Meat is really great and there is a good choice of different steaks and the respective side dishes. There are also a lot of further options, e.g. salmon was great. Dessert menu is not too extended, but offers few good options. Quality of the food is fine, no worries about that. Prices are fair. Service is friendly, sometimes maybe a little bit too slow. Location is nicely and comfortable designed. Overall conclusion: very good place and should be visited.

Don't walk here... RUN…read more This restaurant is phenomenal, one of the best steaks I have EVER had... We were lucky to get a cancellation and the restaurant was bouncing when we got there. Staff were the best we met in Prague, absolutely knew their game and the sommelier was top notch. Started with the prawn cocktail which was sensational, served in mini ice blocks with tomato & horseradish which was lovely. Had the rib-eye which was PHENOMENAL, beautifully aged beef and it was like butter. Sides we had the cauliflower cheese, potato gratin and the spinach- all beautiful If I'm Prague and looking for a fine dining experience then this place is a must

My friend Rob and I just got back from spending a month in Bulgaria, and wanted to indulge…read moreourselves in some good steak. Rob did some research and found the Angus Steakhouse in Pilsen. Rob knows his steaks; I trust Rob; there was absolutely no hesitation going to this place, thusly. If you are to take anything away from this review, it would be to make reservations in advance. We came to this place on a Tuesday night in July - typically the seasons in Europe would dictate how busy a particular city/town would be - and did not expect to run into any issues with reserved seating. As mentioned by the review below, the restaurant seating is actually downstairs. The seating was very limit, but it provided a cozy and homey feel. Immediately, we discovered that the restaurant was nearly booked out, but was lucky enough to reserve some seats for 2 hours later. We ended up picking up a top shelf Cabernet Sauvignon and starting with steak tartar to be prepped by ourselves. The only way to describe the steak tartar is how one would feel if they ascended through space and time dimensional vortex - it was amazing. For our main meal, we ordered two 600 gram ribeyes cooked for rare, to be accompanied by potatoes cooked in various ways. The steaks were glorious to say the least. In the end, we paid about 2500 koruna which is an unbeatable price for the entire meal we consumed. This is the steakhouse of Pilsen.

The restaurant is pretty cool because you have to descend down a staircase to get into it. It felt like eating in a dungeon, but not in a creepy way because there was plenty of light. Everyone but me ordered a rumpsteak...I wanted to try the burgers. I ordered the jalapeno Angus burger. It was just 'meh'....burgers aren't something the Euros do well. I would go back....if only because it's cool to eat in a dungeon ;).....
