We are remodeling our master bathroom and it was recommended by our contractor and bath design company that we use Ferguson for our faucets, shower and toilet. When we visited the showroom (we did not have an appointment), a very pleasant and helpful counter person asked Gay Wanner, inside sales, to work with us. Gay appeared to be very irritated to be asked and acted as though we were an imposition. When we asked for help in picking out faucets and a shower, she just told us to go look at the displays and tell her what we liked. When we asked about toilets, she just pointed to a wall and said "there they are". She did not ask any questions or offer any advice. She was very unhelpful. We made some choices and she wrote down our order and said to watch our email for a quote. It has been almost 2 weeks and we have not received any communication from Ferguson. We visited the Koehler showroom in Poulsbo and received excellent service & choices where we made our order and had it filled within a day.

They have signs up that say they are closing (but there is also a "we're hiring" sign so not sure what the story is; no one on the staff talked to us while we were there). Why do go in? The selection is incredible. I always thought "Lamps PLUS" meant just plus-the-awesomeness, lamps only. No, the "plus" means they have other things - mirrors, tables, wall sculptures. We weren't exactly sure what was on sale - if it was everything and/or just the some things that had special clearance signs. The gigantic and amazing chandeliers, way out of our budget and way too big for our residence but SO gorgeous. The best deals in the store, imo, were the bathroom lights. Also, they have a very large selection of outdoor lights (like if you have a light in front of your door or flanking your garage).

We think we've ordered the right breakers, if we can get a box to hold them. Down we go to CED. Us: We have MODEL 30 and 20 amp breaker and need a box to put them in, for a hot tub. Counter Guy: Most hot tubs need a 50 Amp breaker. Us: Understood, but this tub is unusual, Electrician brought breakers and they won't work. C.G.: While electrician? Us: Company... C.G. My U-Joint went out in my Jeep 2 weeks ago…read more I was sold a U-Joint by O'Reilly's and with a *LOT* of work, I got the old U-Joint out and pushed the new one to find out it was the wrong part. :-( Exasperated, I took the assembly on either side of the U-Joint to Drivelines NW and rather than look up the part by model year, they measured it and had the correct part on hand and installed it for me relatively quickly and for a very reasonable price. So count me as a fan!

I asked when it would be done and he said two days later in the AM, which I watched him write on the work order. He also asked if I wanted it spin balanced (I said yes). He asked if I wanted the two piece driveshaft assembled or in two pieces, I asked for it separated. It is quite long and heavy when assembled and difficult to fit in my other car. Today when I arrived to get the driveshaft, it not ready when they said. After waiting about 90 minutes they had it done. Assembled, not separated. Not spin balanced. They are three for three in failures: -Failure to meet the time they offered -Failure to spin balance as requested (the entire reason why I didn't do the job myself) -Failure to follow my request for separate halves. People really need to try a bit harder.

It worked but the body was all loosy goosey and damaged . They gave me an estimate of repairs and new cord etc. it needed. They also said that their restorer guy Master Bob could possibly PERK UP its look since it had no patina or appeal the way it was now.
