I would give this business zero stars if possible. I contacted them for services on my AC unit, referred via HSA Home Warranty. They came for the service call on a Wednesday. Today, fully 8 days later, they still have not replied to the warranty company, I have no AC, and my family has moved out of the house while I stay here with my animals in the heat. They have told me every day that they will respond, but today, on day 8, they told me the person who handles my case is on vacation, and they cannot help. I have been lied to daily for days, absolutely no contact except when I call them, and they cannot function when someone goes on vacation. I have never experienced this level dysfunction. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The man (Zach George) who sold us a BRAND NEW unit completely lied and scammed his way through our house. Now we find out that he quit and no one from the company will come fix the mistakes he made. The brand new unit we paid over 12k for stopped working a few days after install and somehow our energy bill has GONE UP despite us being on vacation for part of the month. I scheduled and prepaid for annual service of my two heaters. It took three and a half weeks to get this appointment. The morning of the scheduled appointment I was informed they would not be able to make it and they could reschedule for two to four weeks later. They were kind enough to set something up for one week later. I wasted a day off for this long earlier scheduled appointment. No offer of relief for my missed time at work. This was a AHS appointment so I guess there was more money to be made with other jobs. read more

The commercial business I work for has used Element since 2014. They did great service on our units during that time. So, I had an issue with home AC called Element. Before the tech even looked at the issue, he stated " You have to replace your unit". I ask him did he know how to repair. In which he finally did search for the problem. Then he states it will cost half of the replacement cost to fix the problem. I choose to get another company to do the repairs for half the quoted cost from Element. (NOTE they do not break our the invoice to see parts and labor cost) Now, this week one of our units at work is down. They decided to call Element. SHOCKER, Element stated "have to replace the unit." The owners are angry, and so disappointed. Something has changed with this company. If you want over priced repairs or a new unit, this may be the company for you. Sad to see. read more

I just recently bought my first home and had Element come out to perform the Unit Inspection. The technician Mario went through the system very throughly and told me exactly everything that was wrong with the unit. He then went over if I was interested in a repair vs replacement as the system was older and in rough shape. He went over the options and explained what a system replacement vs the repair would mean and how it might be more beneficial for a system replacement. He was very informative and professional. I decided to go with a system replacement and the entire process with Todd was great. He gave me different options in different price points to compare. Everything is very affordable and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great company. read more

I had been with Raleigh Co. for 40 years . Due to problems with them, I switched to Element. From the front office to the folks in the field , they all get along with each other well. They communicate well with all employess as a total team. Their service is fantastic. The front office will not get you left hanging. I was charged diagnose fees without diagnosing. I asked them to add Freon but got charged with diagnoses too. the amount of Freon was quite abnormal. My bill went to more than 1300. Regretted I did not check the review here before calling them. I think there are some issues with all the positive reviews on google. It is quite interesting all those positive reviews. I tried to give 0 stars but yelp does not go that low. Overpriced, poor customer service, incompetent from top to bottom... They actually made my unit worse than it already was and admitted they did not know how to fix problem... The only solution was a new unit according to Element. They have friendly staff on the phone for scheduling, knowledgeable technicians that give you an exact break down of the price to repair. I am surprised they do not have a Yelp site, but I am going to review anyway. They were referred by a friend at church who was blown away by the professionalism and knowledge. I had called a different HVAC company about my heat going out last week and they said I needed to replace my unit (it is older). THe price seemed steep, so sought a second bid. Little did I know I would get much better. It turns out I did not need another bid, because their technician was able to replace a part and get it working again. $375 is a heck of a lot cheaper than the $6500 I was quoted by the bigger company. I had a gas leak in my crawl space and was told by the gas company that I would need to hire a plumber to seal it so the gas could be turned back on. I had no idea where to go. I called several places and explained the problem. One came out a Only to say they couldn't fix it. Another came out and said it would be a 29 dollar fee plus a 176 dollar "diagnostic" fee and the repair would be anywhere from 300 to 1100 dollars even though he knew the gas company isolated the leak and there was no pipe to repair... I sent him away without paying his 29 dollar fee just to show up. I called ESG and got a call back quickly from Keith . He listened to the problem and told me someone could be out between 8 and 8:30 the next day and that they had an 89 dollar fee and the repair may be up to 200 . Norm came the next day at 8:30. He was polite and immediately asked where the range and crawl space was. He had the repair done in 20 minutes and turned the gas back on and relit my pilot lights. Total charge was 149 dollars. Absolute fantastic and fair service! What a relief! read more
