Had a 3 week trip out here and Element became my home away from home. The staff, especially Dina were all such a joy to interact with! Stayed here last wednesday, i always wanted to stay because it was eco-friendly. We had two nice employees help us Nicholas and Daenna. i believe her name was, and both were cool. I enjoyed our room nicely, not too big but it was nice. I liked the amenties like the refridge microwave etc. The best thing was the happy hour around 530. The young lady was great they had wine, beer, and some snacks. The only downfall was the loud alarm that scared us at like 3 or 4am. But we had a good time and they had hot and cold breakfast, which was a plus!! read more

My stay here basically suited my needs. The lobby was spacious and provided areas to relax and socialize away from my room. There's one large screen tv and couches and tables. Out by the pool there is a firepit. My room was clean, but a few things were frustrating. The shower door wouldn't stay shut. I couldn't wash the shampoo/conditioner out of my hair, so bring your own. And my microwave wasn't working day one. But they did fix it the following day. They provide a breakfast with a nice variety of food; fruit, cereal, juice, milk, coffee, yogurt bar, toast, eggs and a protein. Happy hour is 5:30-7 pm with wine, beer and appetizers. There's a gym that my coworkers used with lighter weights and treadmills, etc. Check in and out was quick and the employees were pleasant. Lastly, there are a lot of stores and food choices within just a couple miles. read more

Do everything you can do not to stay here. We had the worst experience ever. They covered it up with fancy breakfast, but it is disgusting. They don't clean anything, the air conditioning will keep you up all night because it doesn't work, and they will not help you on the other end. 06.20.2019 Stayed a night here with the family after we picked up Little O unexpectedly from her grandparents' house. Modern, sleek and clean eco-friendly hotel in the middle of Palmdale. This room was a two queen bed room. It reminded me of a small studio because of the open plan and everything in one room. The walk in showers had dispensers mounted in the wall with shampoo/conditioner and body wash. They only small bottle they left for you was for body lotion. There was a huge closet with ironing board one one side, a safe and drawers on the other side. The small refrigerator had a freezer on top and refrigerator on the bottom. Eating utensils, plates, glasses and cooking pots/pans and utensils were provided. There was a small table that could fit four comfortably to eat on, which doubles as your work desk when it's not meal time. A couch was located between the sleeping area and kitchen area. I don't remember if it was a sofa bed or not. It was so late when we arrived we just wanted to sleep. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable! I wish we could've slept in longer. The only ISSUE we had was the fan/air conditioner could not be turned down to low (I tried several time) so I just turned it off. Then it got warm in the room. ‍ There were no instructions how to work/use the thermostat, which makes it even more difficult for a guest who wants to adjust it. A Continental Breakfast was complementary. The only warm food available was the French toast station and the warmer with mini vegetable frittatas. My hubby was sad there wasn't any type of breakfast meat. We would definitely come back and stay. We didn't get to experience the evening happy hour, fitness room, fire pit or swimming pool. read more

I think for the area this is a great hotel. Modern decor and appeared to be recently updated. Very pleasant staff. Check in was easy and hassle free. I did not encounter any issues with homeless in the parking lot like other reviews stated. I will say some ignorant guests decided to throw their fries in the hotel fire pit and left a mess. Prior to booking a hotel reservation for work, I have a small list of qualifications that the hotel must meet. The hotel must be near a 24 Hour Fitness (for obvious reasons), it must have its own parking (valet-only parking is a pain), and it must have well-insulated rooms (who wants to be awakened by the sound of loud coughing and passing of gas by your next door "neighbor"). After seeing that this hotel met those requirements (and just so happens to be a product of the Westin), I quickly booked my reservation. When I arrived I was warmly greeted by guest service representative Abrienna (please forgive me for misspelling her name). Abrienna gave me a detailed rundown of the hotel's amenities, and also suggested making use of the bonfire and the "Social hour (an evening engagement that includes complimentary drinks)." When I walked into my room I was impressed by the minimalist styling of the room. The room had faux hardwood, wall shelving that held the coffee maker & kitchenware, electrically-powered shades, and a spotless restroom (unfortunately this is not a standard for all hotels). Back in my days of being a bachelor, I wish that I had a bachelor pad that mirrored the blueprint of this room! The only thing missing from this hotel is an on-site restaurant. The hotel has a kitchen that prepares a free continental breakfast, but there is no dine-in option beyond breakfast. However, all hope is not lost! The hotel is located in close proximity to a ton of restaurants and retail stores (I was able to pick up some travel essentials from the nearby Target). I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Element Palmdale. Maybe I'm a bit odd, but I appreciate this diet version of the Westin. It's like a Westin without the stuffiness and complexities that sometimes taint plush hotels. I have the Element Palmdale bookmarked for all of my future trips to the Lancaster area! read more

We came here to get away from the insanity that is central LA overnight to check out some properties. THIS HOTEL IS WONDERFUL!!!!! It was easy check in, outstanding cleanliness and had absolutely anything we could possibly want. Full sized fridge, pots and pans, a stove and a kitchen sink. 4.5 Best value, cleanest, most modern and most stylish hotel in the Palmdale/Lancaster area. It's head and shoulders above anything else in the area. Kind, friendly service and great amenities like a 24-hour coffee/tea bar, free healthy (ish) breakfast choices, craft beer happy hour, Tesla chargers. I originally gravitated toward this hotel just because of the chargers (there are so few in the area) but the hotel itself won me over. To begin, the front desk person made me swipe FOUR credit cards before one went through. She was distracted and talking during 2 of them and never once accepted that it could've been an issue on their end. I even suggested that maybe the first one was locked by my bank because I was traveling. I'm typing this from the Embassy Suite across the street that checked me in within 5 mins and immediately accepted the same first credit card the Element Palmdale front desk person swore was not working. That was something I could get past. We went up to our room. As we were settling in we saw MULTIPLE cockroaches and immediately went downstairs to cancel our room. We were told to email the photos to the front desk and received no apologies or hospitality of any degree, despite it being late and having a child and two elders with me. Pros- Tesla charging station. You sold me at that!!! No parking fees. I now look at those type of fees when I stay at hotels prior to making my choices now. Happy hour with a great Chardonnay and Cabernet from France in a cool way of serving them! 5:30-7 M-F Breakfast free each morning. Yes, you read that correctly Not a ton of items but definitely enough to start your day. Two local brewery beers on tape that also tasted good Free cheeses and artisan bread Large screen TV that we watched the World Series Christine was great at check in. She greeted me nicely. Very courteous Fire pit outside Gym on site Small convenience store HUGE hotel rooms with couch, frig, coffee maker, sink, etc. Bed was very comfortable Great size bathroom Cons- No water bottles in the room. Stayed from 01/04-01/06/2024. We used to live in Palmdale and visit frequently to see family and friends. There was a great rate on this hotel and so glad we stayed (we usually stay in the Hilton). This is a fairly new property, well done relaxed mid-century modern vibe. Very friendly staff. Great free breakfast spread and lots of room to enjoy. Free and ample parking. The rooms are enormous, comfortable and super clean. My 16 year old wants to order the same pillows for his room. Full sized refrigerator, cooktop, microwave and all the actual cooking supplies you need, including a wine decanter and glasses! The fire pit area was popular (very cold when we were there) and beautiful. The pool area was beautiful but too cold to use (this time!). This hotel is behind several stores including Spouts, Barnes and Noble, Target. It's walking distance to several restaurants, the Antelope Valley Mall and Trader Joe's. Very near the freeway . Hello, So, let me start by saying staff for the most part are respectable and very accommodating but there were just some things I could not oversee. My wife and I began check in, no problem, delightful staff. Very welcoming, clean on the inside and well kept. Hearing the amenities had me excited for a little get away from what we're regularly used to. Once we get to the room, this is when things began unfolding. As we are unpacking and I decide, let me turn on the TV to have some background noise in the mean time we unpack. I turn on the TV and I find that it had been completely smashed. We immediately begin packing our things and I go to tell staff. Although shocked, surprisingly? They delightfully had me arranged to another room. Upon second glance to make sure not to leave anything behind, I also found the lampshades had been burned and have ash all around them. I let them know. After this, I felt extremely skeptical about the place. We move to our other room and as I go to open the top drawer in the closet and the bottom drawer's face falls out and completely stubs my toe. No biggie, let's pop it back in place and make the best of what time we have. I go go check the pans, rusted. Oh well, plenty of food options around, no biggie. After that, I unpack my soaps and I find the soaps in the bathrooms are completely empty, without use. Oh well that's why I pack my own. It just seem like my stay was a mild inconvenience after inconvenience. We had a 2 night stay booked, but after sleeping in that bed for one night. My skin began breaking the heck out. I thought, hey you know what, it's probably my body not use to the detergents they use, I'll take Benadryl and call it a day. That's when I woke up in the morning with the biggest I don't know what the hell to call it bite on the back of my leg that HURTT. It's been about a week and I had to expel the liquid from it via safety pin surgery. Just a big ol' freaking bite that's been rubbing on the inside of my jeans driving me crazy all freaking week. Anyways, we are getting ready to check out and as my wife and I are putting on clothes from getting out the shower, we hear a knock and I say "don't come in we're changing". 3 seconds later, door just starts opening up, we start getting into panic mode. She starts repeating "we're changing" over and over all the while I am holding back the urge to just let the bottle up anger that has been fueling up all weekend just unleash and possibly catch an assault case. But maintenance got the message and closed the door. I guess all I'm writing today is that, either you guys aren't equipped to handle what you guys have to or I just had a bad run. Everyone was really cool and nice but what a complete train wreck my stay was. I wanted to take a vacation in my hometown to see what it is like for other when they visit but, now I see why people don't want to visit. Picked this place, as Starwood is now with Marriott and we wanted to check this one out for the first time. Love this place! Parking lot was right outside, checking in was so smooth, got hot coffee in a mug before going to the room, the swimming pool are outside is so small but very nice and uses salt water instead of chlorine! The room was so beautiful and modern with TV that connects to Netflix, a cute kitchen area with a very nice medium-size fridge, mini microwave, sink and everything, the beds are so comfy, and the bathroom is shower only but it's all new Kohler. Palmdale, anyone? Probably not. But if life (or, more likely, a biz trip) takes you to the Lancaster/Palmdale area, look no further. This brand-new hotel is a hit! Literally brand new. It was a huge empty lot, behind the Palmdale Target, just a year ago. For a SPG guy like me (now acquired by Marriott), Element is the newest addition to the Sheraton, Westin, W, Four Points family. Use or earn points here. I believe it's the first Element in California, and I hope that more follow. Right off the 14 Freeway with endless free parking, a sleek lobby greets you for check-in. All rooms are suites with full kitchens (fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, paper towels ... everything). Huge televisions you can use to watch your own Netflix or their million channels. Beds and bedding are Westin quality. Seriously, can I live here? Icing on cake: (1) wine, craft beer and cheese reception every evening (free); and (2) hot and cold breakfast in the morning (also free). Though billed as a lower budget property, it's just beautiful. Lazy guy's pool and serviceable gym for the many Edwards Air Force Base contractors in residence. Target and the mall adjoin this centrally located property. If you must stay in Palmdale, look no further. read more

We have stayed here a few times a year for the last couple years when we visit family, but it has gone seriously downhill. The parking lot is full of garbage, gum on the sidewalks, etc. and there is poop everywhere...along the walkway, in the back dog area, in the stairwells...everywhere. The carpet in the hallways is full of stains and other gunk. The rooms have also taken a hit. There are stains on the sheets, tape residue on our floor, and crumbs along the edge of the kitchen that didn't come from us and no body wash in the shower. Only after calling down on our 3rd day, after our room was never cleaned, did we find out the policy during covid is that your room only gets cleaned every four days. Beyond the issue of no one telling us that, they only give you supplies for one day. When we got here we had one washcloth, three bath towels for four people, one kitchen towel, one coffee pod and one packet of dishwasher soap. And after four days with four people sharing the same bathroom and kitchen, it's gross...with no cleaning supplies available. And then there is no filtered water, no breakfast, and the gym and pool are closed. I get the covid challenge, we are all feeling it, but there is no health reason to only clean rooms every four days. The hotel is sold out so its not as if the budget doesn't allow for them to keep cleaning staff. We will look at other options for our next trip. read more

Our stay here was a nightmare to begin with. Upon arrival our room was not ready at check in time we had to wait several hours with our small children who grew impatient quite quickly. When our room was ready it was not the room we had originally booked so it did not accommodate our family & the staff had a "well you get what you get" type of attitude. The restroom had some disgusting "mess" on the shower wall. There were no clean towels. To top it off the hotel is infested with cockroaches!!!! The staff was not friendly or welcoming whatsoever. This was an unexpected surprise. We stayed here over thanksgiving. I stayed with my mom to cook dinner and he checked in for us. I arrived late around 9pm. This is the nicest/trendiest hotel Palmdale has. So glad I stayed here! The free Breakfast was pretty decent. I heard they offer free wine and beer reception in the evening. The room had all the basic necessities that were thoughtfully designed. I am such a hotel fan and I loved looking at the budget friendly details they designed here. Very nice hotel. I travel to Palmdale 2 weeks out of the month. I have been staying at the Element for the past few months. It is bright and clean. I like the hotel. I don't like the fact that the fans in all of the bathroom is always on. This fan should be on a timer or the switch with the light. In some rooms it is loud and annoying. It is hard too sleep with the fan noise. On 2 of my stays they double billed me. I made the mistake of booking a pre paid room and when we checked in and they asked for a credit card we gave them our company card. when I checked out it was billed to the company card and when I looked at my personal credit card statement it was billed there too. It has been a month now and I still have not received a credit. read more
