Another great restaurant in the Port Olimpico redevelopment. Id been to the flagship La Cocina de Hermanos Torres a while back and was excited to hear they had a new place. This is a non tasting menu celebration of the seas. It aits looking at the port and the chefs will bring you their array of seafood of the day. I asked for something a bit off menu. Since they had caribineros and bogavante, i made an arroz ananda where the seafood is cooked separately from the rice which is cooked in a mariscos stock. Because they have a Josper grill they gave the carabineros and bogavante a nice charcoal roasting. Everything was excellent. Finished with a couple of scoops of simple hazelnut and vanilla ice creams. In seeing that I had engineered my own menu a bit the staff offered me a shot of orujo con hierbas to digest my meal. So good
The staff are really nice and attentive and it turns out one manager worked with someone I know from another restaurant so they gave me a tour of the place! Small world. This makes it 2/2 for the new restaurants in Port Olimpico complex.. read more
