New place by Washington and Rancho. Sharing parking lot with amigo tire. You will not expect to get fish or shrimp tacos here. I stopped by and wish I had tried them sooner. The shrimp taco was really good, servers with a generous amount of protein. I have also tried their hotdogs, also really good. If you are craving some fish and shrimp tacos this is a stop you need to make. Sonora style restaurant, friendly and great service. If you need some advice just ask the cook.

Two of my companions opted for the lunch special of seafood boils. (It would be fun to have each one at the table order a different seafood boil to try! That's how many choices are available!) The two remaining orders were po'boys. One was soft shell crab while the other was shrimp. Both came with taste choice of fries. We chose Cajun. Everything was amazing and very satisfying with really no room for dessert especially with the portions of french fries. But there is always next time! If you don't mind rustic ambiance, wearing a bib, (because they do give you one), and getting your hands a little "dirty",then you must try this place at least once!

From the moment you walk in, you just know you're in for a great meal. The star of the show for us is hands down the Captain Louis medium seasoning. It hits that perfect sweet spot of bold, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick without being overwhelming. It coats everything beautifully and keeps you reaching for more. Once you try it, you'll understand why we can't stop talking about it! And let's not overlook the drink menu, because Cap't Louis truly delivers on that front as well. The drink options are fantastic and complement the food perfectly. The ambience was nice and cozy, and our waiter was very patient. I ordered the Rockefeller oysters, Rockefeller scallops, fish & chips, and lobster mac & cheese. Everything tasted fresh. I could even tell by the oyster shells because they were different sizes and not all identical. Usually their lobster mac & cheese comes more like a lobster tail with mac & cheese embedded in the lobster, but they customized mine and gave it to me as mac & cheese with lobster all throughout it. The cheese pull was pulling!! However, the mac & cheese lacked seasoning. I'm sorry I didn't take a pic of the lobster Mac & cheese. The fish & chips were really good too. To be honest I got the fish & chips to eat later & when I put it in the air fryer later in the day, it tasted soooo good & fresh!! Oh, and it was so much food I had to take some home. Wasn't sure what I was expecting when she said oyster bar, but it was not what I was expecting. . It was a cool vibe and one of the first things that stood out that she was surprised about was that there was no line. My friend said it's the first time she's been there and there was not a line. Treated her to dinner after letting crash at her place with less than 24 hrs notice. We were there on a Tuesday evening everything that we did this day appeared to be a light crowd day. Tuesday's is the day to go hang out in Vegas if you want shorter lines. I ordered the gumbo with only shrimp as the protein with the okra. It was yummy. I enjoyed it. The gravy was nice. I ended up with two bowls of white rice, which is not typically my choice. However, it was. It was great in there with the gravy and okra and I got the lowest spice level I could which was one so everything was pretty cool there large portions lots of shrimp. I cut my shrimp in half cause I like my things bite-size I have a very small mouth and I was laughing because they gave me a really large spoon which is too big for my mouth so I use my fork that came with a napkin. My friend ordered the BOUILLABAISSE. She powered through it quickly, so I think it was pretty tasty for her too. Three things that got my attention. 1. I enjoyed seeing them prepare our meal right there in front of us how efficient and clean and things were so that was great and it was a bit of a show. 2. They served me water with ice. I don't necessarily appreciate that. I don't like ice in my water and I would prefer them to ask me what I'd like to drink before just serving me something, there may be however, how they do it at bars I don't go to a lot of bars. I'm also sensitive because I have bladder disorder and cold things set off my bladder. 3. I didn't care for the dynamics and exchange that felt off when trying to pay with my tap from my phone. I had to literally give him the phone to do the payment and I feel like that's a little bit of a disconnect the purpose of my mind of doing my tap is so that I don't have to give you my card or my phone so I feel like that's something that's gotta be a little bit more efficient for them to work on especially how busy they are and you know the amount of traffic that takes place in a bar. I love the look and the set up. It felt really cool. It didn't feel like we were sitting in the middle of a casino although we were. I loved seeing them prepare the food from start to finish. That was also really great. I would definitely go there again if I'm in town and we're in the mood for that type of food it had the New Orleans, Louisiana flavor vide to theme to me and really clean. On that note so are the bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the cleanliness and the speed to get in and out of the bathrooms. I'm always gonna give a review on the bathrooms cause they're very important to me as I do have bladder disorder. I hope you all find this read helpful.

My husband and I each ordered a pound of shrimp each but in different preparations. I ordered mine in garlic with 2 corn and one potato with the shrimp peeled without the head. I love my shrimp with the peel and head but I wasn't feeling well and wanted to make the meal easy to eat so I sacrificed a little in the flavor department for convenience. When I opened the bag I was surprised that the potato was huge. I've never had a huge russet potato used in preparation before. I thought I wasn't going to like it but it was actually pretty good. And it was equivalent to at least 3 or 4 potatoes that you usually get in these type of bags. The shrimp , corn , and potatoes were delicious in the super garlicky butter sauce. I dripped a little on my clothes that are ruined forever and I didn't even care because I was enjoying my meal. Oil never washes out so be careful. My husband ordered his shrimp with shell and head in with lemon pepper sauce and two corn and three potatoes. He had a lot of potato! Lol. His was good but not at all what we were expecting. We originally planned to share both styles but his was so spicy that I couldn't eat any of his. We were expecting lemon pepper like the spice we get at the super market or the rub we get on wings. What he got looked like shrimp in molten lava. It was pepper as in super spicy chili pepper sauce with lemon slices. It had a nice flavor but since I ordered it mild I couldn't understand how spicy it came. The shrimp also came peeled with out the heads. Luckily my husband is better with spice than I am. He was able to eat most of it but would have enjoyed it more if it had been milder and had the heads as he ordered it. I can still recommend this restaurant as the flavors are very good and if we had eaten in the restaurant instead of having it delivered then they probably would have remade my husbands meal the way he ordered it for him and I would have been able to give them five stars. Unfortunately as it is I took off a star for missing two order notes. They did a great job packing up for Togo food. They even give you gloves and bibs.
