I have type 4 hair & I went to her for natural micro links & this is what she gave me. She refuses to refund me. She told me if i just put heat to my hair my hair would be fine, however I told her from the jump i don't wanna have to put heat to my hair to be able to wear it. She said "well then there's nothing more that I can do from here." I paid for natural curly links that she botched & instead of taking accountability she basically told me that because I don't wanna just wear it straight, it's on me. She literally had to have gotten her customer service skills from the same place she got her micro link installation skills. The garbage. Completely unprofessional. Completely unqualified. Completely awful. $450 for the worst service I've ever received. She's the stylist from hell. Beware. She's a fraud and just wants money she doesn't care about service. She's gonna book you at one time, & if you're lucky she will be on time. And she's going to be double, even triple booked , doing someone else's hair.. so you will be waiting. I'd give -100 stars if I could. Yelena is TRASH. Pick another career because you suck at this one.

My daughter is a minor (11) and Belinda went rogue and did not get my consent for any changes from what I had approved. https://www.instagram.com/p/BTPZfyClIOs/ Update; Apparently, the reason Belinda curled my daughter's hair was to cover up the fact that besides being the incorrect color she had completely botched the color. It was immediately noticeable when my daughter's hair was no longer curled. My daughter saw the the botched sections and burst out in tears. Further Update: While the Owner Belinda has now posted a professional and polite response to my review, she sent private messages that were verbally abusive and unprofessional to the point that I was forced to block and report her to Yelp. Further Update: After being blocked from harassing and abusing me on Yelp, the Owner has begun a Social Media campaign of lies against me and had her relatives begin harassing me on Instagram. Due to this harassment, I have been forced to switch my Social Media Accounts to private.

I've been a customer of RODNEY for over 20 years since he began as a simple stylist in a salon in…read moreHarbor Center when Harbor center had just opened. I have followed him all over this city as he moved from salon to salon and from shop to shop. I even flew home to have him do my hair when I was relocated for work. But it seems that Long-term relationship, and loyalty no longer matters to RODNEY and his salon - only money. Over six months ago, I called and canceled an appointment within 48 hours of the appointment. When I tried to go back, I was pushed off onto another stylist who was not as good as RODNEY. And when I asked about appointments that I booked out in the future for Rodney they had canceled them. At the time the staff acted like they didn't know what it happened but today I found out. I had an appointment this morning but woke up very sick and called and had to cancel my appointment. I just returned home from a two month hospitalization and I've been very sick and I explain that to them. But I got a call later demanding $162 for the canceled appointment which would've been half of what I might have paid had I gone in for the service today. I was told if I didn't pay that the other two I had already made would' be canceled. So now I know what happened six months ago. But I got no phone call from them six months ago they just eliminated me off the books without my knowledge. appointments . So after 20 years, this is what it's come down too. After 20 + grateful years and this is how one is treated with and Indifference and insensitivity and a lack of empathy. But the nerve to ask me to pay money for service I didn't receive. But I had been questioning returning to the salon because the attention from RODNEY was no longer there. He wouldn't pay attention to the colors I asked for or the cuts I requested. were requesting. He would simply cut my hair the way he wanted to cut it the way he always cut it even though I was requesting change. The problem was he was always distracted talking on the phone or talking to to people hanging around and not really listening to me as this client anymore . And then to push me off on another stylist was very disappointing. He's supposed to be so busy but I've been in the salon waiting while he walks around talking to people not working on clients eating food, so the quality of the service has just gone down. But it's a hurtful way to end such a long-term relationship. And that they think they can treat clients in this manner and the clients will simply come back because they're the only good salon in Annapolis. Well, that might've been true some 10 years ago, but that is no longer true and clients have options, I have options. So I did my research and found many five star salons in Annapolis and I believe that instead of being taken for granted and dismissed, I'll get more attention and be treated as an appreciated customer. Goodbye RODNEY. Stop thinking so highly of yourself that you can charge outrageous amounts of money for substandard service these days and then dare to demand payment when someone calls in to cancel an appointment because they're ill.
