I had my $12,000 dollar cart less than a month, there was a drag on the right side front wheel, I only put 46 miles on it, and my right front tire was already showing wear. I contacted them, even sent in pictures, they said they would take care of it and put on a new tire. The tech said that I hear the wear because the cart isn't enclosed, he blames it on the new pads. I have never heard that in my life, they did not put on a new tire, like they said they would. They said on the paperwork, that they had to dial in the toe, which tells me, it wasn't right. Got my cart fixed via warranty very quickly and picked it up at the course where it was broken. Also they were great when I bought it.

Unfortunately, it took so long without any return calls or even an estimate, I had to go retrieve my cart. All needed was to get the headlights and horn back on. Somehow when another shop put in new radio and CD player wires got pulled off or crossed. So never got it fixed, Maybe, it was because they were so busy. I had to retrieve my Parade Golf Cart on Thursday (Aug 1st). Took in on 24th at 8 am and after three calls to try to get some information, with no return calls, I just picked it up and took to another cart service. It is a Shriners Clown Parade cart. I wouldn't have mine if they would have just bothered calling me to give me an update. I could say more but I hate sounding negative against anybody. read more

This review has to do with sales only. I never actually visited the shop, because I didn't have to. I already knew I wanted the Icon i40L cart and contacted the shop via email. The owner, Ryan, promptly contacted me via email and told me he would be able to order the cart I wanted with about a 6 week build and arrival time. He also attached a price list for each model of the carts and the list contained prices for every upgrade that is available for the cart. If you know you might use this on the public street, I highly recommend getting the street legal package even if you don't think you will need it. You can always register it PNO through DMV for a small fee if not operating it on the road. I also highly recommend the battery fill system upgrade. That system is worth every cent you spend on it, because it makes life extremely easy to fill all the batteries. Ryan always responded to my questions in a timely manner and he was a pleasure to speak with on the telephone. After ordering the cart in the configuration I selected, the cart arrived right on time. We opted to have the cart shipped to our house. Ryan quickly lined up a shipping company who drove it to my residence without any issues. The Icon carts are some nice looking machines and seem to be top quality carts. Although I never visited the store or saw Ryan in person, the experience I had with him was perfect and I would recommend them to family or friends. read more

Walked into to EMS to gather some information about the process, options, 0% financing, warranty and to see the cars they had in the showroom. Promptly being greeted and toured around. All my questions were able to be answered in a timely fashion. We opted to have a cart ordered after having some lunch. Cart was shipped with communication provided via the staff at Electrik. The one hiccup involved was getting our cart street legal this was out of Electrik Motorsports hands as it was an icon cart issue with DMV in our lovely state. We have one critique before you have them install any aftermarket or accessories I would have them double check as we are happy with the speakers that are installed we originally opted for a different speaker package. Being that the speakers are drilled into the body we couldn't just swap them out. Delivery was very easy and stress-free and is all a part of the cost with no additional charge that I'm aware of. After a few weeks of owning, we got notified, that icon settled their agreement with CA DMV. We are currently awaiting further an actual license plates, but was told it should be in the short term. All in all, we are very happy with our purchase, the car is a great looking cart that should be around for a long time. About 100 miles so far with no issues. read more

I had Jarrett come out and do a maintenance check in my golf cart that was having a bunch of problems with going into 'limo mode' and uneven acceleration. He was able to quickly diagnose it as an 'engine overhead' error using the Ezgo diagnostics console. He went right to the problem which was a cable connection that was under pressure and one of the pins had pulled out a fraction causing intermittent operation. He loosened the cable and got it put back together and the problem was fixed!! He tie wrapped everything and made sure it would never happen again. He also thorough tested the batteries under 60 minutes of load - checked all the other parts of the cart - rotated the tires - everything !!! Well worth the $145. We talked thru battery life and what I might do when the batteries finally age out. Overall a wonderful experience and not extra charges. He even fixed two of the watering valves which were under warranty. Can't be happier read more

This place is bogus. However we stopped on the way home at Nicks custom golf carts and was met by Kathy and they where wonderful. Both my neighbor and myself bought carts a few months back and the service couldn't have been better! Ryan, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible. After a few months my head and taillights stopped working. I called in to see how I could get it serviced and was told a tech could come to my house to take a look. I was also given a few things to check before the tech came out and the recommendations worked, and I was able to fix it myself. I called this company last Friday to make an appt. to have my husband's golf cart picked up & taken in to have new batteries installed. I talked to Jessica & she said they would be here today (Mon.) between 10:30 & 11:30. I asked her to tell the driver to ignore the GPS as it would likely take him to our neighbors house. I gave them the address & I said to look it on a large mailbox, right hand side of the street. At 1pm they still weren't here so I called & found out they didn't even have us on the schedule. The person I talked to apologized & said they had someone going to Lincoln in the next hour & would pick up the cart then. I had to give our address again & I also repeated the info about the GPS problems & he said he would make a note for the driver. About an hour later the driver calls & says he's at the driveway but the gate is locked. I said that I guessed they forgot to give him the info about the GPS & he had passed us so would have to turn around. Then when he finally got here he started in complaining that he wasn't going to be able to turn around. I told him there shouldn't be any problem that people with long trailers turn around all the time with no problem. Well, it all went downhill from there. He told me I should have been courteous enough to let the office know that there would be problems turning a trailer around! Huh? I had no idea what he would be driving so why is that on me? Plus, anyone with basic driving skills can turn around in our driveway even pulling a long trailer. Well, his first attempt at backing made it pretty obvious that those basic driving skills were lacking - he ended up clear off the driveway & halfway up the hill, almost getting stuck! He did finally get turned around but kept going on & on, continuing to blaming me for not telling the office about our driveway. I finally got fed up & told him that our driveway wasn't the problem as my truck & 4 horse trailer was just as long as his rig & I'd been backing it around in our driveway for years. Then he snottily asked me how many years it took me to learn how to do it! I told him that actually I did it on the very first try! Then he again started harping about how he went to the wrong address & that was my fault too as I gave crappy directions! I told him my directions for him were the same as I give everyone & it seems like he is the only one that couldn't follow them. I had about 20 people come this weekend to buy chicks & every single one of them found our address just fine. This guy just wouldn't shut up & quit playing the blame game & he was very rude & condescending the whole time. At this point I'd had enough & told him to forget the whole thing & just leave. I would have dropped it there & not bothered with a review, but this argumentative twit then proceeds to get a camera from his truck & take pictures of hubby's cart. Tells me he wants to show his boss the horrible condition of this cart we expected him to pick up for them to work on. What? Well, yes, it does need a new front seat, which is something I was going to ask them about & see if they could put in a new one as a surprise for hubby. But other than that it isn't bad for a cart that is a ranch & work cart, going over rough terrain, hauling wood, etc. Plus, no matter what it looks like, is there some standard a cart has to meet before they'll work on it? I mean, we were paying for new batteries & the labor to install them, so what difference does it make what the cart looks like? If they don't deem it worthy of being worked on, are they going to do a crappy job of installing the batteries? Or worse yet, maybe they'll not bother to replace all the batteries & even leave several of the old ones in there. I didn't know there was such a thing as discrimination against a cart!! So if you need your cart worked on & it's an older cart or not in pristine condition, best find someone else to work on it. It sounds like their work ethic goes up & down according to the condition of the vehicle they're working on. And if you do decide to deal with this company anyway, better make sure you have driveway as big as a Walmart parking lot & lots of balloons & a spotlight on your mailbox. Their driver is obviously directionally challenged & has the driving skills of a brain damaged monkey. read more

I bought a new golf cart from Electrick Motorsports. It was top-of-the-line with a lot of extras. Total was over $12,000. They were happy to take my money, but when I needed service, forget it! There were some minor problems with the cart. The USB ports were inoperative, the horn was not connected, the body panels were crooked. Then something major happened. The rear axle wasn't installed properly and rotated out of position. The cart was inoperative. They quoted me $300 to pick it up and they wouldn't be able to repair it for almost two months. I called EZGO and they told me any dealer can do warranty work, so I called A&T in Napa and they had it repaired in two days with a $150 pickup fee. I'm sorry I bought from Electrick Motorsports and will never return there. read more

What a joke! I spent 4 hours and $100 on a trailer to drive my 2002 GEM car up there from the Bay Area after them telling me that they work on GEMs all the time. I explained to Britney that my car has been customized and listed exactly what I had done, she assured me that I should drive it up and they would have no problem fixing it. I showed up there with my car and they told me they had no idea how to work on it. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME and MONEY! Why couldn't you just tell me over the phone that you were incompetent? After getting back home, I called to try and get a further explanation, after 3 calls without a response, I had to share my experience on Yelp. If you can help it, find elsewhere to bring your EV. I bought a custom golf car from Electrick Motorsports and dealt directly with the owner who was very knowledgeable and down to earth. His shop/showroom is very clean and organized and he can do just about anything you can imagine to a golf car.
