They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.

They came in measured and had a more than competitive price in hand within a couple of days. Quoted an accurate lead time and delivered and installed on time. The windows are beautiful, the price was more than fair, and the installation was completed without a hitch. Jake and the crew at Pioneer are a great team, and do exactly what they promise.

She helped me come up with a design that matched my style and vision for the space. The materials I bought from her were all high quality and delivered without any issues. She also communicated frequently with my contractor which was a huge help given my busy schedule. Her experience and knowledge working on or with construction projects was a huge asset to making my project successful and low stress. Robin is very helpful, listens, provides great ideas and was instrumental in facilitating all aspects of my project. Robin is an energetic, passionate and great customer advocate who truly cares about her customer's success and satisfaction. My best advice is to go meet her, discuss your ideas and decide for yourself. The design/construction business can be sketchy (based on a past experience). Robin and the Design Center West team are open, honest and patient.

Unfortunately I am not the only one who has endured a bad experience with her. MH I warn anyone who will listen away from this unethical business and owner Robin Boyce. I had the misfortune to be her client and endure her careless, unprofessional, dishonest and ultimately abusive and vulgar treatment. My "custom kitchen" arrived without the custom elements and with a grossly oversized refrigerator. The kitchen designer blames someone else for a major kitchen error and refuses to fix it! (See photos) I had the exact same experience with the shutters and the custom stair-runner I ordered from her. They were both delivered with errors and missing parts, and Design West has done NOTHING to correct its errors. This is the worst experience I've ever had with another human being, period. I never received an apology on any mistake I swear to God. That's when I realized too late I had hired the wrong person. Robin Boyce/Design Center West scammed me by promising professional results and delivering dirt. Robin Boyce then turned verbally abusive when confronted with her easily disproved lies. (I have all documentation to prove my charges.) This last point deserves special mention. When I expressed my dismay at the errors, delays and lack of accountability, her demeanor shifted immediately from friendly to combative and borderline violent. It was a shock to learn the owner wasn't just a sleaze but mentally unhinged too. When I confronted her in her store after she ignored my contractor's emails and texts, she began screaming profanities at me while hurling insults about my appearance and character, which I presumed was an intimidation tactic. That felt sickening, but it worsened when she came at me with her arm pulled back as if to throw a punch, but thankfully she stopped herself before landing her fist in my face. I feel certain the only thing that stopped her was a possible assault charge. I would feel sorry for Ms Boyce if she wasn't a thief, and if her emotional instability didn't manifest in such an ugly manner. But no mental state excuses her dishonesty, mentally healthy or not. Not a word of this review is hyperbole. I lost thousands of dollars and was blindsided by a venomous verbal assault because I had the temerity to call out Robin Boyce on her mendacity and fraud. I could provide a colorful litany of her actions, but suffice it to say that it involved a lot of obscene finger, hip and hand gestures. Incidentally, her staff just sat there like dummies the entire time and let it all happen. Apparently they don't have an issue working for such a repulsive woman. Prior to my dealings with her, Robin was verbally abusive to my contractor on multiple occasions as well when he asked her about delayed deliverables. Following is an example of one the few correspondences between him and Robin that isn't littered with her F-bombs: "Shut up. Stop talking. Don't tell me what to do. Its not Maureen... its you. I'm surprised guys take your mouth, and the way you talk down to others; I suspect you've been punched a few times." This is the first---and I hope last--bad review I ever had to write. Let this brutally honest review serve as a public service announcement to warn others away from this troublemaker. Do not hire Design Center West. You will pay a premium for sloppy, mediocre results, and the owner will curse you when you express your dissatisfaction. This has been a yearlong nightmare that only ended after I hired someone else to fix all of her mistakes. Caveat emptor!

We went to the show, and put our name into a couple of hats. Only 3 got back to us, Leo, almost immediately, the other 2 within several months (I've yelped and Angie Listed them for their questionable customer service...) Wall definitely needed more than cosmetics - safety and aesthetics - drainage needed to be redone, stones replaced and wall was falling forward...we wanted it fixed. We contacted 3 service providers 2 which didnt even BOTHER to come back with a quote - we are tough negotiators and although we knew the work would cost more than we led them to believe, we wanted to start at a reasonable point and open to suggestions. Leo not only came when he said he would, he was patient with his back and forth negotiation process. Not having heard from the other 2 vendors and feeling his base price was reasonable, checked out other work and listened to his recommendations, we went with FieldStone Pro. They tore down, and rebuilt, recycled our old stone as requested, expanded our yard work, fixed some of the old delapidated areas and delivered a beautiful expanded patio and double tier stone wall (we originally had one tier), that come spring and the added green, is a true "wow" view from our dining room and breakfast nook! Gorgeous work! They delivered on time, cost and schedule what they promised. They exceeded expectations. They had a little incident during the work but they didn't leave us hanging - they kept us informed and made up for lost time. It is of particular notice that for mason work - they are clean, meticulous, organized and detailed oriented. Leo LOVES his workmanship and it shows. He is an extremely personable professional and it was a delightful experience from first stone down-demolition and construction. Most importantly, he came when he said he would. He provided his quotes when he said he would. He delivered what he said he would. And he was reasonable and flexible and accommodating. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended! Cost effective, clean, attentive, professional AND THEY SHOW UP!!! WOOHOO!!!
