Alpine Spa At Icicle Village Resort - My husband hanging with me in the relaxation room

She also rested bottles of lotion or oils on his legs during the massage. Things were dropped and fumbled with. The playlist was absolutely, insanely tonally inconsistent. It would transition from Christmas-tinged to Chinese to white noise, all at varying volumes. It was very disorienting and made it nearly impossible to relax. My masseuse was very good, with a wonderful bedside manner, and is the only reason my review isn't 1 star, especially for the price point. Disappointing.

Moreover, I…read morewas disappointed to learn that in rescheduling, even though there were two slots available, only one time was booked, accommodating only 1 of the 2 people. I am aware of the 72 hour cancelation policy but was unaware that that policy did not go both ways. When canceling and changing my appointment, I did not even get a discount until I prompted the attendant, even though I would have had to pay full price for a massage I did not recieve if the the roles were reveresed. It is extremely disheartening to then discover that my partner could not fully enjoy thier massage because they felt guilty the whole time. I will be returning to Leavenworth but I will not be visiting this establishment again.

The waitress/hostess at the restaurant, Cassandra, was wonderful and did a great job. The manager lady who checked us in when we got there was very nice and helpful. I wish the facility would do more to warn people that the Library Suite is a private cabin and not an actual library for them to knock on the door and try to come in. That happened 12 times in the 5 days we were there.

The only other place we found to be a dog friendly hotel with a vacancy was Sleeping Lady Lodge. We spent two nights for 500/night plus an additional 50/night for an under 10 pound dog. Be prepared to use a cart provided to get your stuff from the parking lot to your room, about 200 yards round trip for us. You get a map at check-in and there are a couple of maps along the trails to help you find your room. Pool appeared locked and the "Grotto" bar closed. You can grab a small cup of coffee at the office. If you want your room cleaned each day, they ask that you call and let them know. Run out of the four, one-cup Nescafé coffee pods they supply? You have to call them before 7am the next morning or come pick up what's left at the office. They tasted terrible to me. They do provide an electric teapot so if you bring instant coffee or tea, you can make your own. There is a small fridge but no microwave. No TV either, but that was okay with us. There is a broom so you can sweep your own floor. This time of year you will track in sand from the walkways if you come inside with your shoes on. Our room had a double bed and a twin. Down comforters on both but the beds were not very comfortable. On site breakfast buffet was an additional 25 per person when it's free at many other hotels in town. This is a nice place if you don't mind a rustic cabin type room with rickety furniture. Good water pressure and heat. Loved the heating rack in the bathroom to warm towels or dry clothing. No fan in bathroom so it gets humid in there if you shower or bathe and can be stinky if you...well, you know. Tub/shower/toilet in bathroom. Sink and mirror in sleeping area. Minimal seating (old swivel chair and lounge chair.) If you want a McDonalds-like egg McMuffin, coffee and/or a pastry for breakfast there is a little coffee shop by the main road. Otherwise, plan to drive 4 miles into town. Ditto for lunch and/or dinner. Bottom Line: You're not coming here to pay for the service or upscale accommodations (though you wouldn't know it from the price.) You're paying for the quiet, woodsy atmosphere the place provides, the dark sky at night, and the mountain surroundings which are beautiful.

Once again we stayed in the Evergreen Suite and once again it was a total, relaxing, romantic delight. And once again Barbara was the most gracious, warmest, friendliest host we've ever known. And the woman knows how to cook. She made a mock Eggs Benedict casserole what was delicious. Served as the 1st course of fresh fruit and cream over a flat breakfast pastry that was simple but beautiful and also delicious. She even told us about her son's new burger place in town and gave us a discount coupon. The burgers and fries turned out to be the best we've ever had. We hope to make it an annual event to celebrate our wedding anniversary at All Seasons River Inn. We got to look inside the other suites and we found at least two that would fit the romantic bill should the Evergreen Suite be taken on the weekend we plan our visit. Barbara is a very special person and her inn more than reflects this. It's the only place we'll stay in Leavenworth.

We picked, at random, a bed and breakfast in Leavenworth, hoping to get some time away...wow did this place deliver! We had an adorable room (The Cascade) at ground level, with a private patio opening up to the stream below. The room came equipped with a huge jetted bathtub, bath salts, candles, plush robes, and the soothing sounds of the stream outside. Upon venturing out of the room we discovered an entertainment room containing a stocked fridge with soft drinks, a kettle with hot water and tea bags, and a large collection of board games and movies to watch on the communal TV. Breakfast in the morning was superb, and the couple running the inn are very sweet and accommodating. We got exactly what we wanted for our anniversary, we have nothing but good things to say about this adorable inn!

We just completed our solar design and install project with Artisan Electric…read more(www.artisanelectricinc.com) It was an outstanding professional experience overall -- smoothly managed, and super pleasant people to work with from the beginning to end. And their follow-up to my subsequent questions has also been excellent. From the first inquiry over the Artisan website (www.artisanelectricinc.com) to the first conversations with the rep about the various system options; and on through the design and layout process with him; on into the site preparation walk-through with the general foreman; and all throughout the install experience with the crew. The crew was always prompt, professional, and managed a clean, well-organized work project space in/around our house, and they were all super pleasant to work with. Strong team! More to the point when we hit an install hiccup -- upon seeing the panels layout on the front street side of our low flat roof and were unhappy with the way it looked (not Artisan's fault but a failure of imagination on our part) -- we deeply appreciated the quick response to my email about it from our Artisan rep and the crew's professional "let's put our heads together and find a solution" mentality. In my experience that's where the rubber really hits the road with any contractor and everyone involved managed an efficient, calm, and solutions-oriented approach in partnership with us that ended up with an even-better solution. We also appreciate a union crew and seeing diverse representation on it. That matters to us -- in addition to high quality, fairly priced work. ;)
