Janelle has a soft voice and a light touch -- very soothing. I've only had a massage once, a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Himalayan salt stones done by Kenneth. It was one of the best massages I've ever had. He's truly talented and a really nice guy! Hand and Stone always makes me always feel taken care of and looked after without things feeling overly fancy. She uses a magnifying lamp even during a leg wax to make sure she gets every hair. She is fun to talk to, and she is knowledgeable about every type of skin. I tend to get really red when I get waxed, and she uses a product that eliminates the redness. No more telltale red marks left behind telling everyone you just got your lip waxed! She is also one of the few people who wears gloves when she waxes. I cringe when I think about other people I have gone to who did not wear gloves. She is very conscientious about hygiene. I am posting this review a full year after my nails were ruined here 2 days before my wedding day…read more At the time, I was too distraught and busy with planning to take the time to write this review, but after a full year I still can't wrap my head around this experience and want to warn people away from this salon. I had heard great things about this salon! While I can't speak to the experience of getting your hair done here, I can speak to the nail experience and the lack of customer service following errors. My mom surprised me with a wonderful spa day 2 days before my wedding. I was so excited to spend the day with her. We had booked a mini facial, massage, and nails. The day was several hours long and a lunch was supposed to be included, but the day-of we find out that it's not and that our package had transferred from the previous salon/spa. So a lot of this experience is exacerbated by the fact that we were completely starving -- we got there around 9:30/10am and I didn't get home until 3pm, so not having a lunch was very unexpected. But I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and also understand that they were doing their best. The massage and facial were both fine. The really negative experience was my nails. Please look at these photos. These were taken as soon as I got home and is how I left the salon -- breaks and uneven nails and all. I've never in my life had a manicure so unbelievably and laughably bad, and the staff knew that these were my wedding nails. I did not ask for anything out of the ordinary -- just a standard gel mani with a French tip. Of course with my nails completely destroyed 2 days before my wedding, I left afterwards and had to fix them myself, because I couldn't get in anywhere else on such short notice and my weekend was obviously already pretty booked. Now, my mom gave her card info in advance for the package. Since it was already a pretty high stress situation and we had a lot of other planning details to attend to, my mom called a few days later after the wedding to tell them about the negative experience. Oh, I also forgot to mention that they charged us MORE than the originally agreed upon package price, despite not including lunch and completely botching my nails. So my mom calls and asks for at least a partial refund for my nails. They outright refuse. Please please please do NOT get your nails done here. Every nail tech I have shown these photos to has been completely aghast at how horrible these look. I could have done (and did end up having to do) better myself.

The massage therapist were kind and you can tell were experienced based on both of our massages. We did a 60 minute massage and they made sure to use every minute of it and made sure we both were ok throughout the whole time and focused on any area that we asked like back etc... Afterwards they gave us plenty of time to privately get up from bed and get dressed on our own time...no one rushed us.
