I had a fantastic experience with Al for my tint and wrap. He was incredibly responsive, answered all my questions, and never pressured me into add-ons. When I needed more time to decide, he gave me all the time I needed. The quality of his workmanship was excellent, and I'm really happy with how everything turned out. From the initial conversations to the finished job, Al made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend Al to anyone looking for a wrap, tint, or ceramic coating. I'll definitely be bringing my next car to him! read more

I had a great experience with Al and Max at Electric Auto Films. I had them install a PPF clear bra on my new Rivian R2. The PPF looks great, and the price was very competitive. I also had them do ceramic coating. I appreciate that they have customers come in to get an inspection a couple weeks after install. The vehicle looks great, and I am happy my paint will be protected. Highly recommended. read more

I used Yelp! to request bids to get my brand new 2026 Model Y Launch Edition wrapped in XPEL paint protection film. Al came in with the best price so I went to Irvine to check out the operation. What a nice place and friendly people! I decided to go with him and have him tint my windows with with Rayno Phantom S-9 nano ceramic 5% tint and lifetime product and ticket warranty and he added ceramic coating to the entire car. Just had my tint done here. Looks great and was very fast and reasonable. Will update if any issues.

I wouldn't recommend this place. They don't tuck the seams and use precut ppf. After 18months, my ppf on my model x is starting to peel. read more

Electric Auto Films - Peeling ppf. - Car Window Tinting Near Me - Santa Ana, California

I had my Cybertruck vinyl wrapped here in April and parts of it are already peeling off. Not only were large pieces that gave the wind coming off but edges that wrap around metal were losing their adhesion too. Luckily, I got a two year warranty so I brought it in on Monday for warranty repairs. Al looked at the areas where the vinyl was coming off and said he will fix it but he needs it for a couple days. I told him I'd bring it back on Wednesday and pick it up on Friday. On Wednesday morning I dropped it off and three hours later. Al called me to say I need to pay him $350 to fix it. Between Monday and Wednesday, he decided the vinyl coming off was due to damage and was not covered under warranty! I decided not to throw good money after bad. Plus I wasted two trips to Irvine. read more

Highly recommend! I had full PPF installed on my Tesla by Electric Auto Films and couldn't be happier with the results. Amazing customer service and the attention to detail is unmatched. Did PPF for my Tesla Model Y - Electric Auto did a great job. Al had a great price, excellent customer service (stayed late for pickup), work was done faster than expected and great attention to detail. Really happy with the overall experience. Taking other cars here from now on! read more

Al quoted a fair price for a full exterior and interior car detailing. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and my car looked like new. Have already recommended them to other family members. read more

Al was great from the beginning, no annoying sales pitches, just a flat quote he offered through Yelp that he honored from the very beginning and never tried to up sell. I originally only wanted my car fully wrapped in XPEL stealth, but decided to get the windows tinted and replace the decals with black matte ones. Even though I added services the car was ready two days earlier than he originally estimated. Not only that, but it was more affordable than other wraps and tint jobs I'd had done and the work was FAR superior. I would use Al and his team again in a heartbeat, but unfortunately I plan to drive and show off my new beautiful car for many years! read more

Took our new 450 E they did such as amazing job . Great pricing kind professionals. I recommend everyone to go there

Electric Auto Films is AWESOME! Al's customer service & his team's work is top-notch, dare say SSR-level! From answering my wife & my questions to managing expectations honestly with full disclosures regarding various options and approaches to PPF one's car (from front-to-full, badge or no badge removal, seams no seams, etc.), he definitely gave us confidence that him & team would do a great job! We are glad we went with full PPF! Al was very accommodating to our schedule and was able to have our car stored there for a few days straight from delivery from the dealership/service center to prevent any potential pre-rock chips or damage to the paint before they PPF'd it. We are grateful he was just as passionate about having the car be protected while looking good as well! Even my supervisor who saw it yesterday after it was completed was amazed as he couldn't even tell there was PPF haha. That's how skilled his staff & team are! What's awesome is that with the 10-year warranty, we would then bring in our car yearly or so for inspection of the PPF to make sure it is working as it should without any issues. Of course you have to take care of the PPF and not abuse it, but if any issues outside normal care arise, we know he will take care & warranty it as needed. Knowing that his shop is under the umbrella of SSR Performance also gives us assurance that the shop will be around for a long time (what would be the point of a 10-year warranty if the shop isn't around anymore by then? lol) Overall, we definitely will be recommending our friends and co-workers to his shop as well as going to them again in the future if we end up with another car that needs PPF! Thanks again Al, you deserve a promotion! :) read more

Al and his team are my favorite business finds of 2025 so far. He started by sharing information to make sure I was aware of every step and walked me through the best options for the project I wanted to do on my car. Helped me to accommodate the work I wanted with my budget and delivered a phenomenal outcome. I am beyond satisfied and will be recommending them to everyone I know. They changed my all white model y to an awesome black and white combo specific to my preference. Tinted all windows and roof and helped de badge and replace chrome accents. Thank You Al. Where do I begin? I called around 10 shops to obtain quotes about PPF, ask questions about what the process entails etc. Of the 10 I spoke with, Ken stood out in a good way. He genuinely seemed interested in helping me out and saving me money along the way. No unnecessary upselling. No pompous gloating "oh we're the best in the business etc." He presented facts in an articulate manner, informed me of the process and what to expect etc. and quoted me a price along with a pickup day/time for when the car would be ready. Upon picking up my car the next day, I was more than ecstatic! They did a tremendous job and went over the deets with me. Everything went smoothly. The PPF blended seamlessly with the car. I'll def be coming back for my other cars. Thank you Ken and the Electric Auto Film team! read more

Great service and excellent value. My new Honda Accord Hybrid looks great. I will recommend Electric Auto Films to friends.

Had a wonderful experience getting my Tesla Model 3 ceramic coated with Electric Auto Films. I saw that they had a promo on Instagram for a 5 year ceramic coating-the pricing was unbelievable. Jumped in on the deal right away, messaged Al, put down a deposit and got it done shortly after. Al was nice enough to give me a ride after dropping off my car, and they finished the ceramic coating service the same day. Al also went over how to maintain the ceramic coating and answered any and all questions I had about the procedure. The ceramic coating Tesla also came out great! I would highly recommend this place, and eventually am looking to do PPF for my car in the future so I would highly consider them for that as well. read more

If you want it done right, then this is the place to go! I absolutely 100% recommend Electric Auto Films! Al (contact) was patient in answering all of my questions and providing multiple quotes as I was undecided as to which type of PPF coverage to go with. In an effort to stay within my budget, I ended up doing a full front PPF and a ceramic coating. The PPF application was immaculate. When it came time to pick up my vehicle, I was surprised to find that Al also had the interior of my vehicle cleaned/detailed. Absolutely love the customer service and the quality. read more

I came across this business on a random Google search for window tinting and decided to give it a try. Kenley answered and was super patient and thorough when explaining the PPF process/benefits and tinting options. I also messaged a few other businesses for price comparisons (lacking customer service) and ultimately decided on Electric Auto Films due to Kenley's outstanding customer service and competitive pricing. My project took a few days as Kenley wanted to make sure the films had enough time to settle and dry. My car looked amazing and detailed upon pickup. I was really on the fence about doing a full paint protection for my brand new Mustang Mach E. The prices I was being quoted were just way out of my budget. I got a quote from electric auto films and they met my budget so I brought the car in. I've read about the Tesla Y issues with paint chips from the front especially since there is no grille. I was fortunate enough to find Electric Auto Films with a year end special. Decided to go with the full front film and added the ceramic coating. With a 10 year warranty on the film and 9 years on the ceramic, the value could not be beat. I dropped off my car in the morning then picked up the next day. Al was friendly and communicates well. Easy process and I was very satisfied with the end result.
