That makes writing this review genuinely disappointing. During my last visit, I noticed something that completely changed how I felt about the restaurant. There was a Confederate flag displayed inside, which I had never seen before. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt because there was also a Mexican flag displayed nearby. But when I walked up to pay, I noticed a Trump sticker and a "Nescum" sticker on the beverage cooler near the register. That's what really bothered me. Everyone is entitled to their own political beliefs, and I respect that. But I don't believe a family restaurant is the place to display political messages, regardless of which side they support. When a business chooses to do that, it changes the atmosphere and can make customers feel unwelcome. It honestly broke my heart because I've supported this restaurant for well over a decade. I've always appreciated the family, the food, and the service. Unfortunately, after this experience, I've decided I won't be returning. I truly wish them the best, but I miss when this was simply a great local Mexican restaurant where everyone could feel comfortable, regardless of their political views.

Best mexican food, great service and prices. This is a new spot for us. It's been there for years and years. The owner is the cook and his wife the waitress and boy can he cook up some great authentic Mexican food ! We have made this family owned and operated restaurant our go to when we go out to eat and have walked out satisfied every time ! The Shrimp Cocktail is HUGE and a meal in its self.
