was a pleasant experience. The facility was very clean, the staff friendly upon arrival and my therapist was wonderful! When checking out I presented my paid receipt to the receptionist and she processed my tip for my therapist and then handed me my receipt. She asked if I wanted to schedule again and I said yes, reminding her that I should still have a 60 minute session per my offer code. She quietly scheduled me telling me I was "all set". Just to be absolutely sure that I was getting what I paid for, I requested a print out confirming my promised 60 minute free session. She took a few minutes, couldn't figure it out and then went to the back to get someone to help her figure it out. When the person came out from the back she informed me that this was a Groupon offer and that it expired 90 days after purchase and that they couldn't honor it. But, wait a minute......I thought you didn't take Groupon!?! And the offer came through an email to me directly from Elements Massage!!! Extremely frustrating!!!! I didn't make a fuss, as that's not generally in my nature, but I did tell them that I was frustrated because the only reason I purchased their offer was because of the two for one deal they were offering! One last little observation. As I was waiting for them to straighten things out, I had ample time to read the current offers on their board. Their non-member price for a 60 minute massage is $99 and if you're a member it's $69. There is another franchise in our area and they are offering a non-member intro rate of $69 and their member rate is $59. Huge difference over time. Think I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I became a member a few months ago and highly recommend Elements Massage. I have suffered from migraines for years and issues with my neck. After seeing Heather for the last few months my migraines have greatly decreased and the range in my neck has improved. More than the three months of PT I had last year. I can't think of a better way to enjoy self-care than my monthly massages. I've had them off and on over the years and must say HEATHER is the BEST and I'm happy I tried Elements Massage. Policies are more important than you. - I purchased a 1-hour massage session online the evening of Tuesday April 2nd. I then followed the instructions on the confirmation form and called the store to schedule my appointment for that evening. The woman answering the phone ( I believe her name is Brittany, unless multiple people answer the phone) told me there were no available appointments that night, but could be scheduled for the next morning. I needed an appointment that night, so I called the Brentwood location and was able to book an appointment for that night. I then called the Murfreesboro location back and said I needed to cancel my appointment for the next day since I was able to book at the Brentwood location. I asked if I could use the same online payment and she said no, so I asked for a refund of the $69 I paid online, and she said that I was all set. Thursday, April 18th, I called to ask why my refund never processed and Brittany said she would call me back after consulting co-workers and the owner. She then called me back and told me that no one would have told me I could get a refund for a "gift card", and furthermore the original "gift card" could have been redeemed at the Brentwood location since they are connected in a network. Unfortunately, I never intended on purchasing a "gift card" for a future massage, only for the appointment that day when I was in need of one. - The owner called this morning, but if I have any advice, get everything in writing. Who knows if what they say over the phone will hold up later. - The company mission statement: "The Elements Way® is the only way to truly experience customized, personalized massage therapy." In direct contradiction, it would seem your company has provided me with a very mass-produced, conventional and disappointing excuse for massage therapy. Enjoy your steadfast policy. While the massage therapist was great and her techniques were soothing. I just could not fully relax, the room was a bit chilly and the music was awful. It sounded like it was skipping and i am not one to relax to piano music as it isn't a smooth instrument but plucky. There was no way to change it either. Pros: One of the best massages by Lydia. I even dozed off several times--something I have never done in a massage session. She used just enough pressure and made sure to ask if I needed more or less a couple times during the session. Nice quiet music that was very relaxing. Heated bed as well! Cons: Room was a tad bit chilly. Not bad, and it didn't really detract from the experience. Price is higher than my normal place (I had a gift card for this visit). I went to get a massage at elements massage a couple of weeks ago, and it was a great experience. The front reception office is very welcoming with relaxing music and pleasant décor. Even before you go back, you start to feel relaxed. My massage therapist came out to walk me back. Luna was my massage therapist. She was very professional and asked lots of questions to make sure she addressed any concerns or issues I was having. She was very disciplined in how she performed the massage, like she had been giving massages for a very long time. After the massage, the therapist came in and presented me with some options for the future i appreciated that they did not try to pressure me into anything. I just had the best massage I've ever been given last night!! Shaina was outstanding and worked so hard on all of my knots, but not in a way that made me miserable. I could tell how much she wanted to get the pain out of my back and she was determined to work it all out. It was a great spa experience for me (unlike another reviewer). I really liked this place when I first went. I had a good massage and signed up for the $49 a month plan which got me one massage a month. I had to cancel due to some unfortunate medical expenses. I was told by the owner that I would be able to keep my prepaid massages I hadn't used yet. No mention of expiration. This week I called and scheduled because I have one massage left. I was told it expired after 60 days. I only canceled about 4 months ago...we are still in the same year! Not one person told me this. In fact I was told the opposite. The girl on the phone said she would get with the current owner who was new and see if she could reinstate that since I was told different. The girl just called me back and said that they cannot because it's in their policy and it's not their fault that I wasn't told. I feel like this is an unfair business practice. They took my money and I received zero service for it. How is that right? Do not go here if you cannot stick to a regimented schedule of when you can get a massage. Even if this is in small print in their contract, they shouldn't have told me that I could keep them and then not honor it. read more

Overall, my experience was a good one. I was able to book a couple's massage at the last minute for a Saturday afternoon. My massage therapist (Brittany M.) was great. My massage was invigorating and relaxing, no complaints. My boyfriend stated that his massage therapist had great technique but that it was very hard for him to fully relax and enjoy the experience as a whole because of the foul odor coming out of her mouth. read more

Tried Elements yesterday when I was experiencing a lot of back pain. I called on a Saturday morning asking if they has any cancellations or were able to work me in, fully expecting them to say no and be booked, but they let me choose from two open slots. The place was nice, clean and new, and the staff was really friendly. I wasn't explained or told the options for the different massages (including times, style, etc.) and ended up just telling the therapist what my problems were and she designed accordingly. It was worth the price overall and I felt amazing leaving, but was not conducive to the spa like environment that I like, so I may try a few more places. read more
