A friend of mine who grew up in Jamaica recommended PGs and I haven't looked back since. PGs is located in Downtown White Rock. There is limited parking directly out front, however there is plenty of street parking close by. The interior is quite small, with only a few tables, but the decor is bright and tropical. It reminded me of one of those cute beach hut bars in the Caribbean. Their menu consists of authentic, home-cooked style Jamaican cuisine, with popular dishes like jerk chicken, Jamaican patties, marinated oxtail, and roti. I've personally tried their jerk chicken entree which came with coconut infused veggies and rice, as well as an assortment of their Jamaican patties. Their jerk chicken wings are also a great appetizer, jam packed with flavour. Everything I've tried from here has been amazing. The flavours, the spices, the quality... I have zero complaints.
