    side of burger

THEORY: The one in three burger curse. I am here to present a proven theory of the side of cheeseburger. My findings show that if you are to order a side of cheeseburger, approximately one in three of said burgers will be a bowl of queso. This has been proven with my research. Service was great!

My wife and I stopped in here last night after dropping our son off at the YMCA. We both had the chimichanga meal and enjoyed it thoroughly. We got in just before the rush which made it that much better. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely be back again.

The restaurant has beautiful outside seating and most tables are spaces 6feet apart, which was quite nice. The waitstaff was accommodating and friendly. Our waiter Emil was super nice. I ordered fish tacos. The food looked very tasty but I have to admit that the fish tacos tasted dry. My side of squash and rice was under seasoned. My hubby ordered quesadillas and said that his dish was very tasty. Our Long Island ice Tea and Margarita had a nice kick and was really good. I was a little taken aback when I noticed that one guest was smoking at the table. She literally smoked one cigarette after another. Luckily we sat far enough away and didn't have to deal with the smoke. Not sure if it is even allowed still to smoke in a restaurant.

At first, I was skeptical because of the low ratings, but as I started reading the ratings, most of the bad ones are doing the pricing. Now I think, for being in the area that we are, it's fair pricing, and they give you large amounts of food that being said we ordered a burrito which in my opinion look like a chimichanga or an enchilada. We also ordered enchiladas and chicken fajitas it wasn't bad wasn't great but the seasoning was very good. The chips and salsa might've been some of the best ones I've had in a while and this coming from a Mexican kid, now the one thing I might see is the initial service sucks, but the waiter did apologize and stated that he forgot where we sat however, he did make it up and worked very hard at that point the pink strawberry lemonade he made it himself. It was amazing. I would return for the chips, the lemonade, but as far as the food goes some of the local supermarket have better food.

    Birria Tacos

Traveling through here from Buffalo, I got the Birria tacos... they were incredible and flavorful. If you come here regularly and you haven't tried them your really doing yourself a disservice by ignoring this menu item. Great service!!

Great food but service was slow compared to most Mexican restaurants. Prices fair and a good variety of options. Restaurant was clean and the servers were very nice just took awhile for us to place order and for the food to be ready

High marks for a genuine tavern serving up delicious tavern food (not "bar" food). It's a spacious…read moreand comfortable eatery with loads of natural light coming in from huge front windows. High and low top wooden tables available plus a big three sided bar. All seats have backs. We came on New Years Day so the weekday lunch specials were available. I got the grilled cheese of the month (shaved Italian beef, I chose banana peppers, tomato and mayo as toppings). It was perfect. The buttery sourdough bread is ideal for this type of sandwich, and the homemade tomato bisque rich and creamy with a nice little spice kick. The parmesan kettle chips were incredibly delicious. Usually I'm not a fan of kettle chips being too hard but these were nice and crispy. Lots of good food to eat for ten bucks! My husband had Mr B's burger and upgraded to sidewinder potatoes. Two thumbs up on both. Sometimes it's the little things that really put it over the top. Mr B's has spicy brown mustard available and make sure you ask for some to dip those soft and salty buckeye pretzel bites! Try it and thank me later. Service was excellent from being greeted, getting questions answered, to being checked on and finally having our leftovers boxed up. There are a number of large screen TVs but not an excessive number. This delightful tavern is not a sports bar, though they have an amazing homage to the Ohio State Buckeyes with one wall displaying a rather amazing panoramic shot of the packed stadium. Very happy with Mr B's. They are open every day and I will definitely return.

Things to Note: -The exterior stairs were locked when we came. There's another set of stairs within Entropy itself. -I did not see an elevator to make it into this basement speakeasy. There is an outdoor and indoor set of stairs. -There is a single unisex restroom downstairs with the speakeasy. It's a tight fit, but it exists. If you need more space, there are a lot more bathrooms upstairs. -Good variety of seating from booths, low top tables, a few bar high top chairs, and a table with high top chairs. -It is DARK down here. Our eyes took some readjusting to the sunlight when we left. If you struggle with lower light areas, this may be too dark. They went for the "super dark, lit by table lights only" vibe here. -There was live music when we came. The music is a bit loud downstairs, and I wouldn't call the acoustics great, but the band themselves were fantastic and energetic. Very friendly and had a great vibe for the space. Our bartender, Hank, was fantastic, though. Absolutely MADE the experience, and Entropy is lucky to have him. Super friendly guy who understands the balance between too much talking and giving you some space. His drinks were well-poured and very balanced. This includes when he had some deadtime and offered to make us drinks if we just let him know what spirit and flavor profile we were thinking. The drinks were delicious and, again, very well-balanced. Hank could probably work quite a bit more magic with a larger spirits selection, but he was very good at what he did. We had a great time, and we'd definitely return. I'm not sure the return visit would be nearly as amazing without Hank though. He really made the entire experience a memorable one that we'll look back on instead of just a "solidly okay speakeasy".
