I discovered last night, after coming home with my new c-pap machine, head harness and parts were billed to my insurance company at full cost! That is, I bought them outright instead of making monthly payments (rent to own), which is what we discussed and I agreed to. I visited their office today to change my billing cc from personal Visa to an FSA account. I also decided to call my insurance company while there to find out how much has been applied towards my deductible, thinking that if I made a down payment for the difference then my deductible would be met and any other related supplies the insurance company would pickup thereafter. Unfortunately, I have to now go through the process of having Lincare send a bill to the insurance company and then I will submit a payment. I get this. What I don't get is when the office manager came out and became impatient because I was on the phone with my insurance company after I told them what I was doing.? And then proceeded to bully me with a louder and louder voice until I spoke up. I told them what they did was wrong; telling me one thing, and doing another! They gave me a monthly amount I would pay and the number of months it would take to pay it off, but when I asked if what I had was a rent to own agreement, they said, "no, you own it." I was livid and I wanted an explanation, but all I got a blank stare. This experience has taught me many important lessons, but the biggest takeaway is I will NEVER use them again.

They don't provide needed parts of equipment which leaves you to purchase on your own. Billing is always wrong. Customer service doesn't exist. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. They were also very flexible when we needed to extend our rental several times.
