POOR customer service. I have booked massages many times in my life and I am NOT likely to intentionally miss a massage appointment. I will say they called on Saturday and Sunday and did not leave a message although Meghan, a manager, said they did. They did not. I did have an email confirmation...who checks email?? If they had left a message or texted me I would not have been charged a $55 cancellation fee. When I was booking the massage I went through the whole process and something happened in the end that indicated it did not go through and I would have to start again. If it's difficult it is an indication to me that something is wrong with their system and I am not going to go through the whole process again. Much to my dismay I find out 3 days later that they have charged me. I would not want anyone else to be treated this poorly. Lazy business owners who can't even leave a message or text in this day and age are not who I prefer to spend my money with. Proceed with caution! read more

Bad service !! I called them at 11.00 to let them know I will be late and the lady at the front desk said it's fine. She did not say that the massage therapist has a back to back appointment otherwise I would have canceled the appnm right there. I had to take my son to er and it took longer so I was late as anticipated. The front desk told me I will be charged fully and will be give only 30 min of message because I was 30 Min late. I asked them why didn't they tell me upfront when I called them in the morning to give them a heads up I could have either cancelled the appnm or made arrangements for my husband to take my son out. They also donot have any massage table meant for prenatal messages. The most ridiculous part was after telling them on face about the horrible service and their problem they didnot apologize and actually shamelessly asked for a tip when I was checking out. Sung was amazing! I haven't felt like jello after a massage in a long time but...wow...was he incredible. He performed this kneading type motion on my back that was so relaxing I almost feel asleep. I had a massage the other day and it wasn't quite what I expected. The male therapist who was "certified" to give a prenatal massage seemed completely uncomfortable the whole time. He asked me if I had gotten one before and asked what I did? I said, "umm I laid on my side..." and so that's what he did too. We also ended 6 minutes early (I know that doesn't seem like a big deal, but when you pay for 60 minutes...) and after he ended he covered up the clock on the way out??? After my very negative experience dealing with the front desk staff at the Allen location of Elements, particularly Lizzy, who is unused to having to listen to valid customer complaints, I need to warn potential customers of trying to use Groupon coupons for their massages . Elements uses Groupons to keep their therapists busy ( according to the owner himself) but makes no money on them and there is a discrepancy between the Groupon fine print and the owner's acceptance of Groupon terms that leaves customers in the middle unable to use their purchases. I did not remember having been to that location and found myself not able to use my Groupon for the service purchased because I was not a new customer . I could not return the purchase to Groupon because I was beyond the 30 day return period. Most of all though, I want to complain about their horrible front desk personnel. read more

I am a long time massage lover but I had never signed up to become a regular member until I came to Elements Massage Allen. I have always suffered from neck, shoulders and lower back pain and two different people referred me to Jesus for a 1 1/2-hour massage. It was one of the best, if not The Best massage I've ever had! The combination of the deeper pressure with his caring touch enabled the release of the muscle tension without being too uncomfortable. Jesus is a very compassionate and intuitive MT and he is able to understand the body and know exactly how to approach the different issues. After the massage, being pain-free, extremely relaxed and grateful, I couldn't wait to book my next session. There was no pressure from the front office attendant to get me to sign up for a membership. All she did was getting me set up so I could go home and not distract me from my relaxed state. She gave me a brochure in case I wanted to learn more about the membership and only answered my questions. The fact that Elements has such an easy membership without having to sign a contract was all that I needed to close the deal and book my next session. Upon arriving at the business the receptionist was very polite and helpful, offering me water and being attentive to my needs. I have to say that Jamie is the best massage therapist I have ever worked with!!!! Her technique was very professional and relaxing. I love the trick she used with the towels to get the oil off of my feet so I wouldn't slide around in my sandals. She really was in tune with my personality. Not happy! I use Groupon all the time with no problems. Bought two for this business. Called to make an appointment and was told they do not honor Groupons on Saturday and Sunday. Told her that should have been disclosed on the offer. With an attitude she said it states that restrictions apply. I am in Irving Monday thru Friday. Had I known that, I would not have purchased them. She did not care. Asked for a Friday appointment she said there is a $10.00 up charge for Friday's. So basically the Groupon is only good for Monday thru Thursday's. Fine, made a 9am appt for today Friday the 30th with Jaime. Drive the 40 minutes to find out there is a Jaime but I have no appointment. No one else can help me. No manager available and no one knows who worked yesterday. I called Groupon and filed a complaint and got my money back. Do not do business with this company. I get massages all the time and have never had an experience like this before. read more
