Last night however, after my wife's flight was delayed almost 2 hours, the pick-up went smoothly and with literally minutes to spare, Mike and First Class got my wife to the ferry terminal (about 90 miles from the pick-up at SeaTac). I'm very surprised that they've not been reviewed here as they've won several "best of" type awards. Saleem is a great guy and everyone on his staff is great as well. The cars are always high-quality, clean and well-driven. The drivers know where you're going and allow you to work, read, veg out or doze off as you see fit. They'll often have a bottle of water for you. And the pick-ups at the airport are always quick and easy after you get your bags. The point of a town car service is to make your life a little more pleasant than a cab. I think the price that Stars VIP charges is comparable to a cab ride. Why wouldn't you take a town car instead? PS - On a whim I asked Saleem if he'd donate some of his services to a cancer research fundraising auction for the Fred Hutch I was working on. He did so without hesitation and was happy to help. I was very disappointed in our experience with Faris town car. We use them when transferring from a…read morehotel to the cruise terminal, and that ride was fine. However, our second ride, which took us from the cruise terminal to the airport was awful. There were six of us, and we had hired a shuttle to the airport for our party. We had very little time between disembarkation and the flight check-in. However, the first shuttle that arrived told us that they weren't our shuttle and that we needed to wait for the next shuttle. We waited another 20 minutes for the next shuttle, and when that guy got there, he proceeded to wait to see if he could pick up additional passengers. We told him that we were in a hurry and that we were nearing the check-in time, but that didn't matter. The second thing is more of a serious issue rather than an annoyance. The rear passenger brakes were metal on metal. There was also a very loud vibration in the back end of the van. Metal on metal brakes can be especially dangerous because it can cause the brakes to overheat and completely fail. We were going highway speeds and it was pretty scary. So in our experience, Faris does not maintain their vehicles, putting passengers at great risk. I would not recommend them.

They picked me up right on time, the driver was a little hard to understand thru his accent, but he was as friendly and helpful as it gets! It was a awesome experience. The limo's are a little it older, but they are still classy. I would say if you'll be poppin champagne in there to buy some plastic champ age glasses because there are about 8 glass glasses in the limo itself, but if you wanted to drink out of something classier, its not in there. All together, I was so impressed with how punctual and friendly they were:) Oh, and also, most limo places I called were going to charge me a ridiculous amount for 2 hours.
