We had a very positive experience here with the assistance of Bradley, purchased a TV (TCL QM7) off display bc it's so hard to find right now and the value is worth the price point. They cleaned it, packaged it up, and loaded it in to our car. Offered us an additional warranty for 5 years and at that point you get half of it back for store credit if not used, we declined but I am impressed with the offer. Only gave 4 stars bc I feel that displays should be reduced price (even just a little). Random fun fact: I found a Yeti Rambler discounted in the color I wanted, which was unavailable at most other places I was looking, including Amazon. read more

I went to the Spring Hill location last Saturday looking to get a new washer and dryer and Steve O'Brien was super helpful and friendly. He was very knowledgeable and made the whole process so easy. He even let me sit down and eat my snack as I had just got done working and was starving! I was recovering from a small surgery and he was very accommodating and made me feel right at home. I am so happy with our new digital LG washer and dryer in matte black. Steve did not rush me and saved me $1,000 and gave me a rebate too of $100. Every little bit helps these days in this inflated market. I love coming to this store. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Been buying from this store for 10 plus years. I have most recently bought a 85 inch Samsung tv. It developed a streak in the screen so I checked and my extended service plan and it is still in effect. So I called and filed a warranty claim. Three days later they called me and said we will pick up your TV on the 15th and take it to our shop and fix it and have it back to you in a few weeks. I asked him about a tv to watch while they have mine. He said that they couldn't do anything about that I would just be without a tv. So I called the store and spoke to the manager and told him my situation and he said well he was sorry but he couldn't do anything. So he can't do anything but I can. Met with washer dryer salesman. Got price quoted that included hook up install and removal of old units. My wife went back later to pay, and salesman did not include the install in the price that was quoted. I Had to return to the store a 30 minute drive to get a refund put back on our credit card ( don't like being lied to and ripped off". Because they refuse to include the install like they had previously stated they would. Couple of days later went to the electronics express in Franklin Tennessee and got the same price and they included the install and take away of the old units. So if you're going to shop at electronic, Xpress do not do it in Springhill Tennessee drive 20 minutes and save yourself some money and headache. read more

I just purchased an upright freezer from this location. I immediately opened it upon arriving home, and the top is severely damaged and a huge dent in the side. I spent $400 on this freezer for it to not be in new condition as it was purchased. I called immediately upon arriving home, slightly over one hour later. Johnathan, the manager, is who I spoke with. He told me that no partial refund or refund at all would be offered. They will not allow me to return it. I am essentially screwed and just wasted $400 on a damaged freezer. I DO NOT reccomend doing business with them. EDIT: In response to the unit being switched out. Yes, we had to drive an hour to Gallatin to have that done. We also had to spend over $100 more on a different one. A refund was NOT an option, which imo is ridiculous for a damaged unit. My review still stands the same for this location. They told me that since it wasn't handled (exchanged) the day of purchase that it was out of their hands and nothing they could do. BUYER BEWARE if you are having an item delivered that then turns out to be defective. The delivery service brought the new SECOND dishwasher I ordered and took the original/defective dishwasher with them in March of 2023 and it is now August 2023 and I have NOT been refunded for the defective item because Electronic Express has no record of it being returned to their warehouse. After 5 months of several calls and many many unreturned emails they offer me a $200.00 refund for my troubles and I am still on the hook for paying for the item that I DO NOT have. read more

I loath Electronic Express with a passion. From the moment you walk in you are bombarded with employees worse than car salesmen. I don't mind having help every now and then but don't come in just to browse unless you feel the need for a pat down worse than an airport. Businesses that have employees relying on commission for income annoy me to the point of insanity. And this establishment is no different than a used car lot. Maybe I'm antisocial or prefer that people stop kissing my arse to get me to buy an overpriced electronic, but I recommend avoiding this place like the plague. The last item I bought was headphones for my PC and the minute I walked in this guy would not leave my side even when I said I was just "looking around". My wife picked up these headphones and not a second passes and he appeared from around the corner saying she wouldn't be smart buying those headphones because they were cheaply made and break easy. Those cost $19.99 and he then recommended another pair that cost $79.99 and again said only smart people buy these. So to end the story (and review) we left and purchased headphones from Target. I went into the Electronic Express' Spring Hill location last Monday to return an optical cable that wasn't able to work with my receiver due to a bad port in my unit. I was going to connect my old Minidisc recorder in analog with some high end RCA-style stereo cables, in lieu of digital connectivity. A very sharp dressed and friendly employee, Curt Greene, approached and greeted me. He asked how he could help me. He asked me several questions to understand what I was trying to connect. He found me exactly what I needed, returned my optical cable and checked out my purchases. This exchange sounds like a pretty mundane sales experience and it was. It was HOW Mr. Greene treated me that made the difference. He let me walk into the store without immediately pouncing on me. He came up and said hello, and exchanged some small talk with me, then asked how he could help me. When speaking with me he didn't treat me like he was all-knowledgable and I was just an unknowledgable consumer. He talked with me like we were just two guys having a conversation. This put me at ease, helping me to enjoy my shopping experience. All stores need more employees with customer service and human relations skills like Mr. Curt Greene. read more

I bought a Samsung TV there about a year ago. They said it was "brand new" but I noticed that it was in an open package, batteries were in the remote and that none of the instructions were plastic. I also noticed there was no covering. Just a TV in a Box with the styrofoam. I inquired about this and they said it was new and I had nothing to worry about. I purchased a MacBook Pro Laptop from the Electronic Express. I went in to buy a Dell or HP, but the salesman did his job and convinced me to buy a MacBook because I have all Apple accessories and my phone is Apple. I was Leary because I had heard of the MacBook having NVRAM issues that caused the screen to go black and gray striped. The salesman insisted that the screen and NVRAM issues were fixed and in fact if I did have an issue or was worried about an issue I could pay them more money and get the insurance to cover all components. I did at the whopping cost of $300 more dollars. Fast forward a month ahead and the laptop stopped functioning. I take it in and they swap it for another unit I had to drive 30 mins to get. Mind you this laptop has all of my work information and blueprints on it. This is not a leisure laptop but used exclusively for my work. Fast forward two and a half weeks later and the second laptops NVRAM goes out. I take it in and they agree with me that's the issue so they tell me to send it into the warranty company. Because I have now paid off my debt to them they have to push it to the warranty company. I have been civil and cooperative in all facets of this process. So I send it to them and it comes back three days late with an email saying I dropped the laptop and they can't help. I have now been without my laptop for approximately five weeks because of the incompetence of the warranty company. I literally called Apple and was given the diagnosis of a faulty NVRAM, which is a component issue, and have been wait for the store manager or the warranty manager to call me to fix the issue. I have been highly satisfied until this point, being a repeat customer and spending thousands to Electronic Express. This takes the cake, basically being called a thief and a liar I feel very disrespected. I would never steal anything and that is what they are accusing me of. read more

I bought a washer and dryer from Electronic Express and upon delivery they did not have the correct vent hose or electric plug. We bought the stack kit and also told the salesman that it needed to be the long cord and vent hose. They bring it without the long extension plug and vent. There is not one on the truck and I call the store and they do not have one either. I was told to call back tomorrow. The delivery guy chipped my porch, through the ties on the floor, just let the lift drop down and caused my grout to chip, was making all kind of noise, so I went to see what was going on, they seem to have no regard for your home, and do not care if you do not have the right items with them. The other guy brought another hose and plug, the other guy took it and threw it out the door. Now, I am trying to figure out how I am going to get these items since the store does not have them. I called the main office two times, she hung up on me with out me finishing telling her the problem. I called back, it was them automated for you to leave a number. This place has horrible customer service! I just spent over 1700 on a tv there and somehow paypal put my previous address as the shipping address. I contacted them as soon as I noticed but the tv had already been shipped. I contacted Fedex and they told me that the shipper could change the delivery address and that I should contact them. When I called them the guy that I talked to was very rude and said it was against company policy and I would either have to have it returned and repay shipping (even though it was free shipping) or have it held at a fedex location (which the nearest one is an hour away and only open 8-10 am which is when I am sleeping as I work nights) He also informed me that if I canceled my order I would have to pay a restocking fee. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was transfered to a lady named Holly, she basically told me the same thing. They wouldn't even let me varify my correct address (which is also varified on paypal). I wouldn't recomend anybody purchase from them based on their shotty customer service. read more

After posting my last review, the owner of Electronic Express reached out to me. I have been having trouble getting my refund on a warranty, that I was told I could get half back on. When I went in today to get my half back, I dealt with Jared, who I have been dealing with for the last week and a half. Who gave me incorrect information, that caused this whole problem. When I went in today to get my half back he acted like he didn't want to deal with me. He then handed me a gift card. I was surprised, and said, "oh nobody told me that either. I was expecting cash back. Oh well". He then proceeded to raise his voice at me and argue with me and tell me that he had never told me anything that was not true. I said, you just told me something that wasn't right last week. He continue to argue with me and and act like I was a liar. I asked for the gift card so that I could leave. He held the gift card behind his back as if he wasn't going to give it to me while still arguing with me with his voice raised. I have never been treated like that in a customer service setting. Jared has no business being in customer service. I will use the gift card at another Electronic Express, because I will not go back in that store as long as Jared is there. read more
