We visited Electric Eats with our granddaughter August, 2025. This restaurant is in a great location. It is very clean, and the decor is fresh and modern. We were seated at a table at the window, with a view to the street. There is also a limited amount of outdoor seating. We all had Burgers. Mine was The Classic, on a gluten-free bun, with a side of Salad. Hubby had Slaw with his Burger, and the granddaughter chose Fries as her side. This was a first visit for all of us. The food was good, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We would return. read more

I went here when my aunt and uncle were visiting. The food was good. I enjoyed my chicken. The server was prompt but not personable, that is okay though. They kept our drink filled and checked to make sure everything was okay. I liked the setup. There was an open air bar facing the alley. read more

The 3 missing stars are definitely from the flys. They have to come up with better fly control. The flys almost flew me out of there I fanned my entire meal. The smash burgers was just a. Small patty definitely disappointed. The waffle fries were the best thing on my plate. Hot and crispy and presented every well in the basket. We were in downtown Aiken browsing the shops and we stopped to look at the menu and I had to try the peach Long Island ice tea. So we came in and my Mom and I saw the pecan bourbon, so she had to try a shot of it. So yummy, she shared. My Hubby had a few Stella's and wanted to try shrimp corn dogs. It only comes with two, we ordered two orders of them. Wow! I've never had anything like it. HUGE shrimp and so yummy. I've never been to a bar where there is two bars and it faces the alley way and people can walk up and get a drink. So cool! read more

Knowing that this is the sister restaurant to Neon Fig brought a level of expectancy I have not had for quite some time. I knew the space (though unfortunate due to it being the former home of Aiken Brewing Company), but the menu had been kept a secret. I like keeping secrets, but not secrets kept with me. So I was there for their Grand Opening (which was also their first day open). The place was buzzing as I walked down the Alley (due to their outdoor facing bar-you can order drinks and food there!). The outdoor seating in the front was full and walking in, it appeared the inside seating was as well. But luck favors the hungry (at least that's what I believe). There was one table available, and by the front door no less. I always order water, but also requested the NA Stella (which is their only non alcoholic option). I hadn't tried it yet. They were out so I stuck to water, and later coffee. I started with the nacho fries. Waffle fries topped with jalapenos, cheese, corn salsa, and taco meat (protein is optional-taco meat, tofu, grilled chicken, or fried chicken). That could have been a meal in itself. If you are ordering for one, come hungry! Also, it was delicious. Then I went for the ribeye sandwich. It includes a Jack Daniels sauce and melted cheese. I chose slaw for the side, as I didn't want more waffle fries. I also added a side of macaroni and cheese. Good call on my part, for both. The red cabbage slaw was moist and crisp. The mac and cheese was perfectly cooked with plenty of cheese. And that sandwich, it has set the standard for the rest. I want to try them all now. Quality is in the details. From the ribeye to the bun to the balance of flavors, it was perfection. I am not sure if they have dessert, as I had to tap out after all that but I will be back soon to find out. This is a very good choice to eat a very good Reuben sandwich if you are uptown in Aiken, SC. I ate at their bar area and kept it simple. A sandwich with chips and a Diet Coke. Everything was very nice and the service was really good. The Reuben was so large that I had to ask for a carry out container. This was at what southerners call dinner or lunch for all others. We had a table of 4 on Thursday night and had a lovely time. This restaurant renovated the old Aiken Brew Pub and opened up the entire downstairs where their is window seating and three bars (2 parallel to each other on each side and one that serves people outside in the Alley. See photos. They also have a bar upstairs so very cool and festive! Our food was delicious but I only took photos of the corn ribs which were very good but messy to eat. We had the Cobb salad, Wedge salad and Fried Fish sandwich. All 5 stars! read more

Service was excellent. I ran into trouble with the picnic burger So Clearly McDonald's Own the History with Special Sauce two Patties. So when I read Electric Sauce I'm thinking the Classic. Wrong it's a white sauce with Tarragon a leafy herb with a licorice taste. I wish the menu had been more clear on exactly what electric sauce was when it deviated so far from burger historical loves of ketchup, mustard, mayo to suddenly black licorice. Possibly my fault too for not asking in detail. Because I would have modified my order and been totally happy. Nice location outside and inside seating. Beer was delicious read more

FIRST..I love this restaurant and the staff. I only have one complaint and even if it's the only time it's mentioned, I guarantee you it's supported by many. TURN OFF THAT STUPID OUTDOOR BAR FAN!!! You can't hear the bartender, it's frickin October and I wanted a jacket at the bar. C'mon. My group and many at the bar over time have had the same complaint and when asked politely if it could be turned off... We are told by bartender "Sorry we can't without approval" . Came here for lunch. It's a small place with only about 8 tables that seat 4, two tall tables that seat six and two long bars. Staff were pretty friendly and attentive. The food took forever (like 45 minutes). This is bar grub, so not low cal or healthy, but I was happy to see they had a grilled fish sandwich. The fish was good. I tried not to eat the fries but had a few. They were delicious! My friend's burger looked amazing and she said it was good. I'd also ordered collard greens, but I couldn't eat them as they were too salty. I could tell there was good seasoning underneath, but I couldn't get past the salt. Nice place for pub food. Nice selection of sandwiches. We had the shrimp & bacon quesadilla and the grouper po'boy. We don't drink so can't comment on those. Our server was prompt in waiting on our table but we were there on a Thursday evening and not a lot of diners. Mostly at the bar. It's a very large space with high ceiling. I usually eat on the south side of Aiken, SC but recently had a really nice reuben sandwich with fries and sweet tea at their bar. Just so-so. Bland food. I was expecting more at the prices charged. Service was fair, food was just not in line with the price.

The decor and service are good. The food is overpriced for being just so so. I was excited to try it and wasn't impressed.

I am trying to like this place, especially as it was needed after the Aiken Brewery closed, but I just cannot. I have gone in a number of times hoping they would improve since opening, they have not. The management spent lots of money cleaning up the space and making it look chic, but they should have spent money on employee training. The bar staff always look like they wish they were someplace else, are sullen and dour, and they never acknowledge you when you sit down. Every time I go in they look past me (and others who have gone and reported the same) continue to do something else including just tidying up and cleaning bar ware, all the while you sit and wonder if they noticed you came in. After a ten minute wait where the bartender never even said "I'll be with you in a moment," my friend got up and went to the other bar and got a drink. The manager saw this, tried to make it up, but never said anything to the offending bar tender. And the bar tenders must measure out each pour, taking time and slowing down service, no wonder it takes 20 minutes just to get a drink. The table staff vary, some are ok, but not great either. The food is okay, nothing special or interesting. The beer and wine offerings are limited too, not good for a place that passes itself off with bar grub. Passable, but not worth what they are charging. I wonder if Electric Eats will be open this time next year. I have noticed fewer people going and hear the same stories from others. read more
