    Silver Oar no clearcoat

I don't usually do good reviews i only do bad ones but... Got some wheels powder coated in silver oar by prismatic (bought my self) they did a good job from what I could tell I've had powder coat jobs in the passed that had some kind of debris in the paint but these guys did a good job. I wasn't happy with the finish of the paint so I took the wheels back and asked them if they could clear coat them Tony asked Guillermo and said bring them down so I did they had them done for me in 2 hours and man did they look amazing it's exactly what I wanted. I got tires mounted the same day. Tire shop didn't want to mount tires because "they need 6 months to cure" after a quick google search I read a bunch of horror story's about how wheels that have not been prepped and cured/baked correctly chip when mounting tires due to the powder not having a good bond or something like that. Long story short I lied to the tire shop and said they had been coated a week ago and they should be fine. Tony and Guillermo said I was ok to mount tires on the second they were done. Prismatic also said the same thing. So I thought if they chip it's due to bad prep or bad tire shop. They did not even scratch. I was scared the whole day the car was in the tire shop. I was so happy to find out it all went well. Tony took care of me and hooked me up with the clear coat I had an awesome experience working with these guys. I'm not going to lie I was skeptical about them due to their reviews but they came highly recommended by a friend who does a lot of business with them so i gave them a try. The price was good I had one shop quote me 650+ 30% more for clear coat PLUS TAX!! on 17x7 wheels. Tony gave me a really good price if you are looking for powder coating I would definitely check them out. I'm coming back when I need more work done.

Two of the cages we asked EPS to powdercoat. Big, unwieldy, and lots of difficult parts. Can't believe how well they turned out.

It was also the cheapest option out of probably 20 other shops I requested quotes from. They also gave me a 2-year warranty and a free check up in the next few months for any imperfections. They answered right away and the wrap was done within 3 days!!! They offered me updates but I wanted to be surprised, and boy they did surprised me!!! Awesome job, thanks guys!!!

Sometimes, I'm not sure how much to trust perfect 5-star reviews, especially for business that have…read moreless than 100 reviews. That was the case when I posted here on Yelp for the potential need for a wrap on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee, because the clear coat was starting to come off in spots on the hood, roof, and rear spoiler. (I'm going to go into a lot of details below, but the short story is that based on my experience, you can trust the perfect 5-star rating for Clean Wrap Customs.) Jesus from Clean Wrap Customs was one of about 5 businesses to reach out. Based on cost and meeting my needs, Clean Wrap Customs and one other business were my 2 main options. Simply because the other business was closer to my house, I went there first. They also had essentially a perfect 5-star rating and actually had a few hundred reviews already more than Clean Wrap Customs, so I went there thinking they'd likely get my business. Within 30 minutes, however, something didn't feel right. Although they were upfront that their pricing could go up depending on what they saw when they got a closer look at my Cherokee, I was surprised that it went up by nearly 50% from the earlier estimates. I decided to pay a visit to Jesus, and the experience was much different. First, Jesus took the time to understand what I was asking for and why. Initially, I was looking to do a wrap for just where the clear coat was coming off. We tried to see if there was any vinyl that would be a match to the stock paint, but we couldn't find anything. So, we looked at options for a contrasting color. Jesus worked with us patiently, giving us virtual images of what different vinyl wraps would look like, but nothing was working for us. He even had a nearby paint shop vendor stop by to give us an estimate on redoing the clear coat/paint for the affected areas on my Cherokee. (He did this after we'd taken up nearly an hour of his time, essentially giving us the option of spending our money with another business.) In the end, we decided to have Jesus do a full wrap on the Cherokee...significantly more than we planned to spend initially, but we felt good with how Jesus handles his business and felt it would be money well-spent. (And at this point, we were starting to see how/why he had a 5-star rating.) The full wrap looks great on our Cherokee! Jesus even did a follow-up session after 2 weeks to take care of any bubbles or any other issues that may have come up since the initial installation. More than the craftsmanship, though, we were even more impressed with Jesus. When I first picked up the car, Jesus mentioned that he had to replace the windshield washer nozzles, because they broke when he removed them to install the wrap. Also, before I drove away, I noticed that the powered driver's side mirror wasn't working properly; it's possible some debris may have gotten into the mechanism and caused it to break the first time I tried to adjust the mirror. Now, given that this is a 12-1/2 year old vehicle that has spent most of its life sitting outside in the elements, either of those things could easily have been blamed on wear-and-tear. Jesus, however, replaced everything at no cost to me. I even offered to pay half for replacing the mirror, but he would have none of it. This is not just an honest businessman but someone who wants to do right by his customers! If you're considering a wrap for your vehicle, Jesus and Clean Wrap Customs gets my highest recommendation. I'm also considering taking my Jeep Wrangler for him to add ceramic tint in the near future.
