Turns out the service work that All Wire Electric did (one that should last 5+ years) began failing catastrophically within 2. The panel was removed to reveal heavy water leakage INTO the panel, causing a severe safety concern. This would have been bearable if after contacting them, they felt that they could come address it. Not only were they not willing to make logistics work to have somebody to even inspect it until 2 weeks out, they were unwilling to apply a warranty to it and were planning to charge me in full for the repair. So if you're good with a company that won't stand behind their work despite posing a dangerous safety concern to your at home residents because it's "outside their 1 year timeframe", then feel free to use them. If you'd prefer not risk being blown up, I'd recommend another set of folks.

Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of my experience. After completing the work, the technician forgot to reconnect the washer's drain line. When my tenant later used the washer, water flooded my condo. The flood caused more than $10,000 in property damage, and because the unit had to undergo repairs, I also lost several months of rental income. What disappointed me most was not just the mistake itself. Any contractor can make a mistake. It was how the company handled it. Instead of taking responsibility for their technician's oversight, they refused to accept accountability and repeatedly pointed fingers elsewhere rather than working with me to resolve the situation. A professional company should stand behind its work, especially when a preventable mistake causes significant financial loss for a customer. They gave us the most reasonable quote among the several options we considered. The team was very responsive and cordial on the phone. They were also reachable via text. Scheduling was easy and straightforward. They required a 50% deposit to book, and collected the rest of the payment after the job was done. The team showed up around 8am, finished around 5/6pm. And, most importantly, they didn't give us any surprise additional cost which is what happened when we had gotten our flooring done. The one thing I wish was different is that the electricians came in and out of the house with their shoes on. It was rainy that day, and I appreciate them doing their hard work despite the rain. However, they tracked dirt throughout my entire house. And one of my previously white bath mats got completely ruined. Also, they swept the insulation, but forgot to clean up the dust from drilling into our walls. As a mom with a toddler that sometimes licks the floor, I really wish I didn't have to clean the whole house again when I had just done it the day prior. All in all, the team was efficient and did their job well - we now have working outlets in all the bathrooms. Just wish they respected my home a little more as they did their work.
