She does wonders with the ideas I bring her for the looks I'm going for. She is the type of stylist who will go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with your look before stepping out the door. At other salons Ive always found myself spending most of my time at the dryer rather then the chair. Thats not what Andrea is about, she understands that time is precious and cannot be wasted and the hair dryer. She will try to get you in and out as soon as possible. I highly recommend Andrea.

And she never asked me what kind of blow out I wanted. My blow outs take around 90 minutes and I was in there within less than an hour. There's a place that specializes in blow outs in the same plaza, I'm beating myself up for not going there instead. It just looks like I got my hair straightened !!!! Like why would I pay $70 just to get my hair straightened. She asked to use the flat iron and I said yes because I could tell the way she rounded my hair with the brush wasn't going to hold . In the end, when I seen it looked like all I did was get my hair straightened, I asked her to flip my ends, she didn't even know what I meant by that, I thought that's what she was doing when she was going over my hair with the flat iron. I was so over it at that point. There's a section of my hair that's still damped. This is supposed to be for my birthday . I am so pissed. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I'm honestly a lil offended like do I look like I don't know how to wash my hair and straighten it myself ? Why would I make an appointment for that?

Hair By Danielle Women's Luxury Haircut with Partial…read moreHighlights, Blow Dry & Style I really thinkinng not saying nothing about it but I don't like other people having the same experience anymore. Horrible experience. I spent the last year in and out of hospitals due to spine surgeries, and Groupon reactivated my voucher for this salon. Once there, the stylist, Danielle, forced me to pay an extra $80 out of pocket. I specifically requested a straight, above-the-shoulder haircut and showed her a photo. Danielle completely ignored my request and left my hair long, with a bad V-shape (pointed) in the back, below my shoulders. She intentionally left it poorly done and longer just to justify overcharging me the extra $80. To make things worse, she left the bleach on my head for an extra 20 minutes because she left to talk to a friend (can see in the cameras) . My hair turned bright orange/carrot color and is severely damaged. It has been a week and my scalp is still burning due to chemical burns from her negligence. Do not go to this place or see Danielle. It is a scam and a health hazard. I was so sad and honestly I not liked saying anything in the moment, I was in shock, the salon was full and I use walker...I just got home and trying to healing my hair scalp with my primary doctor.

She later said that she needed to reschedule for later in the day due to her son having a football game, understood. When I asked what time we could reschedule to that same day she stated that she didn't have a babysitter and if we could reschedule for Sunday, August 13th at 8am. Not an issue, 8am was fine for me. Today is Sunday. My daughter and I arrive at the salon at 8am and it's vacant. We knocked on the door several times before going back to my car to contact Kayla. I called, texted, and sent Kayla a message on Instagram with no answer. She did see my Instagram message but but did not reply. We waited for about 35 minutes before I decided to leave. My daughter is disappointed as am I as she really wanted to get her back to school style done by Kayla.

I made the mistake of going here and ended up paying three times the amount of money to have my hair color corrected after Sam turned it a red orange color when I told him beforehand that my only fear was ending up with red/orange hair. He assured me it would not. Not only that but the haircut was totally uneven and way shorter than I wanted. It had to be recut to even it all out. This can be devastating for a haircut that is already extremely short. Now I have to wear a scarf or a hat until my hair gets longer. Probably around six months. The worst experience of my life. I thought because he had great reviews he must be pretty good but after my hair was ruined I looked further for more reviews. If you look hard enough and deep enough you will find all of the terrible reviews. For some reason people are able to hide these which is a bad thing for people like myself that look for reviews before going to a new salon. I dont understand how he could have so many 5 stars reviews after what he did to my hair. Are they really all real reviews? Seriously, this is so deceiving and it's unfair to people that rely on honest reviews to decide where to go for hair needs. Sam is a very nice man until it comes time to take responsibility for ruining your hair. Then he's not so nice.

Okay. I hate to do it, but I need to write a "bad" review of this salon. I just moved to the area…read moreand used Yelp to find a new salon. My salon back home was a Filipino place, with a Filipino woman who could cut the crap out of my hair. I'm Mexican, but my hair is very Asian in texture so I prefer Asian salons. I got a perm several months ago and my hair had since grown out and the bottom was heavy with curl and bulk. I needed to have it thinned out and trimmed. I saw the good reviews on Yelp and the salon is just a few minutes from home, so I decided to give it a try. I called at 8 a.m. on Saturday and they fit me in for a 10:30 a.m. appointment the same day. I saw three other clients and all were elderly women, but whatever. Paula sat me down in her chair and wet my hair with a spray bottle. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and then described it to her again, and she was off. She used a razor cutter, which I took as a good sign because that's generally how my hair is cut. I'll admit, it felt so nice to have my hair cut, I sat most of the time with my eyes closed. I opened them at one point and my hair was looking good -- it was the right length and I could see the bulk was gone. I closed my eyes again and she kept cutting. I felt her cutting higher, but assumed she was just putting in the layers I asked for. When she announced she was done, I opened my eyes to see she had taken off 4-5 inches of my hair and left me with some sort of weird wavy boy mullet. My shoulder-length hair was now chin-length. I didn't know what to say as there wasn't a lot to be done at that point and I just wanted to get home and inspect what had happened on my head. The cut was only $20 and I still tipped her, but I ran out and came home a bit upset at my new haircut. My boyfriend assured me it looked great, but that's just because boyfriends are supposed to say that. Luckily I'm actually pretty skilled with a razor cutter myself, so I pulled mine out and went to work fixing my hair. 30 minutes later I'd cut off the weird mullet in the back and cut off most of the wave and I was left with a haircut I really liked and one that looked nothing like the 80s male figure skater look Paula gave me. She did do a wonderful job on my bangs, so I'll give her two stars. However, the only reason I like my haircut today is because I fixed it myself and made it into something cute. Maybe it was my wavy, permed hair that thew her off, but regardless I won't be going back for another cut. I'll either maintain this cut myself or find a new salon when I want something different. She was a very nice lady and I know she can cut hair, she just had bad luck with mine.

I had a lengthy consultation where we reviewed multiple inspiration photos and discussed adding…read moredepth and dimension while maintaining a dimensional bronde look with lighter ends. My hair had become brassy and I just wanted to add low lights and some dimension. I showed many, many photos to make it clear what I wanted. Unfortunately, the final result was drastically different from what I requested. Much of the interior and underside of my hair was colored a very dark brunette tone, creating a flat, heavy appearance rather than the dimensional look shown in the photos we reviewed. The ends of my hair look completely black, nothing like the photos I showed. The issue wasn't that my hair became darker overall. I expected more depth and lowlights. The issue was that much of the brightness and dimension was lost, particularly underneath, leaving large sections of the hair looking like one solid dark color. To Cynthia's credit, she did offer to adjust the color by adding highlights and ultimately provided a full refund when I explained that I was no longer comfortable proceeding with additional processing since my first request was so misunderstood and poorly executed. While I appreciate her efforts to make things right afterward, the final result did not reflect the look we spent significant time discussing beforehand. I'm honestly still devastated.
