I had been a customer of Dr. Pearl, who shares the facility with Dr. Ereso and is retiring. Dr…read more Pearl is one of the few men I've met who is truly an artist and extremely gifted in his vocation, and I was positive that Dr. Ereso, even if he was good, just couldn't be as good as Dr. Pearl. However, I now realize that Dr. Pearl chose Dr. Ereso as a partner because he is. I am a 51 year old woman, who must remain competitive in my career here in the Valley. I just visited Dr. Ereso for the first time to have filler in my cheeks and lips. I wanted a "boost" to restore what my face has lost, but I did --not-- want to look like a movie star or Angelina Jolie. I wanted to look as good as possible, youthful if possible, and like my best self. I wanted a subtle change. Dr. Ereso listened and really heard what I was hoping for. He talked to me about the kinds of fillers and the places they would (and wouldn't) help achieve the results I wanted. He let me know as the process was done, what was happening and what to expect. He also let me know what I could expect in the next few days going forward. The office staff are also truly lovely, kind and good. They made me feel like one of the family and they also deserve a share of the glow in this 5-star review. I feel very beautiful right now as I'm typing this. I could not be happier that I have had this done with Dr. Ereso.

However, the new nurse manager Jackie will be the downfall of the office and sink the business. She is indeed rude, condescending, impatient, and dismissive towards patients. She behaves as if she is the doctor, busting into the exam room without introduction with a demanding tone, cornering you as if it's an interrogation (why not look at the chart instead of acting like the patient is an idiot or imposter). She touches patients without consent and without gloves! It was very confusing as to why she was there instead of the doctor. She presented herself as a barrier, you must talk to her first and then she discusses your case with the doctor before he will come in. But, she doesn't understand or know anything about established patients AND is not pleasant to talk to! I do not know any office that runs like this. We come for the doctor's expertise, not for a nurse or office manager to take over the appointment. These steps add extra time to an already tight schedule. She has made a mess of the paperwork records; electronics glitch and she's added many forms and confusing steps, some contradict one another and do not flow or make sense. Solo time with Dr. Ereso would be a redeeming aspect of the office visit, but Jackie storms into that time as well. If the practice returns to being doctor-patient centered, then I'll reconsider a future review.

Dr. Richard Nguyen was originally referred to us by a friend who is an anesthesiologist, and we are…read moreincredibly grateful for that recommendation. In the spring of 2025, my husband, Jamie, needed to have his gallbladder removed after experiencing persistent problems and inflammation. His surgery was initially scheduled for about a month later, but when his symptoms continued to worsen, we contacted Dr. Nguyen. After discussing what Jamie was experiencing, we decided it was best not to wait--and it was a good thing we didn't. Dr. Nguyen performed the surgery the very next day at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Nguyen is not only an expert in his field, but he also has an exceptional bedside manner. He was attentive, reassuring, and continued to follow up after the procedure. Jamie recovered wonderfully. Fast-forward to September 2026, when Jamie developed severe abdominal pain and went to the emergency room at El Camino Hospital. Testing revealed appendicitis, and we were so relieved to discover that Dr. Nguyen was there and would once again be performing his surgery. Jamie has endured several serious health challenges over the past few years, including vestibular migraines and open-heart surgery at Stanford for an aortic aneurysm, which required part of his aorta to be replaced. Needless to say, he has been through a lot. Seeing Dr. Nguyen immediately lifted his spirits because he knew he would literally be in the best hands. Jamie is currently recovering in the hospital, where he is being monitored because of his medical history, but the surgery went extremely well, and we are confident he will have another smooth recovery. We are deeply grateful for Dr. Nguyen's expertise, compassion, attentiveness, and genuine care for his patients. He takes the time necessary to help ensure the best possible outcome and makes both the patient and their family feel comfortable and supported. Dr. Nguyen is an amazing surgeon, and we recommend him wholeheartedly. If you need a procedure within his area of expertise, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with him. You will not be disappointed.

"Because of my past procedures" After getting the results back he informed me that I did not have a hernia and that the cause most likely is from scar tissue. The CAT scan also found a couple other issues so he referred me to a specialist. Dr. Nguyen is fantastic, he takes his time with you and he listens. He is also very personable. Their treatments (supplements and IV) along with conventional treatment (surgery) helped me recover faster, likely combined with a whole food vegan diet (my protocol). They are a great team to have on your side during a cancer journey. Dr. Connie also helped me in 2003 with my severe pollen allergies (I was allergic to all flowers, grasses and trees). In short, after 7 years of allergy shots, daily prescription pill and steroid nasal spray, the manufacturer of the pill discontinued it. I tried a few other Rx pills that caused insomnia, headaches and acne. A friend suggested I try Dr. Connie. She gave me a couple of supplements and informed me of a diet change, basically low glycemic. Amazingly, as a result, I have been cured since of my year round pollen allergies. The bonus was my exercise induced asthma also disappeared. A few years into the diet change, I tried high intensity exercise without using my inhaler. I have not used an inhaler since then. I will continue using Dr. Connie as my primary doctor. I will continue with maintenance IV vitamin C therapy with Dr. Marcel to keep cancer from returning.

I saw Dr. Huang more than 5+ years ago when I was trying to diagnose a migraine issue. Ultimately,…read moreDr. Huang had checked any potential ENT concerns related to migraine causes and prescribed me some nasal sprays. Over time, luckily they went away. From the visit, I also learned about my deviated septum, which is why I had issues breathing from my nostril growing up and up until surgery! I saw Dr. Huang at the end of 2025 to get a consult for nasal surgery. He recommended a Septoplasty and Reduction of bilateral inferior turbinates. Dr. Huang's bedside manner is one of the best I've encountered in the Sutter network. He is patient and responds to each question with confidence. What sold me was his confidence in this "easier" procedure since I had worries of potential side effects or complications post surgery. Of course, each surgery and how a patient responds and recovers is different, but Dr. Huang reassured that I would likely receive benefits, and not any digressions with my current state. That was enough for me, since I would do anything to get it any % better. I got the septoplasty in early 2026. Operation day was smooth and staff was friendly throughout. Post op and follow up care was good. Recovery is a bit of a pain with the splints and nasal drainage daily, but after a few months now, it is great to be able to fully breathe through my nose! I saw Dr. Huang on a referral from my primary care doctor for long-standing nasal and breathing…read moresymptoms. Before the exam was even done, he suggested most of my symptoms couldn't be explained medically and that I should simply stop paying attention to them. He said "I'm not saying it's in your head," but the message felt the same. Even so, he continued to imply that my symptoms might be imagined. He repeatedly pointed out that I had "seen so many doctors" and asked whether any of them had found anything, even though those earlier visits were years ago and for unrelated issues. At one point he kept asking "What do you want me to do?" in a way that felt confrontational rather than curious. Doctors should recognize that every specialty has its limits. The fact that a patient hasn't been diagnosed with anything within one doctor's area of expertise does not mean the patient has nothing wrong. A confrontational approach like this only makes patients doubt themselves (Am I really sick? Is it all in my head?) and may cause them to miss the treatment they actually need. His advice was that I should ignore these symptoms as much as possible and get back to normal life. But if a patient had no problems and felt completely fine, we wouldn't spend so much time, waiting, and money to see a specialist. Everything we do is to improve our quality of life and feel a little better. My primary care doctor had listed several specific possibilities to evaluate, and they weren't addressed. In the end, he briefly told me I have rhinitis, and said that most of the symptoms I described were purely subjective and that he couldn't explain them. He gave me medication but no education about rhinitis itself. This was the first time I learned I had rhinitis and it was completely new to me, yet he was unwilling to explain much. I wonder whether he treats all patients with milder conditions this way. If we have a condition that the textbook says isn't serious, does that mean we don't deserve to be taken seriously or have it discussed with us? He didn't seem to understand the major impact rhinitis has had on my exercise and sleep. A doctor should have at least basic empathy in order to truly understand a patient's situation. To be fair, the exam itself was done carefully and he prescribed a nasal spray. But I left feeling unheard and judged rather than helped. Patients with symptoms that are hard to pin down deserve curiosity and respect, not skepticism from the start. In the exam room, the patient is already the more vulnerable one. A doctor may have seen patients with the same symptoms thousands of times, but the patient may know nothing about their condition. By the last half of the visit, all I wanted was to get out of there as fast as I could. This was truly the worst and most disappointing medical experience I have ever had. I would not return and would look for a different ENT.
