I Loved this hotel. I stayed for a staycation and it was Super clean and cute. They were really busy the weekend I stayed so they did not clean up the room during my 2 night stay which sucked because that was what I was getting away for. They have everything you need from a grill, gym, heated outdoor pool and even bikes. The breakfast bar was really healthy and yummy. I will be staying this weekend for another staycation and will make sure my room is cleaned this time. Hopefully by then I can update my review to 5 stars. read more

We checked in around 1:00AM and it was quick and easy. We had a room on the first floor with a pool view. The hotel room was a studio and the kitchen was a wonderful addition to our stay. It was equipped with pots/pans, eating utensils and cups. There was also popcorn and coffee available. The room had a dining area and living room with a pull-out couch that comfortably sleeps two. The room did not have bedding for the pull-out so we had to call the front desk. Bedding arrived within minutes but without pillows. The king size bed was amazing - one of the most comfortable beds we've had in a hotel! We didn't hear any guests from inside our room so the walls seem to keep noise in. I believe the gym is open 24 hours but we didn't have a chance to use it. There is a complimentary breakfast but hot foods were not offered. The options were bagels with cream cheese, tangerines, pastries, yogurt, juice and coffee. The staff was friendly, especially the ladies in the morning. My family will absolutely be back! read more

Holy cow, the Element in Palmdale is absolutely beautiful! William at the front desk was super, super nice and helpful. There was another young lady who was amazing but sadly I didn't get her name. Their continental breakfast included a yogurt bar with assorted toppings, coffee, pastries, etc. My room had a glass shower enclosure, full kitchen and super fast wireless (at no additional charge). They're also pet friendly with NO hidden fees and have a saline poo! By far the best hotel I've ever encountered. read more

Unpleasant stay! Smoke coming from the room adjoined mine at 6am reported multiple times to staff and because inspection of hall did not show this I was made to feel as if it weren't so. It wasn't until several requests and hours later a gentleman was sent to my room his comment being "o yeah I smell it a little bit under the cologne". You don't say? I requested a room change as a result and was denied. Ivory from housekeeping made it a point to intervene as I consulted reception unnecessarily saying "we're not going to change your room sorry". When contacted by the assistant manager Adrian via phone call to my room I was spoken down to and offered nothing more than comp points that will never be utilized for I would never patronize this hotel again! When I encountered Adrian in person at the front desk she was rude uptight high strung as if ready for action had I said the wrong thing so I made sure my manners were minded. When asked why she were addressing me so abrasively she said" this conversation is over go to your room pack your stuff and leave". Upon check out the hotel made it a point to up-charge me for incidentals to spite me. When I contacted them regarding the charges I was denied contact with the general manger three times. When contact with the general manager Michelle Marquez was finally made after fourth attempt she too were rude and abrasive no mention of my complaint only her insistence of refusal to refund my incidentals. No proof of the charge afforded me upon request I was told " youre welcome to dispute the charges with your credit card company and we will provide proof to them". Michelle wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. Unbeknownst to her I were audio recording the call and when mentioned mid conversation she continued on her tyrant with no regard. Michelle remained unprofessional and unbothered ending the call by hanging up in my face! My room was cleaned mediocre hair everywhere including clogging the shower drain. There's no linen for sofa sleeper ( which had pink questionable stains) in room you must call for it. The floors were not walkable without covering due to debris that soiled my family and I's feet. The hotel acoustics were poor and my party and I were subjected to the guest overhead's noise and stomping. The hotel location was prime. There's plenty of free parking. Breakfast included a variety of choices ( not enough bowls!) and full gym which I appreciated. The hotels decor chic upscale and to be admired. Too bad the hotel staff does not compliment that. read more

If IKEA had a hotel, this would be it. But I say that in a complimentary way - everything was very modern and clean. Classy without being ostentatious. A complimentary breakfast with lots of healthy choices (including a very cool Greek yogurt bar) and a chef who cooks your breakfast to order (if you want a hot breakfast.) Free bicycles available for use by guests. Spacious exercise room. Best of all - they allow dogs and do not even charge an extra pet fee. Would definitely stay here again. read more

I have got to say this has been one of the most ridiculous responses to the Covid pandemic ever. I like that they no longer having housekeeping coming into your room every day, which was overkill for a place like this, but the closing down of self-service breakfast was asinine. Now all of us that show up at 6 AM need to gaggle up to wait for the ULTRA slo-mo desk clerk to pour us individual coffees, and dole out the breakfast things from Costco. I'm sure they're doing the best they can, but not sure how this approach has kept any of us more safe. Seems to me that we could keep more space between us by having multiple coffee stations set up around the lobby instead of cramming us all into the area to wait for the desk clerk to serve us. It is an incredibly congested area that they have now confined us too. Oh, and by the way, they have still charged the same per night that they did pre-pandemic. Great deal! read more

It's ok just to crash for a night. Modern looking rooms yet the AC is pretty loud. Nothing too spectacular. No room service. Breakfast is basically cereal and milk. I usually stay at the Embassy next door that is a bit pricier. One plus is the reception staff. They're very friendly and informative. Oh yes, the outside pool is pretty neat too. read more

Inviting and comfortable lobby, complimentary alcohol today, most likely available for purchase along with waters and snacks behind the check in desk. The rooms are compact yet modern and comfortable. They feature a kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge, utensils and plates and cups. 50" Television, VTAC air conditioning and heating system which is ultra quiet for your sleep. Heavenly beds, which I can't wait to try out, and all the modern amenities you need for your stay. Hotel includes a good size fitness center and outdoor fire pit. read more

Lovely hotel when staying in Palmdale with nice clean rooms that would get 5 stars. However, one of the draws for us at the hotel are the Tesla chargers, of which there are several around the property. Of the 3 when we arrived in the afternoon we discovered 2 of the spots were occupied by other cars despite signage that they were charging stations. Similar in the morning when wanting to charge - 1 was occupied by charging cars and 2 by large trucks. Although I suspect considering that these were "big boy" trucks that parked in the location - this may have more to do with the owners of the cars than anything. Yet, if the hotel has these chargers and they come up as Tesla destination chargers - they should do more to provide actual use. Major trip challenge as a result which would have made this a 5 star. read more

I had booked the executive suite and it was well equipped... the suite was very nice for the event.... only disappointment I had was the refrigerator didn't work majority of the time.... called for maintenance to come he came and the problem still continued.... the fridge didn't start working until the very next morning. I was happily surprised to find this hotel in Palmdale. I stayed here one night for work. The receptionist was pleasant, the decor is hybrid corporate-hipster but pleasantly so, there was almond butter and gluten free pastries at the free breakfast. There were cool wooden geometric lighting feature things near the elevator. I didn't get a chance to check out the pool but it looked nice from afar. The bed was comfy and clean and white and the kitchenette was modern and seemed to have dishes and cookware (I didn't cook anything). The location is kind of not beautiful, it is in back of a giant mall sort of? But this might be the best hotel in the area. read more

Our family stays in Palmdale every year in March. This was our first time. Our room had a full kitchen, which was so helpful with 2 kids. Our room was clean and the decor pleasant. Truth be told, my stay at Element Palmdale was relaxing. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. That was until I accidentally left my toiletries and personal pillow in the room upon checkout. As an evacuee of the Woolsey Fire that has destroyed hundreds of homes in the LA area, I went to Palmdale to escape the smoke and flames, looking for a little peace where I could find it. Pretty disappointing then to find out housekeeping and the management staff not only didn't return my things, but lied and told me they weren't there at all. I've called the past 3 days only to have my calls deflected by members of the management staff. This is not how a business is run. You don't steal your guests things because they made a mistake a left them in a room. I realize this isn't likely to fix anything but beware if you do decide to stay here. Make sure you have everything with you when you check out because Westin and Element Palmdale have no interest in returning your things. read more

My husband and I plus our two animals had the pleasure of staying here for about a month while we were in the middle of a relocation and looking for housing in the area. The hotel is very modern, has great amenities, and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The kitchen in our extended stay room had all the amenities we could possibly need and tons of storage for anything we had with us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room itself felt incredibly spacious. The four of us never felt crowded in the room. The location of this is also fantastic - close enough to the highway without getting any of the noise and no more than five minutes away from any store you could need. What really set this hotel above and beyond, though, was the service. The entire staff was always so accommodating to us and our needs and incredibly friendly, particularly Samantha and Aubriana. They were so personable, very responsive to any questions we had, and knew us by name by the time we left. The two of them were the epitome of customer service. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone in need of lodging. read more

It doesn't matter how nice the hotel is when the management team is nothing but horrible. I was one of the unfortunate reservations that were overbooked. In the afternoon of the day of arrival, I received an email out of the nowhere saying that I was relocated to another hotel nearby because of the overbooking of their system. I was furious from the fact that there was no attempt to try to understand my trip purpose. The fact that we were part of a larger group with two other families and wanted to stay together, my family was forced to stay elsewhere, pretty much ruined the entire purpose of our stay! After some googling, I understand that overbooking does happen but a simple attempt to understand your guest better before 'walking' them base on member status!! Maybe there are other guests who would love and willing to take upgrade at another hotel or what not that I don't really care at all! Another fact that there was no manager on duty during such a busy weekend is absolutely unacceptable! Very poor management. Very disappointing. read more

Best Breakfast in a hotel! We had a wonderful stay and beautiful and clean facility. We would definitely come back when in town.

My family from Sacramento booked a room under my cousin, due to an emergency she was not able to come. She called in advance to notify that she will not be present and asked if it was okay for the family to still show up with payment even if she wasn't there she was told it wouldn't be a problem. Keep in mind they're coming from Sacramento not local at all. When we arrive to get them checked in we are told that we may not be able to get checked in and they will call management. She comes back 10 minutes later after wasting our time and gathering our information she tells us that she spoke to management (which could be a lie because no actual manager was present and she disappeared in the back and came back out) and that management said no reservations could be transferred and they were booked for the night. First of all that makes no sense that such a reputable hotel has no supervisor or manager present. Second of all it makes no sense to tell a family that drove hours from Sacramento "I'm sorry you were misinformed" and if you can't transfer the reservation that is fine we were still willing to pay but all of a sudden there's no more rooms? Either this hotel isn't built around hospitality or the two ladies at the front desk are in dire need of hospitality training. I work for Landry's one of the largest and most reputable hospitality and entertainment companies nationwide and let me tell you neither myself, colleagues, family or friends will be staying at this hotel because it is disheartening to see no hospitality or help given to a family once again driving down from Sacramento. Shame on the two ladies at the front desk getting there names wasn't worth my time they won't last in this industry better yet shouldn't be allowed to continue. read more

We booked our room on January 3 (23 days early) for a stay on January 26. The hotel had ample rooms available when we booked. Received a message on January 25 requesting I call the hotel to confirm the reservation. I did and was told my room was confirmed. On the day of my family's arrival (several hours from home), we received an e-mail saying the hotel would not honor our reservation due to maintenance issues. Several other members of our group that booked after me had their rooms honored. The assistant manager told me that my reservation was chosen not to be honored because I booked through Expedia and there was nothing they could do for me. After speaking in circles about "maintenance issues", he claimed there were plumbing problems throughout the hotel and many rooms could not be rented. All other hotels in the area were booked due to the large soccer tournament in the area. When hotel staff were asked about "plumbing issues", they had no clue what the Assistant Manager was talking about. Hotel staff later admitted the hotel was overbooked and it's easiest to not honor guests that book through 3rd party booking agencies (i.e. Expedia) because the stranded people become the problem of the 3rd party. The Assistant Manager confirmed as much by saying the hotel would do nothing to help and we should contact Expedia with our problems. Hours from home with 2 young children, we scrambled for the next several hours trying to find accommodations for the night. If you're considering using Element Palmdale for work stays or sports tournaments, I strongly suggest you consider an alternate hotel as the Element management were neither honest nor helpful. read more
