Ended up with a person who just moved here from California and started working for James. This person did not set the sprinkler system as I had asked... set it totally different. But told me he had set it as I asked and I did not find out he hadn't until the next day when the system ran. I am a Widow ... so now my water bill is sky high... and they told me to set the ck on my porch - each day for 3 days I was told he would come by and pick it up -- he never did. While his hired person was here he told me adamantly that he did not believe in God ... etc. That is a scary statement for most of us... especially widows alone! I finally took the check in off the porch ... and James called the police and complained about me. I am also an Ordained Reverend... This is pretty bad stuff they have put me through right after losing my husband. James was aware that my husband had passed... Think Twice... on this one. Very BAD experience for me... I told him I was going to call the police so he called them immediately after I said that to him... Told them a story to make me the widow/Reverend sound like the bad Guy -- I could take a polygraph to this and pass!

The lady on the phone made it very clear that we had to be home for the back flow test as they needed access to the basement. They made a scheduling error and refused to correct their mistake leaving me in a scramble to get this done. I would strongly recommend a different company.

It crushed some of my garden there and did surface damage to my wooden fence. My neighbor had told me she was having her tree trimmed but not that they would use my yard. They did not come and tell me they were doing this and I found out as the limbs were crashing down. My neighbor was apologetic but it is this company that is at fault. No one knocked on my door or asked and made a mess of my yard. They cleaned the big limbs up, however they left lots of twigs and debris. Second year dogwood, died third year Japanese Maple has major fungal issues I hadn't noticed when purchasing. Now it needs to be removed and my Soil is contaminated. We did not over water. We follow directions exactly. We have now wasted $800 dollars at least! Every single tree we have planted has either died shortly after or had serious fungal issues. Never ever again will we purchase and trees from Spokane Boys. We have a beautiful lush and thriving garden otherwise with multiple trees from other retailers with no issue and have been growers for two decades. We are not the problem. So buyer beware. The trees are beautiful but unfortunately never lasted longer than one year. The Garden decorations, fountains and birdbaths are nice and have lasted. So it's not a complete waste.

Outside of our own issues with this company, I've had countless complaints of similar issues from our neighbors and friends in other neighborhoods close by. We moved into a new development and the builder contracted with this company. And we found out from one of their previous employees that they take all of their young trainees and tell them to lay the sprinkler heads right off the concrete crease before the sod's put down to cut corners as there is no digging required. The problem with that is the back spray hits the concrete and you're literally are watering the concrete. Ours was cracked and had to be repaired because of this. Typical irrigation you install the sprinkler line/head a foot to 2 feet in. This allows for proper maintenance like edging work, and preventing damage to the concrete ,as well as creating a reasonable gap for fencing to be put in without damaging the irrigation system ,let alone damaged sprinkler heads. They didn't not adjust the sprinkles they installed, they were watering the street. We had to have multiple heads moved. They planted trees that are very toxic to dogs that and we had to pull out a replace them. They did a poor excuse of a job laying sod with gaps and holes over 4inches everywhere. It's one giant lumpy tripping hazard .Every landscape company and yard maintenance company we have had out could not help pointing how awful it looked and gaps/ holes when walking. We got Sod ourselves and still are having to cut and patch a year later. We had them out multi times because they couldn't get the job done right the first time. It's not work the headache to work with them, even if it was under warranty we decided to do it ourselves or hire another company to save time and stress.

Waited 4 months for estimates. Then the bills started coming. They claimed to have provided mowing and maintenance for two bare dirt lots with no grass to mow. Then they started sending undesirable people into my business to try and strong arm collections. When that didn't work they threatened a lien on the property and sent the bill to a low end collection service. They have billed me about $1000 now and provided no service. A "family" business. Brother and sister I think but they operate like the mob. Be careful. Be very careful.
