I got my nose pierced on vacation about two months ago and today the whole stud fell out and there was no way I would have been able to get it back in myself. I went to Electric Bodymod to see if they could do it for me and they were so kind and helpful! Got it done in about 15mins! They even let me know that the shop who did the original piercing used a larger gauge than usual and got me set up with a smaller one that was more aligned with the look I wanted. My wife and I have been coming here for a couple of years now to get various piercings and referring family and friends whenever they want piercings. Always was a good an experience. I recently bought an infinity jewelry bracelet and was told to come back because they didn't have the right hardware in stock and a temporary fix was put in place. I went back the following week only for them to do another temporary, albeit better job, and was once again told I would get a call "next week" for the permanent hardware. A week goes by and I decide to call for an update and am once again told "next week". This goes on for about a month. During my final call I am pretty much told to F off (but in a nicer way) by the person answering the phone and that I should be happy with the temporary job on the bracelet and that they have "no idea" when more of the appropriate sized hardware is coming in. Terrible customer service and follow up. Will not be going back and will make sure to refer people to other shops read more

Went here the other day, on Tuesday. I was inquiring about prices for earlobe piercings. I ended up getting pierced that day by Natalie. It was a bit of a wait while Natalie was getting everything in the room ready. But once she started it went by quick. She mapped out the third piercing and explained to me that she was trying to get an even space between the second and third piercing so it didn't look funny. Afterwards, she gave me a sheet with the information on my piercing including the type of metal, the size of the needle which I thought was helpful. Overdue post (sorry Genesis)!!!!! I went in on February 3rd and had my Daith & Double Helix pierced by Genesis. Shop is super clean, sterile and Genesis (the owner) was inviting, had great bedside manner & was super informative. She didn't pressure me to buy aftercare directly from her, she provided alternatives that were super affordable (which I find great). During the piercing, she told me to take a deep breath in and pierced on breathing out. I found that helped a lot while having the needle go through my ear. I was absolutely in love with my piercings that I couldn't stop staring at it. I've wanted these for so long and I finally had the balls and money to do it. $70 for Daith w/ Titanium Jewelry $70 for Double Helix with Basic Jewelry After a few days I noticed my double helix never stopped throbbing with slight pain and I also noticed my ear was swelling up pretty bad. Part of it was because I accidentally dinged my ear when I was showering and then I also rolled over while sleeping and woke up immediately because it hurt. TIP FOR SLEEPING : Use a travel pillow!! It was my best friend! Anywho, I thought because I dinged my ear a couple times, that's why my ear was swelling and throbbing. I also have a high pain tolerance and didn't want to go in and find out I'm just being a big baby about it. I don't like looking like a sissy. By February 9th, I literally thought my bottom helix fell out so I looked everywhere for my jewelry but couldn't find it. Come to find out, it sunk in. I immediately went into the shop and saw the girl working that day. She called Genesis to let her know and she helped me remove both piercings and put in a titanium hoop. I couldn't handle the pain with the 2nd piercing so I unfortunately lost out on that ear. Definitely lesson learned that my ears are more sensitive than the rest of my body. The next week my ear was draining like crazy with all the puss. Since my ears were so badly infected, Genesis followed up with me... she cleaned and disinfected my ear and recommended I get antibiotic pills to help the infection. I did just as she recommended. She followed up with me every day to see how I was doing. It truly shows how much she cares for her clients and business that she went out of her way to keep tabs on me EVERY DAY. I worked 2 jobs and had a crazy schedule so she told me she'll work with my schedule and I was suuuuuper appreciative of how flexible she was with me. In the end, my ears drained like crazy (all the pus buildup from the infection/swelling)... it was gross but cool at the same time (yes I'm a weirdo).. and I'm still in love with my piercings. AND YES I PLAN ON RETURNING AND GETTING MY DOUBLE HELIX RE-PIERCED. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GENESIS!! **Yes I know we're on quarantine for the covid outbreak. This is an overdue/late review. read more

I have fully healed lobe piercings (two on each side), and I've been having a terrible time finding earrings that don't bother my ears. I came in here looking for something that my sensitive ears wouldn't reject. I ended up getting two sets of titanium flat-back studs (one opal and one black gemstone). My ears are not irritated with these!! They had to stretch out my piercings a little because I guess I had a tiny gauge piercing - but it was easy as pie and Genesis did an amazing job! The wait was a little long, but I didn't have an appointment and Genesis made up for it 100%. The jewelry was sterilized using an autoclave machine, and my ears were cleaned with alcohol prior to insertion. Everyone had gloves & masks. Also I saw the receptionist clean everything down with alcohol in the lobby *twice* during my visit, so this place is super super clean. 10/10. read more

Love that they're still open during covid. I booked an appointment 2 hours before and was approved about half an hour later. I came in first when the shop opened so genesis the owner was able to accommodate me before other guests. They can only let a few people in (1 or 2) at once, depending on staffing, so I'm glad I booked the first appointment to come in first. You have to book an appointment online (on their Facebook theres a link), be approved, and then call when you get there before they allow you in. I did three lobe piercings and love how it turned out! I got one on one lobe and 2 on the other line. The jewelry she has in the store are also some of the most daintiest, cleanest, classiest looking jewelry I've seen! Definitely recommend checking them out. We have had all of our piercings, including our daughters' very first lobe piercings done at electric body mod...until yesterday. It was my birthday and another local piercing studio was offering a few specials. My daughters and I all wanted new piercings. I thought it would be a super fun birthday treat for us. WRONG!! The other studio was NOTHING like EBM. The piercer was very unfriendly, place wasn't overly clean, and they had NO jewelry to choose from at all. We had unfortunately purchased gift cards in advance to get the discounts or we would not have stayed. I didn't even end up getting the piercings I wanted bc the owner was so rude and unprofessional. I didn't trust her to do the piercings I wanted. Definitely a disappointing birthday and not at all the special outing I had anticipated with my daughters. I learned the hard way that we will NEVER again go anywhere but EBM. Services and jewelry are more expensive but you are paying for a much higher level of experience, service, etc. I have referred hundreds of people to Genesis over the years and can't believe I went somewhere else. Took my mom to get her ear re-pierced and this is something very foreign to her as it has been 40+ years since she has done it. We walk into this incredibly clean and nicely set up shop. There were a couple of people in front of us so we were a little worried it would take forever. They assured us it would be maybe a 30-40 min experience including the piercing so that eased our mind. This location takes walk ins only which I thought was very interesting. We signed her in and waited our turn, soon, Raeleen came over to us and thoroughly explained all of the metal options, actively listened to my mom and her concerns, and have her very genuine suggestions as to what to do next. We eventually made it into the room and Raeleen was SO PATIENT (with me and her) about placement and ever so carefully explained every step she was doing and showed us the sterilized tools and walked through the process to make sure there was no surprises. After it was done, it was a very good experience for the both of us, I'm not new to piercing but seeing my mom First nervous and worried to being at ease was refreshing. I've gotten my 3rd lobe piercing and my symmetrical nostril done at here so when my 7 year old asked to get her ears pierced I knew she would be in good hands here but this experience was above and beyond my expectations. My daughter was nervous but the piercer was so calm and gentle. They showed her the room while waiting for the jewelry to be sanitized to help ease her nerves. The piercer fully explained the procedure to my daughter and then told her exactly what was going to happen before they did anything. The piercer asked for her consent before touching her ears and really put in the time to make sure the piercings would be even and symmetrical.
