Quick delivery on a hard-to-get electrical breaker. Nice job, and courteous service!

I was there last week and purchased a roll of Sod and placed it in my car amoung other items. I peeked at it, it seemed ok but I did not want to unravel the entire roll as it makes a mess in car ect. Got home and rolled out the sod to find 90% of it was dead. These things happen someone did not water it or it came in with this issue. Regardless I took a photo and said to myself next time I am in Newington I will show them the photo and get a credit. I went back to store a few days later. I went to customer service and was greated by 3 folks who thought that my issue was funny. They told me that I had to bring in the wet dirty roll of dead sod. I said that is unaceptable. They promptly told me thats their policy. I told then to please get a MOD (manager on duty). A manager did come and explained that they are just doing there job, its company policy. I explained that I had a sales receipt and photo. She promptly gave me a credit. Its the beginning of May and we have not had any days over 70 degrees. Why is this happening? I will not be returning to this store that has no customer service. Why did this happen, and why is the customer inconvenienced? Someone did not do their job. No one said I am sorry for the inconvenience!!! Pass the buck and stick up for employees is not a policy. I will be sure to tell all my neighbors and friends. The policy and attitude of this Home Depot in Newington is a disgrace.

Because I don't like my work to look like chicken sh*t. I told your cashier- so he could pass the word on to the manager and his comment was "it's above my pay grade"! Hahahaha, yeah- You sell 5 different welders and a wall of accessories, but can't carry proper welding wire. I'm done shopping at your store. Nobody was helpful & you DO NOT CARRY A REAL SELECTION OF WELDING WIRE!! WASTED 3 hrs of my time. Thank you.

My wife took advantage of a Black Friday deal as it was more than half off the new price. As with any refurbished item, we expected scratches, dings, and possibly a rebuilt carburetor etc. What I did not expect was to open the air filter and find it soaking in dark oil, which is something I figured would be checked and mentioned. After finding this out, I spoke to someone (unnamed) over the phone on the 5th day of the return, as I personally was unable to come in that day due to an extremely important medical appointment. "No problem. Come in tomorrow and ask for me directly. Just bring it down and I'll take care of it." I thanked this person for being helpful and understanding. Fast forward to this afternoon, I load the item into my vehicle and drive the half hour in the snow to do just that. "I can't take it with gas in it" is the first thing said to me by the same individual after greeting them and noticing the name tag. Should I have known that? Maybe, but "just bring it down and ask for me" is what I was going off of. After mentioning this, the representative said "I did say that, my bad" and proceeds to tell me he can't take it back either way. Now I understand that my personal medical issues are not the problem of Harbor Freight or it's employees, but I mentioned this before coming in, once for the day before I arrived, and once for a separate appointment the day of. I was made to feel that it would all be just fine. A quick return and I'd be on my way to an extremely important and time sensitive meeting. I left lots of time in between, fearing that something like this may come up. After telling me "too bad" essentially, I was told I could purchase more items (a bucket and hand pump) to remove the gas before bringing it inside. Now I'm outside in the rain/snow pumping gasoline out of an item that was purchased and did not work in the first place, using items I had to buy in order to return said broken item. My very visible discomfort and disappointment was obvious, yet no "sorry" or anything like it was even touched on. I understand retail, and the woes of customer reviews and behavior having worked in retail for many many years myself, and I promise that this was not an irrational customer seeking attention. I am shocked, and honestly, disgusted with how everything happened. Great discount tools is what I expect and have always gotten, not discount customer service and discount attention to detail. This has been a massive and unnecessary disappointment.

COREY would not honor the sale price even though I showed him the pictures and that I was just there on Tuesday. Then he was trying to provoke me by saying you should've bought it them. Moot point. That's the way they treat women in this store. I had bought a home 1 yr. Ago. Bought lawnmower, power drill, snowblower, cellular shades and myriad of other household hardware at Lowe's. I left the store utterly perturbed. However, I returned because I needed the tool chest. Corey wouldn't mark it down to the sale price, but wanted me to open a Lowe's charge and he would give me $100 off.... But I already had a charge. I'm not finished with this story yet.
