My skin was absolutely radiant! Not only is Yelena very professional with years of experience...but she is brilliant to create the Roezen Beauty Mask! I bought it, and use it every other day. The caviar and essential oils do wonders for tired skin infusing it with Vitamins that go through all the layers of the epidermis. I recommend it to everyone. If you cannot visit her Brooklyn location, not to worry! She is opening a Manhattan location before the end of this year!

I have had skin problems (only on my face) for the past 8+ years and my acne was constantly a challenge. I have tried countless estheticians and NOTHING helped to the extent that the Roezen mask does. It truly is incredible. Yelena is a wonderful esthetician and is passionate about what she does. She gives you a step-by-step routine, with incredible products... that put you on the right track. I have been going to her for a month and have purchased some of her products, which are not badly priced at all for the AMAZING results that they yield. I waited a few weeks to write this review because I feel that products often help for a few days and then just dry out your skin. I wanted to wait and see the longer-term results in order to write an honest review. I came to realize that the Roezen mask and products (I use them religiously and correctly) helped to bring all of my problems to the surface (pull all of the bad stuff from inside) and to CORRECT my skin for better long-term results. I had scarring, cysts, extreme redness, and other unpleasant things on my face just a month ago and, for the most part, all of that has DISAPPEARED. My skin tone is now even for the first time in a while and I don't have to worry about putting on AS MUCH make-up anymore (which ultimately helps make the skin even healthier). I am typically hesitant to endorse products but I certainly recommend the Roezen Mask (and TONER) to everyone suffering from skin problems. This mask and system has worked wonders for me.

Aside from the fact that it's affordable compared to what the other jerks in Manhattan are charging, Dr. Benjamin is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and caring. During my session, I had a diamond-free microderm abrasion, laser hair removal and photo rejuvenation for my face. Dr. Benjamin also spent extra time going over my daily skin care regime and provided me with samples of other products she thought might be better suited for my skin type and needs. If you want a skilled professional who gives you undivided attention and provides a service for a reasonable dollar amount; then the trek out to Brooklyn is well worth the trip. I only wish I had found Harmonie Ultime sooner than I did! Thanks Dr. B!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after making several genuine attempts to move past this…read moresituation and continue as a client, I feel it is important to share my experience. My issue is not simply that I was unhappy with part of my hair. Mistakes can happen in any salon. My issue is how a legitimate concern was handled afterward and, ultimately, how I have been treated as a returning client. I originally went to Servet for balayage. While I was generally satisfied with the overall result, once I wore my hair up, I noticed that the balayage on both sides was poorly blended and looked unfinished. I contacted the salon and explained exactly what was bothering me. Servet told me he would take care of it at my next root-color appointment. I relied on that assurance and waited approximately six weeks. During those six weeks, the issue continued to bother me, so I contacted him again and asked whether he could possibly fit me in sooner. I was told there was no availability, but once again I was reassured that it would be taken care of at my next appointment. I accepted that and waited. When I finally arrived for that appointment, I was suddenly told that the correction could not be done that day and that I would need yet another appointment. That was the point at which I became extremely frustrated. I had not simply walked in expecting additional work without an appointment. I had waited six weeks specifically because I had been told that the original issue would be corrected that day. The conversation became heated, and in my frustration I used a word I should not have used. I acknowledge that and take responsibility for it. But one frustrated word should not erase the circumstances that led to that moment or turn the entire situation into a discussion about my reaction while ignoring the original problem. What disappointed me most was exactly that: every time I tried to bring the conversation back to why I was upset--the unfinished result, the six-week wait, and the commitment that had been made--the focus seemed to shift away from the actual service issue and onto my reaction. My husband later came to the salon, not to threaten or physically confront anyone, but simply to understand what had happened and help resolve an unnecessarily escalated situation. Ultimately, Servet did work on my hair that day. And despite everything, I made a conscious effort to put the situation behind us. I returned afterward with a cake for the salon as a gesture of goodwill. I later came back for another root-color appointment and behaved politely and professionally because I genuinely did not want one bad interaction to destroy a relationship with a stylist whose coloring work I otherwise trusted. That is why what happened today was particularly disappointing. I called the salon simply to make another appointment. I was put on hold and eventually told that someone would call me back with availability. No one called. After waiting, I tried calling back several times--approximately five or six calls during business hours--and my calls went unanswered. At this point, I would much rather someone simply tell me, directly and professionally, that they no longer wish to have me as a client. I can respect honesty. What I cannot respect is being told that I will receive a call back and then having repeated calls ignored instead of being given a straightforward answer. There have also been moments in my interactions with Servet where the communication has felt unnecessarily dismissive or condescending--comments along the lines of "I already told you," "maybe you forgot," or "you don't remember," as well as personal comparisons that I did not find appropriate. Humor and familiarity are one thing; making a client feel uncomfortable is another. I am not writing this to question Servet's talent. In fact, if I did not trust his coloring work, I would not have continued trying to return after everything that happened. That is precisely why this experience is so disappointing. Good customer service is not about never making a mistake. It is about what you do after a mistake or misunderstanding occurs. I gave this salon multiple opportunities to move forward, and I made a genuine effort to do the same. I am sharing my experience because clients deserve clear communication, accountability, and basic professional respect. If you don't want someone's business, say so. Ignoring them is not the professional way to handle it.
