At Tacos De Acapulco In Grover Beach, CA On Our Way Home From Cleaning My Moms Carpet And Bathroom. Was A Mission..!! I Haven't Eaten Here In Awhile..!! But I Know It's Gonna Be GOOD...!!!

    Asada burrito combo!

First timer and it was better then expected! Menu has everything you need to know about what to order. Cashier was fast and efficient. Got our food in less then 10 minutes! Burritos are built based on what you want in it! Amazing flavor, you can tell they marinate there meat! Please try them out!

Asada Nachos, chicken enchiladas combo, quesadilla and California burritos with a side of chips & salsa and fries.

This is definitely a hidden gem and a must go to whenever we are in the area. Staff is so friendly and kind, food is delicious and portion sizes are so worth the money! Love the area and you can easily grab some delicious food before enjoying the day at the beach.

Their Nacho Supreme is no joke. It's colossal! Other customers were surprised how large the serving was. They just couldn't keep their nasty comments to themselves. Enough of their opinions. I'll share mine. It's ridiculously good. Have a beer along with it and you be napping like a baby. My date had the shrimp fajitas. She stated they were plump and tasty. I do trust her opinion because she knows what's she's talking about. Keep in mind their food is assembled to your liking. With that said, stay at the counter while they put it all together. They had to yell at me with questions from a far because I already took a seat at my table. My bad. That was funny as hell.

Carne asada and carnitas burrito & carne asada chimichanga

I've been coming here since I was in 8th grade so close to 18 years. Used to come here once a week for years . There's been maybe 2 or 3 times out of maybe 100 plus times of coming here over the years , that the quality wasn't as good or the same... but other than that, it always taste the same & to me , it always tastes great. If you're someone that loves a hole in the wall Mexican place w a lot of stuff on your burritos or nachos, then this is the right place for you. I'm not a picky eater whatsoever , my boyfriend is the complete opposite. So I get all his extra salsas and sides and it's great. In the burrito, if you want lettuce & tomato ... you do have to ask for it when ordering at the counter , it is a little extra but oh well. Everything's expensive these days. The habanero salsa is a lil extra now too and it's spicy as hell, but like I just stated above. Oh well, get over it haha. Anyways, love this place... always will. 3/4 of the people that have been here since I was 12 , still work here to this day. You'll always leave full & it's definitely a craving I get at least once a month now that has to be fulfilled, especially when pregnant like I am now. 5 stars for yummy food & consistency

I went to this spot with colleagues while on a job-related visit to Pismo Beach back in January (2024). I ordered a taco plate and it was delicious! The price is also right! The service is fast and wonderful!

Came across this hole in a wall spot and loved it! I haven't tried plenty on the menu yet but with my two visits, so far no complaints! Fresh tortillas makes a difference that's a for sure for me from now on. You come up to the cashier tell them your order to charge you and then once the tortillas are ready they call your number to come up and tell them what you want in your items. FOOD: items I have tried are sope (carne asada), tacos (carne asada, al pastor, cabeza), burrito (campechana which is chicken, asada and pork). All have been a hit for me so far! The meats were cooked just right not chewy! The cabeza is soft and melt in your mouth but very fatty/oily. The portions have been great both times. Presentation of food have been neat and clean. Prices have gone up but so has everything in the world so pay at your own risk I guess lol AMBIENCE: parking can be a struggle depending on times you come in. Parking is limited given you share it with a laundromat next door and other stores. The inside is spacey and plenty of tables and chairs. It has a potential to be a loud place but not rowdy. SERVICE: i have had no bad service so far. They were always quick and willing to answer questions about the orders. They were also willing to add or lessen the amount of ingredients you want in your items which was a nice perk. Overall, I would recommend the place. The food was good. Service was quick and to the point. Price range can be from $5-$20 maybe $25. Good eats! Support local!

My favorite place to get a burrito. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is relaxed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Location is in a neighborhood so it's not too busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Been coming here for almost 20 years and the food is still great. Try the habanero salsa. Lots of flavor and spicy.

These chips were free and that's because everyone who works here are so cool and friendly!!!

I waited 45 minutes and paid $6 dollars for this piece of crap (will attach a pic) i got the vegetarian taco, which you would think they could at least add some cheese to it for flavor but nope. Also, for a place called "The gril", you would think that the vegetables WOULD actually be grilled, but no, they were not. The rice was dry, and the beans had no flavor. I literally could not eat it and left half of it there. My server felt so bad she insisted on not taking a tip. So because of this crappy company, my server did not get a tip. I would have insisted, but I didn't have cash, and she would not allow me to add a tip to my card charge because she knew I waited 45 minutes for a fu*king vegetable taco ‍ Honestly, I think they screwed up and forgot, because there's no way it should have taken that long, and she knew that....she kind of flinched and grimaced, and she said "I'm sorry, I think they got backed up" and kind of rolled her eyes as if to say, I think they fu*ked up, she even said quietly to me "I think maybe they forgot". This was for the live music event on Friday, 6/19 at Claiborne & Churchill. The music was great, The servers/ wine stewards were amazing, but the food was horrible. At least my taco was. if I ever see La Parilla serving food again anywhere I am, I will not order anything! BLECH. Oh, also I asked for no onions, and they couldn't even get that right. In one of my pictures, you will see onions that I pulled aside on the plate. I could have pulled aside more, but I was wolfing down what I could after waiting 45 miinutes for a frigging shit*y vegetarian taco that was crap when I got finally got it. NOT worth the wait. No cheese, no sour cream, no guacamole....just dry rice, flavorless beans, and a few pieces of bell pepper, plus onions - which I asked to NOT HAVE. What a pathetic, underflavored, overpriced taco. Ironically, I drove by Hannah's tacos food truck earlier, and I should have just bought some tacos from them. They are, I think $3 per taco, and 10 times better than this crap was

The space has a cool, modern vibe while still feeling welcoming, and everything was spotless--it honestly looks brand new and very well maintained. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable lingering a bit longer and enjoying your meal. The only small downside for me was that the chips and salsa were served at the same time as the main dishes. I would have preferred to have them brought out earlier as a starter, just to enjoy them before the meal arrived.
