Until Terri! not only Did she answer every single question that I had she took her time and was very thorough with the whole process making sure I knew each and every step and was comfortable with the shape and color of my brows! Elegancedefinedbyterri brow experience 6/23/19 (1 week out they're still in the healing phase but I love them already!) I have had my brows microbladed before from a licensed artist in MD who worked out of her home, she had her kids running around in the background and would stop to take phone calls or talk to other clients that came in as she double booked and it was not a relaxing experience. She never consulted what I wanted and needless to say my brows were not what I was expecting. ( No prior discussion about color, size, shape.. this should have been my clue to walk out but she already had my $ and a no refund policy). I was surprised to see the depth and detail Terri goes into to make sure you have the brows YOU want. She explained the difference in the type of brow services available and what would have the best retention for my skin type (I have somewhat oily skin and large pores). We decided on combo brows for my brow correction and after looking at her shape sample sheet I was able to describe the type of brow I desired. Terri made sure to check in after mapping out my brows to make sure the shape and style was still something I was comfortable with. She showed me samples of pigment color and selected a shade that would work with the color of my natural brow hair , as well as cover up the faded results of my prior microbladed brows. She applied numbing cream and I read while she prepped. Terri does not rush and takes her time to give you results, so please don't think this is something that is done in an hour. Plan to be there a few hours. She would constantly check in with me during the process to check on my comfort level and if I was experiencing any pain. Once my brows were done she gave me aftercare instructions and also an aftercare kit! It's nice that she included the kit as that is generally an extra cost and her kit includes more material than what I received from my last artist (only a little pot of phi brow butter -as she called it). My brows looked great & started peeling about 3 days in. I wasn't panicked since I followed her aftercare instructions. I was worried about the sun , since it is summer in AZ and you can't avoid it. Terri advised she had a phi brows sunscreen available for purchase. ( I did purchase this it is SPF 50 and I applied it to my brows after the brow balm... Just to be safe) .. Although it was not needed, since I live on the East coast I did pay for a second appt for a touch up and had her adjust the brow design slightly (basically I wanted them a tad fuller than what I previously asked for - I was afraid they would look too thick so was trying for a thicky-thin brow ). The extra cost was worth it and just like the first appt she applied a pre-numb cream, mapped out my brows, shade selected before starting. I overused my previous aftercare kit , however she had a minikit available for purchase which I bought. Terri's studio is calming and stylish. The lobby is clean and has an assortment of beverages and a candy dish.. which I took full advantage of when I filled out my paperwork and also while waiting for the numbing cream to kick in. I would definitely recommend ElegancedefinedbyTerri for your permanent makeup brow needs. I only wish that she also did permanent eyeliner because I would be SO HERE for it. read more

I've gotten my lashes done before & it was a horrible nightmare yes she was cheap but that's also what I got, careless cheap service and lashes. Terri provided me with top notch service. Let's start from the beginning. Booking my appointment was so easy! The website on her instagram took me directly to where I need to book & it was so simple to choose I'm time and date. Finding the location was also easy & her studio is gorgeous! She provided me with a back & neck pillow knowing we were gonna be there for a while! She had a diffuser on and made it so relaxing. I had such a great time getting my lashes done & definitely gave me an experience. She educated me on my lashes and gave me exactly what I wanted and more. The best part was the goodie bag I received after. She had a little note that said "I am enough" that came with a little quote and just warmed my heart. A simple, clean lash bath recipe was also included with 3 lash brushes. Forever grateful for such an amazing women & such talent! Do yourself a favor & GO TO HER! read more

I love my eyebrows and I can't wait to see them once they are completely healed! Also... Not only did she do such an amazing job; she was professional, friendly, funny, honest and very knowledgeable. I've known Terri for a few years now and have always admired how she carries herself, both on a professional and a friend level. I would come to Terri all the time for my beauty questions. Which products to use and what to do with my hair, what to do my skin, what make up works.. etc. I trusted her judgement and honesty because she was always very particular with everything.. which I love!! That's why when I learned Terri was doing brows, I had to jump on that! Her energy is so welcoming, from the beginning to the end, the entire experience with Terri was incredible!
