    Can you give zero stars? The company asks for $250 from the…read moreestate. Why? They say it didn't receive returned equipment and is too lazy to walk over to the warehouse to see if they can locate it. The estate paid it to allow the closing of the estate to move forward but they have no customer service except to repeat their canned speech. I filed a complaint with BBB and they responded with the same canned speech. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office. I hope they give this customer some satisfaction. I would suggest that no one sign up with ADT. It doesn't go well. There are thousands of complaints out there about this company. Do your due diligence and go with someone else. How bad did they need this $250? Was it worth all of the bad reviews that will come from this customer? P.S. They charged us an extra month after they received the death certificate. Their condolences on the phone did not sound sincere. This may not be the local ADT, but it is their parent company. I understand that there are thousands of negative reviews, new ones added every day. They have figured out if they respond to the review with a question, they manage to stay in good standings with the BBB. They are very close to being a scam. Beware.

They are a very scandalous company they make everything so hard to communicate with them they don't care that your service did not work they still will charge you and just getting it canceled is nothing but a big hassle I don't recommend this company to anyone I can't believe the way they treated my mother, by the way that's my 90-year-old mother.

First of all, the installation tech, unhooked one of our doorbells and did not tell us. I found out when family started knocking on the door. Then the smoke and carbon detector started going off. After setting and re-setting , we called the gas company; The gas company could not find any gas leaks in the home. Then the whole monitor went out. Vivint wanted to text back and forth to tell me how to fix the system. After insisting, they finally agreed to send at tech to the home. He got everything up and running but I am still without my back doorbell. I need my doorbell up and functioning.

If you get security through us, we'll waive the initial install fee and give you free x y Z." He'll bumbly fumbly complain that his iPad is messing up so just sign here and he'll get me all the info of what I'm getting done and what I added on and all that to my email. Then, you'll read the email later to find out he charged you for the install and equipment that you do not have OR was supposed to be free. They will not work with you to remove it without penalty or credit. You'll be stuck, being ripped off my a dishonest, poor business-practicing company. Truly, stay FAR away from them.
