Bedroom in 712. King suite style room
Jen O.

I've stayed at a few Element hotels and really enjoy the amenities they offer. They are typically bright and airy and have more of a eco-friendly millennial vibe. They feel very homey as well. This one in Doral isn't my favorite; it's a bit older and could use some paint touch ups etc. but I'd still pick an Element over most other options. There is (always) a filtered water tap in the kitchen, in addition to the regular water faucet, which is awesome. Bed is comfortable. Room was clean. Water pressure was great. Shower was really large in 712 at least. One elevator was down, so it took a while to get up/down. Another customer told me he stayed here a few weeks ago and the other elevator was down so perhaps they have some larger repair issues, but one was working at all times during my stay so it wasn't much of a problem. Parking was easy and the lot felt very safe. You can use the pool at the Aloft (another Marriott property) next door. All of the staff members I met during my stay, from the front desk to the omelette station guy to the housekeepers were all very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was pretty good! There was waffles one day and egg white omelettes another, in addition to cereals, muffins, toast, frittatas, coffee and juices. I missed the evening receptions each night sadly. There is also an attached restaurant but it's only open Wednesday to Saturday I believe. The gym at this location is wonderful. Two treadmills weren't working one morning but there are ellipticals, bikes, a handful of weight machines, yoga mats, yoga balls, and a weight rack. It's more robust that most other hotels I've stayed at. I will very likely stay here again as the next closest Element is downtown and this was easier with traffic!

King room

I did not like this hotel. 1. To get to the registration desk, parking is minimal. I had to park in the regular lot and walk back. If it is raining, you may get very wet. There is no roof in order to load, or unload your vehicle without getting soaked. It is South Florida afer all. It rains a lot. 2. One elevator was broken and the other had a 2-person Covid restriction. Took forever to get down to the first floor. I walked down the stairs one time, but could not with luggage. Fix the elevator! 3. Don't get a room on the west side of the building overlooking the the avenue. Loud traffic all night long. Worse part is I got the room using my points. I did not pay a dime, but still feel l got burned. Good point: A block from M.I.A. Beer Company. Excellent craft brewery.

This was hands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. You definitely get the bang for your buck. Everything at the hotel was brand new and super modern. They have complementary breakfast and complementary beer and wine around dinner time! They also have a gym here that is not your average "hotel gym" I felt like I was at LA Fitness lol Maria and Bianca went above and beyond to make sure my stay was everything and more. This is the ONLY hotel I will stay at in Miami from now on!

We were going to go straight to bed until we saw the shower. Beautiful.

This hotel was a godsend after our flight home from Miami to Denver was delayed by over 12 hours. We had just spent all day in the airport and had a horrible experience with American Airlines. We were given vouchers for a shuttle to take us to the Element Miami Doral hotel. My husband was okay with sleeping at the airport but after I had multiple panic attacks and disorientation from just getting off a 7 day cruise, we accepted the voucher and were on our way. After spending over 12 hours in the airport, we HAD to get out. When we arrived, Luis C made us feel like we could have some peace finally. He gave us toothbrushes, toothpaste, and helped us get us drinks and food with our vouchers. In the morning, we were checked out within a minute and headed to the shuttle. The hotel was beautiful, the room was comfortable, and even though we only got a few hours in the hotel before we had to go back to the airport, we will definitely be staying here again if we end up back in Miami.

Great utility of space in the rooms!

Great hotel in Doral. You can get better rates on Expedia. Clean, friendly & comfortable.

POOL WAS GOOD!

First time in Miami and after days of deciding where to stay. I picked Element. I loved this hotel, it was very clean!! And quiet. I saw mostly business people there. When I showed up the lady in the front was very nice (too bad I didn't get her name :() They have free parking, free breakfast and free wine (certain days)..They also have a restaurant in which I didn't get to enjoy :(...anyways it was way more cleaner than the Aloft (hotel next to it). The only thing I didn't like was that the restaurant closed early so if you are hungry at 3 am in the morning that means no food for you :/.. anyways I had a wonderful time there.

Overall hotel is great. The only problem I find is the Internet. If you are OK going back to 1999 speed, go for it.

The property is beautiful, and the service is exactly what you would expect from a Four Seasons. One of the highlights was definitely the pool area. They have a separate section for kids, which was perfect for my daughter. She absolutely loved it and had an amazing time! It's nice to find a luxury hotel where adults can relax while the little ones enjoy themselves too. We also had dinner at one of the restaurants on the property. I can't remember the name, but I ordered the steak, and it was excellent! Great food and a beautiful setting. Between the atmosphere, the pool, the dining, and the overall hospitality, everything was fantastic. The location in Brickell is another huge plus. Whether you're visiting as a couple or bringing the family, this place is a winner. Five stars without hesitation!

It's very unfriendly and unaccommodating and illogical at these prices. Aside from that, pool is gorgeous, lobby bar fantastic with great lounge music at night and Nuna very good. It's a beautiful hotel if life finds you in the Brickell area. But for those traveling with your pets, go elsewhere. The Betsy is a very pet friendly hotel, for one. Ordered the salmon from the pet menu. It's more like a human serving, which is fine, with salmon, rice, asparagus, lettuce greens and some sort of sauce, like aoli. $20 was a fair price for it.

Really easy beach access and access to the cobblestone walking area at the back of the hotel where you can ride a bike or walk. If you are an early bird, definitely recommend getting up early and utilizing the complimentary bike rentals. I believe you get 2 free hours which is more than enough time for an early morning ride. We rode our bikes to Starbucks, drank our coffee and then rode back. Again, try leaving early because the area gets really busy with walkers, runners, bikers and also people on rollerblades. One other thing to note is that we visited around July 4th. To view the multiple firework shows, grab a chair and walk along the beach. The pool area had great entertainment and games including bean bags and ping pong. The pool itself was not the largest pool but we were able to find a place to lounge each time. The pool was also heated which typically I would say was a plus but in July, it was a bit much at times. Great staff, very friendly and always smiling. Let's talk about the rooms. The rooms were above average in terms of design and cleanliness. The bathroom was an interesting one. Small. Too small. Made it hard to enjoy the shower or find places to put your stuff. The weird thing is that there were two closets. A large one specifically on the opposite wall of the bathroom. Why did they not use that space instead to make the bathroom bigger? No clue. As always be careful if you remove stuff from the fridges since you will get charged on your room bill. I have stayed at hotels such as Loews and Fontainebleau and this one is definitely a step below those hotels. Would I stay there again? Absolutely.

From the moment we arrived with check-in, getting our bags to our room, we were treated like true VIPs. Once we got to the room, we had time to change and head to the pool. The evenings were great as we were able to sit out on the balcony and relax, while at the same time being in the lobby or hitting the restaurant was always great. We took advantage of the on-site yoga classes and the beach every day while we were there. The beach area was nice, in the servers supporting the beach I felt did their best to accommodate all of the guests outside. If you're a frequent AMEX user, I would definitely recommend going through your AMEX as it really did just make a difference. The grounds were well kept the pool was clean. The staff was friendly and most importantly, we had an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend it for anybody coming to South Beach to come here, as it's centrally located and it's easily accessible to lots of other activities you may want to consider.

I love the pool and bar area and the decor of this hotel. There are parking garages close by, but plan ahead -- you'll be in for a rough time if you have a lot of luggage to carry. I was able to find parking in advance on one of the apps. The check-in experience is a bit odd, as its self-directed: just you and an iPad (although an employee was nearby and helpful to those who needed it). The identity verification took a hot minute, but it was seamless otherwise. And it gave me my choice of room views and late check-out through my Marriott status (nice not to have to debate with an agent for that!). The rooms are TINY. If you've been on a cruise ship, you'll have a similar feeling in a room here. The bathroom is a sort of wet bath setup, with the toilet and shower in the same little enclosure. The toilet is cruise ship size, but the shower is a little more generous. The room is the width of the king bed and no wider, but the storage options are creative, including a little alcove at the room entrance, some built-in storage on the sink vanity, and several drawers under the bed. Everything in the room is controlled by an older iPad -- the lights, the climate, the blinds, the TV, etc. it was a little slow, and I didn't see an option to actually choose a specific temperature for the room (just warmer or cooler), but it worked. The highlights: the bed was, for me, incredibly comfortable. I like a firm bed, and this definitely was. But I slept really well. And part of that was the fun "mood lighting" options you could set which coordinated color room lighting and visualizations on the TV. You can make the room DARK with the blinds closed, but I thought the view was gorgeous and not disruptively bright at night. I also liked the rooftop pool -- very small, but comfortable and again with great views. I wouldn't stay here with anyone I wasn't comfortable enough with to leave little to the imagination when it comes to a bathroom, but I'd absolutely come back for a solo or couples' getaway.

The iPad that controls the tv is a joke and good luck getting it to watch what you want. Small rooms with real no privacy if it's you and someone else. No onsite parking or anything that's very close. It was a walk with luggage down the city of Miami. I would definitely look elsewhere first before booking this hotel.
