Reputable: These guys are licensed & bonded through the State of Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC: #301620). The Work: We has an outlet installed on a wall for a flatscreen TV. He probed through the existing FSE box before plunge cutting into my drywall (awesome). He measured out my TV brackets to ensure the FSE box would clear the mount (awesome). He discovered plywood behind the drywall (not normal for an interior wall); took the time to measure out and analyze the reason, determined it was in fact plywood and not wall framing studs (awesome). What looked like a simple job, was a bit more difficult than expected. He overcame the problem, installed the outlet to code, and guess what... the price was the same (amazing). Great job. Very pleased.

I had 2 different companies come out and both told me I would need a whole circuit replacement or such and just a "commercial diagnostic" would be around $1200 according to the other companies I asked. So i told them i would look around and happened to come across Turn it on Electric. I sent a quote message and got an INSTANT response and they even had someone come out in about an hour from my call to them. Amazing service and Technician, Logan, was very friendly and informative. Im just glad they were able to come out so fast, find the issue and fix the issue before our business hours so that we could operate our restaurant. I can't thank you guys enough for your help today and how much it means for us to open our business! Would 100% call again for any issues and recommend as well. Pricing is pretty expensive but because this was an emergency case I completely understand and it was still reasonable compared to other companies.

I am extremely disappointed with Turn It On Electric and will never use this vendor again or…read morerecommend them to anyone. Charging $285 for a fix that took literally two minutes, without ever disclosing that minimum charge upfront, is the kind of business practice that makes me want to warn every homeowner I know. I want to share my full experience so others can make an informed decision before booking with this company. I had a bathroom outlet in my rental home that wasn't providing power -- it was newly installed about a year ago and this was the first time I tested it. I called to schedule an appointment, and the person I spoke with walked me through scheduling and availability but at no point mentioned that they have a $285 minimum service charge, regardless of how simple the job turns out to be. The electrician arrived and diagnosed the issue almost immediately: a switch/breaker in the main panel had simply been left off. He flipped it back on, tested the outlet, and confirmed it was working -- the entire fix took just a few minutes. Despite the simplicity of the issue, I was charged the full $285 minimum. I understand service calls have overhead, but I feel strongly that a charge this significant should be communicated clearly at the time of scheduling, not after the technician has already been to my home and the work is done. Had I known about the $285 minimum in advance, I would have asked more questions or looked elsewhere. I'm not disputing the technician's professionalism. My issue is entirely with the lack of upfront pricing transparency.
